I find the biggest shift of thought in my 80 years of life is censorship. I want to share with you my personal experiences. [SNIP] Then the media tornado hit. Media Matters, a George Soros funded leftist group, had a meeting in Florida. The SPLC was the centerpiece presenter said that people such as me should be driven out of business. My #1 best seller on Amazon disappeared, YouTube deleted my 8 million view “Why We Are Afraid” video. My videos were demonetized. Master Card said I could not use their logo. PayPal canceled my account. Face Book shadow banned me. Twitter shadow banned me.

When the horse is dead, you should probably stop beating it.
Jan 6 has been dead for a while. It paid off for a few months, but as we head toward June, House Democrats and their media still keep talking about some sort of bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol Riot.
If the Democrats want an investigation so badly, then they can include the May 31 protest.
Or is an attack on the White House by Black Lives Matter somehow not serious enough to merit an investigation?

The post office’s law enforcement arm has faced intense congressional scrutiny in recent weeks over its Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP), which tracks social media posts of Americans and shares that information with other law enforcement agencies. Yet the program is much broader in scope than previously known and includes analysts who assume fake identities online, use sophisticated intelligence tools and employ facial recognition software, according to interviews and documents reviewed by Yahoo News.

Members of the Grammy-winning rap group The Roots are teaming up with Disney Junior for several animated short films aimed at teaching kids aged 2 to 7 about race, racism, and social justice issues.
The project, entitled Rise Up, Sing Out, is set to be executive produced by The Roots members Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter.
“We hope these shorts will encourage the young audience to recognize and celebrate our differences as human beings while learning the tools to navigate real-world issues of racial injustice."

For many Americans, the violent clash between Israel and Hamas sparks an understandable sense of having seen it all before. While it’s true there is a long, bloody history between the combatants, the current fighting is unique in ways that make the endgame especially crucial for the Jewish state and the entire region.
The most obvious change is that Hamas increased its rocket capacity, both in numbers and range. In previous battles, the relative handful of explosives launched from Gaza were a threat only to Israelis near the border.
This time, more than 2,000 rockets and mortars have been fired.

For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt.
But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents.
Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

The Treasury Department said Monday that 39 million families are set to receive monthly child payments beginning on July 15.
The payments are part of President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package, which expanded the child tax credit for one year and made it possible to pre-pay the benefits on a monthly basis. Nearly 88% of children are set to receive the benefits without their parents needing to take any additional action.
Qualified families will receive a payment of up to $300 per month for each child under 6 and up to $250 per month for children between the ages of 6 and 17.

Francisco José Contreras, deputy to Spain's far-right Vox Party, was locked out of his Twitter account for 12 hours last week after saying "a man cannot get pregnant" because they have "no uterus or eggs." Contreras' comments were in response to an article he shared on the social media platform about a transgender male who announced they were a father after giving birth to a baby girl.
Contreras said in a Facebook post on May 11 that he had received a message from Twitter which informed him that he had violated its policies on "hate speech" for the remarks."

Gabriel Johnson, a retired Marine and the co-founder of the Coalition to Save Portland, explains the current "atmosphere" in the city. [SNIP] In July, living only a block away from the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse in downtown Portland, which has become an epicenter of violence in the city, Johnson marched into the chaos carrying his American flag.
He told Fox News at the time, "I was being called the N-word by Black people. People were chasing me around with baseball bats."
He said he also witnessed a 65-year-old Black veteran attempt to stop the burning of Johnson’s flag, only to be beaten by alleged Black Lives Matter protesters.

Social media users are demanding CNN respond after discovering that one of their freelance contributors, Adeel Raja, who has written dozens of pieces for the outlet, wrote in a now-deleted tweet that "the world today needs a Hitler." After some digging, it turned out to be one of several messages Raja has posted praising the Nazi leader.
"The only reason I am supporting Germany in the finals - Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!" Raja wrote. [SNIP] "Hail Hitler!" he wrote the following day. Twitter users shared screenshots of the messages.

Remember during the pandemic when we occasionally wondered where the supplies that the federal and state government was supposed to have stockpiled for emergencies like this were, and it turned out Obama and Democrat governors had emptied them out?
Even lackluster RINOs like Schwarzenegger had responsibly built up stockpiles of supplies for an emergency that Democrats trashed.
Once this became an issue, the media rushed into action, spinning frantically and tossing out denials. [SNIP] The Department of Health and Human Services has diverted more than $2 billion meant for other health initiatives toward covering the cost of caring for unaccompanied immigrant children.

Cedar Point guests reported long lines and ride closures opening day weekend.
Park-goers took to Twitter to share their complaints about the waits. A spokesperson for Cedar Point said they plan on reaching out to guests that were disappointed with their experience. They released the following statement:
"Like businesses in our area, in Ohio and across the country, Cedar Point is not immune to hiring challenges. However, we’ve increased wages, enhanced employment incentives like a $500 sign-on bonus and introduced dozens of new full-time, year-round positions. We continue to recruit all year, just as we have in the past, and we will open more park locations as our workforce increases."
