at Reagan Library

Original Article

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan grew up admiring Ronald Reagan and wielded political power under Donald Trump. So, it was Ryan, the former Wisconsin lawmaker who represented Janesville and the 1st Congressional District for 20 years, who was selected to lead off a speaker series on the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. The setting: the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Comments:

The story includes a few advance tidbits from Ryan's speech. If you want to know who the establishment Republicans are, just scan the room during the speech. To them the Trumpistas are the RINOs..."Real Republicans" are something else.

Donald Trump advanced and enacted the most conservative (and successful) presidential agenda since Reagan and has handed republicans a once in a generation lifeline which some RINOs pseudo-conservatives are using to hang themselves. Guess which category Ryan is in? (Hint...the same category as Liz Cheney, Chris Christie, Mitt Romney, Jeff Flake and the limp-wristed pedophiles of the Lincoln Project....say bye, by ladies)

Paul Ryan converted from a studious conservative into a punk somewhere along the way but when we see the Bush brothers, Liz Cheney and Bill Kristol applauding Ryan's remarks, we'll be reminded who actually stood up for American conservative principles in 2016 and 2020 and it wasn't the aforementioned bozos.

The OP said it all. If you check out the Events Calendar on Reagan Foundation website, you will see that globalist Republicans rule the speaker schedule. The GOP honors Pence, Medved, Bill Bennett, Bill Kristol, and those in their club. Trump and we his voters are still despised just as Bush country club set despised the Phyllis Schlafly conservatives.

She raised three children in a house she has owned for decades in Washington Heights, a neighborhood full of shade, wide streets and well-kept lawns. On a scale of 1 to 10, she’d rate the city a 9. “We love what the city has to offer,” she said. But Blom, who is white, acknowledges that Milwaukee doesn’t provide everyone with the same opportunities. She recalled an instance years ago when a Black friend house sat for her. When he was outside the home one day, a passerby questioned his presence there.

Acknowledging that "conservatives find ourselves at a crossroads," former House Speaker Paul Ryan sought to map out a vision for the Republican Party in the post-Donald Trump era. In an address Thursday night at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, Ryan credited Trump for bringing "many new voters into our party" but said Republicans have to face a reality. "If the conservative cause depends on the populist appeal of one personality, or of second-rate imitations, then we're not going anywhere," Ryan said.
