Transgender Censorship: USA Today Erases 'Hurtful' Words From Female Athlete's Op-Ed

Original Article

Posted By: Drastic, 5/27/2021 4:37:47 PM

On Saturday, USA Today published an op-ed written by Chelsea Mitchell, one of three female athletes at the center of a legal challenge to Connecticut’s unfair transgender rules that allow biological males to compete against females in women’s sports. Apparently facing some backlash a few days after publication, USA Today altered Mitchell’s words and claimed that she had used “hurtful language.” On Tuesday, USA Today slapped an “Editor’s Note” at the top of the article. The note reads, “This column has been updated to reflect USA TODAY’s standards and style guidelines. We regret that hurtful language was used.”

Comments:

What's hurtful is letting males compete against females and taking the girl's chances of victory and scholarships away. But no one's standing up for them.

These creatures who feel compelled to rearrange their parts should just play the hand they were dealt and get on with their lives. Spose USA Today would deem that language "hurfful/"? Well... good! I don't read USA Today even if it's placed at my hotel room door.

USA Today dishonestly attributed a statement to Chelsea Mitchell that she didn't make. She correctly noted she has to compete against MALES. Human beings with XY chromosomes who, by claiming to "identify" as female. are allowed to take scholarships away from actual females. The male's BODY puts her a disadvantage despite all of her hard work and training. USA Today substituted a politically correct, made up "quote" in order to muddle the truth. USA Today's excuse: It's hurtful" for men when women don't accept MEN as legitimate competitors in female sports. Shame on everyone who participated in misreporting what she actually said. It's fake news.

I would sue if any publication attributed words in a quoted passage to me when I had not uttered them. When telling the truth is deemed hurtful, it is time to close down your news organization.

Notice how female trans athletes (fake males) don't seem to line up to compete against real males. That alone puts the lie to USA Today's characterization of the whole sordid matter.

It is an op-ed, not a news article. USA today should have left it as written by Chelsea Mitchell. If they wanted a PC op-ed, they could have written their own. The op-ed are supposed to show the writers point of view and are not meant to be "news articles". Sometimes they state opinions that will make people upset or sad. That is good! That is how a dialog about the subject starts. Whitewashing the subject with a bunch of fluffy PC language totally changes the authors tone and intent. If people don't like the op-ed, they can write a letter to the editor.

It is not like Chelsea said "the fake girl", "the they/them pretending to be a girl", "the they/them who runs too slow to compete with the boys but still wants a trophy so they/ them identifies as a girl", "someone who needs some serious psychological counseling", "they/them's running tights don't even match they/them's shoes", or some other real insult like calling the person a boy / male! Sorry but trying to use the PC pronouns...

I wonder how long it will take women in sports to recognize that they either beat the hell out of these men ins the showers or locker rooms, as a team event, or just give up and abandon sports? If you aren't willing to fight for it, you are going to lose it. My bet is that about three 'sporting women' could effectively explain to any on e of these men pretending to be women that it won't be as much fun as they think it will be. I know, women want to settle things peacefully. That isn't going to happen. Those men understand one thing very well. Pain.

These mens' bodies naturally create testosterone and the women do not. If a biological woman has testosterone in her system, it is considered cheating. Why is it not considered cheating when these trannies have it in their systems? Just follow the science, you hypocritical cretins!

I have an idea for the overly sensitive trans athletes who want to compete against the girls. Have the trannies compete against each other. Lets just see who the fastest trans athlete is. It could even be a new Olympic category. PS...To all the future Bruce/Caitlyn Jenners out there...You're welcome.

It appears many in our country have had their brains injected with woke substances which has caused them to lose the logical, part of their brain! Women should be allowed to compete in women’s races without the harmful word male being injected in any realistic activity.
