EPA puts inconvenient data on 1930s
drought and heat wave down the
memory hole

Scaring the public into supporting the economy-wrecking Green Bad Deal is easier if we hide the data on previous periods of rising temperatures. And that is what has been done by our very own EPA, as Larry Hamlin documents at Watts Up With That: The EPA has deleted (this chart and data no longer exist at the EPA website) its prior indicator climate data trend chart showing “unusually hot and cold temperatures” across the U.S. and showing the U.S. Heat Wave Index from 1895 to 2015 (shown below) that clearly established the unique drought and heat period of the 1930s.

Comments:

The EPA lies intentionally, removing the historical data which shows that there really ISN'T ANY global warming going on recently.

Other agencies have just been "correcting" the past temperatures. I guess the EPA didn't have that much time to waste before destroying freedom. Canada erased theirs a couple of years ago from what I read. For me, that just proves that they know how wrong they are but keep putting out their lies. What I don't see is how anyone can deny what these agencies are doing.

Like COVID, Climate-con is all about leftist control over those who do not wish to be controlled. The leftists among us are feeling less need to hide their communists underpinnings, since somehow it is evidently OK in 2021 to publicly express the desire to burn our Constitution - and do away with the protections therein - and openly support self avowed Marxist organizations and Chinese communism. The only thing I find scary is the absence of a tangible, physical pushback from Normal Americans. The Normals are now being labeled extremists by our national government, not the racist communists and anarchists, and the Normals are seemingly OK with it. This cannot end well but it will eventually play out to a conclusion that is no longer predictable. Just within the last two years, the once numerous bold comments about citizens applying the 2A to hold their country have all been all but eliminated. Those making those comments for several decades obviously never meant them. The far left has called that bluff and the right-of-center have scampered into their hidey holes, just as bad, if not worse, than republicans in Congress.

Many years ago I looked at the data from the Ripogenus Dam weather site. It ran from the 1930's to the 1990's. It is in the middle of Maine isolated from any cities in the middle of the woods. It showed cooling over the years it was operating. Since this was politically incorrect, the site was shut down and the data erased. So much for scientific inquiry.

Statistics don't lies, but liars certainly lie with statistics. Git rid of the Roman warming period, the Medieval warm period, the 1930s warming, and we seem to be rather warm these days. Go back even further in time, and we are cold compared to some of the geological record. None of this is proof that CO2 has anything to do with warming periods or that mankind has any effect on it. Just more fake science from leftists.

I get the New York Times' daily free newsletter in my email. You can save your rotten tomatoes. I refuse to pay for anything they print. But sometimes it's useful to stay in contact with the other side. The NYT May 27 letter discusses the history of the COVID lab leak theory and declares that "the best mitigation strategies — travel restrictions, testing, contact tracing, social distancing, ventilation, and masking — are still the best mitigation strategies." My parsimony has once again been proven well founded. Let's break it down. Mitigation is "the process or result of making something less severe, dangerous, painful, harsh, or damaging."

For over a year, conservatives have suspected that the Wuhan virus came, not from people eating bats or pangolins, but from Chinese researchers messing around with bat viruses. That suspicion has now been pretty much confirmed. China, whether carelessly or deliberately, created and released a virus that essentially destroyed the world as we know it. It should be made a pariah nation, but instead, the Senate, by a huge margin that included almost all Republicans, adopted an amendment that cuts tariffs on hundreds of products that China ships to America. I'm probably being very stupid here, but for the life of me, I can't understand why.

CNN must be wishing it had President Trump to kick around some more. What else to say to the news that its ratings have gone "down the toilet" as mrcNewsBusters put it? ...as per the latest Nielsen ratings, CNN has continued to hemorrhage viewers with primetime and entire day total viewership down over 70 percent since January. Nielsen Media Research has the breakdown and it’s not pretty, no matter how the Zucker Borg would spin it. Since a January high of roughly 798,000 primetime viewers and 530,000 total day viewers in the 25-54 demographic, CNN has fallen off a cliff

Israel’s Defense Forces shared a video Wednesday that they said showed Hamas leader Yehiyeh Sinwar "proudly" showing off "a child holding a firearm." In the video, the child is also wearing camo fatigues and what appears to be a flak vest, greeting a group of adult men on a stage. He is hoisted into the air, brandishing what looks like a rifle with a high-capacity magazine as music plays and the adults hug him and kiss his hand. The video was taken at a Hamas rally in Gaza City on Monday. The child’s father was a member of Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades, who was killed in the 11-day conflict

Even a mild case of coronavirus could leave people with lifelong protection against the virus, a new study suggests, with researchers calling previous reports that immunity was not long-lived following infection "a misinterpretation of the data." In the study, conducted by Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and published May 24 in the journal Nature, researchers took bone marrow samples from 18 out of 77 participants who were already signed up to give blood samples at three-month intervals starting about a month after initial infection. The bone marrow samples were taken between seven and eight months after initial COVID infection.

If these were any other vaccines, they would already be off the market. In fact, they would have been pulled a long time ago. Usually, a new drug is withdrawn after 50 deaths, which isn't typical because the FDA has a strict approval process. The COVID-19 vaccines have been exempted from it, instead being temporarily "authorized" for emergency use. These vaccines have coincided with 3,544 American deaths and 12,619 serious injuries as of April 23, according to the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reports System database (VAERS, republished "as is" in user-friendly format here). The flu vaccines by comparison are linked to 20–30 death reports a year,

In the months leading up to Memorial Day, 17-year-old Christian Juvet decided to restore a massive concrete American flag in his local California park for his Eagle Scout project. Juvet said he noticed that the concrete flag memorial was in "disarray, had graffiti on it, skid marks, all sorts of dirt and gunk on it." "I did some research and found out the historic significance of it and that it was actually made during World War II to honor veterans," Juvet told Fox News Saturday. Once he found out how important the monument to veterans was, he knew he had to refurbish it, so he and other scouts

From the beginning of COVID's outbreak in China, there's been a steady drumbeat of information saying the Chinese created COVID in a lab and, accidentally or on purpose, unleashed it on the world. The World Health Organization, the Democrats, the Deep State, and the tech tyrants managed to suppress that information in 2020, but it's roared back this year. Tucker Carlson put the pieces together in his opening monologue and, with help from Chinese scientist Li-Meng Yan, makes it plain that, even if China didn't deliberately release the virus, it turned it into a weapon of biological warfare by withholding information about it. Here's Tucker's monologue.

Nine killed by gunfire in another mass shooting. Hateful attacks on Jews and Asians rising. All of that happened in the last week.
