Juan Williams Leaving‘The Five’ At Fox News

Original Article

Juan Williams, one of the original co-hosts of Fox News Channel’s The Five, is leaving the program. Williams revealed the decision on Wednesday’s show. Williams has been The Five‘s most frequent Democratic co-host, having joined the program at launch in 2011 as a back-up co-host, becoming a regular a few years later. He will continue to serve as a Fox News senior political analyst. With the show set to return to the studio June 1, Williams chose to stay close to home in Washington D.C. rather than commute to New York.

Comments:

Hooray. We love The Five, but have to turn it off so often when Juan starts all his blabbering. Hopefully they replace him with a less obnoxious person.

Bob Beckel was one of the few libs I could tolerate. It is challenge to find a left wing nut that doesn't irritate the hell out of you. My first choice to replace him would be Tulsi.

"He will continue to serve as a Fox News senior political analyst." When has Juan Williams analyzed anything on Fox? I've never seen him express a single original thought. But for spewing Democrat talking points he'd have to be silent. He'd be the last talking head on TV I'd pick to debate anyone.

Juan seems like a very amiable man. I would probably enjoy talking with him about anything but politics. But last week he said Americans were singing "happy days are here again" and I had to wonder what alternate universe he resides in. Won't miss him. I wouldn't mind seeing Harold Ford taking over as the "token democrat" on the panel. He is low key, steady and not an insane liberal democrat sprouting progressive idiotic notions.

I am not a fan of Juan, but I wonder if he no longer has the stomach to parse and defend the indefensible Biden administration. Who needs that kind of abject humiliation?

While I disagreed with Juan Williams 99% of the time, at least he stayed civil while disagreeing with the rest of the panel on a daily basis. Please do not replace him with Donna Bazile, please, please, please!

That's good news. He's probably a decent person to talk to if politics doesn't come up. As others have said, he only spouts Democrat talking points that are fresh off the fax machine from the DNC. Never an original thought.

Hillary and Bill Clinton were spotted having dinner with friends on Manhattan's Upper East Side Tuesday evening. Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show the presidential pair arriving separately with a Secret Service detail to posh uptown restaurant Fleming by Le Bilboquet. But Hillary, sipping her favorite white wine, looked glum as her ever-engaging husband was deep in conversation with Sting's wife Trudie Styler, who at one point rested her head on Bill's shoulder for a group selfie. Bill was dressed in a blue suit with a checkered button-down shirt—no tie—while Hillary wore a three-quarter-length striped wool coat as she drank her wine.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the embattled former Republican conference chair, during an interview Wednesday with the Wall Street Journal’s “Women, Power and Equity” event, said she sees her “re-election bid as a referendum on the future of the Republican Party.” The Wyoming Republican said voters are “potentially facing a choice between what she sees as traditional conservative values and loyalty to former President Donald Trump.” She said she already sees the upcoming 2022 midterm election as being a difficult one for her. Cheney was ousted by her party from leadership earlier this month for having repeatedly criticized former President Donald Trump for his past statements on the 2020 election.

The three-hour radio slot left vacant by the death of conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is to be filled by a lawyer-turned-sports journalist and a former CIA counter-terrorism expert-turned-political commentator. The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show will be broadcast on hundreds of stations across the country from June 21st. Limbaugh died in February from lung cancer at the age of 70. Travis, 42, founded the sports website Outkick.com while Sexton, 40, is an ex-CIA and New York police officer. At one stage, conservative commentator Dan Bongino was thought to be the front-runner, but now he will front his own show to compete directly with Travis & Sexton.

The setting: the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Something is deeply wrong with the mind of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Toni Williams, writing at Victory Girls, has her number: AOC has proven to be emotionally fragile and uses that fragility as a politically manipulative tactic. Who could ever forget her fake crying in an empty parking lot when she was trying to drag President Donald Trump for putting kids in cages at the border? (snip) Now, she is claiming that the trauma she experienced because someone was banging on her office door has her in therapy. And she has the unbelievable gall to liken what she and other members of Congress experienced that day to having effectively “served in war.”

CNN reported Tuesday that the Biden administration shut down a State Department effort launched by then-Secretary Mike Pompeo to investigate the origin of the virus.

The column complains that calling people of color places people of other colors on par with black people in their grievances. No, no, no. They do not want those Asians or Hispanics horning in on their action The whole point of BLM and all that crap is to promote black supremacy. The argument is white people got to be racist for a few centuries, it is black people's turn now.

Casey Anthony is tired of “getting drinks thrown in her face,” according to a police report. Anthony, famously acquitted of murder in the 2008 death of her young daughter, Caylee, informed investigators of the ongoing issue following an incident at a Florida bar called O’Shea’s Irish Pub. The once-accused killer called police to the West Palm Beach watering hole on Sunday after a tense run-in with a former friend, later identified as Thelma Moya, the police report stated. Anthony told responding officers the tiff—started over “an ex-boyfriend they were dating at the same time”—culminated in Moya spilling “water on [Anthony’s] left leg.”

On Saturday, USA Today published an op-ed written by Chelsea Mitchell, one of three female athletes at the center of a legal challenge to Connecticut’s unfair transgender rules that allow biological males to compete against females in women’s sports. Apparently facing some backlash a few days after publication, USA Today altered Mitchell’s words and claimed that she had used “hurtful language.” On Tuesday, USA Today slapped an “Editor’s Note” at the top of the article. The note reads, “This column has been updated to reflect USA TODAY’s standards and style guidelines. We regret that hurtful language was used.”
