Bill Gates attended a 2013 meeting in Strasbourg with Jeffrey Epstein at the home of the then chairman of Norway's Nobel Committee, it has been claimed, amid comments from ex-staffers who say the Microsoft founder turned a blind eye to Epstein's reputation because he thought he could help him get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Comments:

Isn't that sweet, Little Billy Gates trying to buy a Nobel Prize to cement his vision of himself as a Great Humanitarian.

Cozying up to Epstein because Gates wanted something from one of his friends says a lot about Gates but maybe even more about the Nobel Committee 'friend'.

Hey that's a cool excuse run with it. Are you sure it couldn't be he didn't exactly disapprove of Ole Jeffry's proclivities? Seems independent of his time with Jeffery there is an established intersection of behavior. But hey go with the Nobel Peace Prize story that plays better than the Ignoble Piece angle.

#4, typical 2d grade headline writer: the grammar is out of whack and you can’t tell which antecedent goes with what. I THINK they were implying Ole Bill wanted Perv Jeff to help him (OB) get a Nobel prize. I think. Which brings up the point— If you beg and plead and are given a prize, is it really a prize? If you cheat and lie and live in the WH, are you really the President?

Is Gates trying to get a NP for Gates via Epstein, or is Gates thinking that Gates can get Epstein a NP? Neither of them is even remotely worthy of any sort of a prize. The incoming Justice Department civil rights chief has a history of opposing civil rights prosecutions of black defendants, opposing a complaint against an African-American Democratic leader who discriminated against white voters. As an NAACP lawyer, Kristen Clarke lambasted the Justice Department for bringing a complaint against an African-American party boss in Mississippi who worked to suppress white votes, according to a federal probe. On a separate occasion, a federal oversight commission investigated claims that Clarke worked with allies at the Justice Department to quash the prosecution of the Black Panthers who menaced voters outside a Philadelphia precinct in 2008.

Worried about loose rules amid a surge in the coronavirus crisis, Democrats have urged the National Park Service to stop or slow the reopening of facilities, citing concerns about the safety of employees, visitors, and neighboring communities. That is, except one: California Rep. TJ Cox.... In emails shared by the Interior Department with the House Natural Resources Committee, Cox’s staff sought two vehicle passes of the 340 available to the public for July 4. When he was told he’d have to wait in line like others, he pushed for “preferential treatment” to get them, according to a letter calling for an Interior Department investigation.
