Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a bill into law on Friday banning the teaching of critical race theory in public schools and universities. "Now more than ever, we need policies that bring us closer together – not rip us apart. As governor, I firmly believe that not one cent of taxpayer money should be used to define and divide young Oklahomans by their race or sex," Stitt, a Republican, said in a statement obtained by the Washington Examiner. The measure prohibits schools from teaching students that "one race or sex is inherently superior to another" and that "an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist

Let's hope there are some of the real penalties. Just prohibiting it won't work if there aren't real penalties.

Fire any teacher that does teach it in this state. We need to get serious and show these teachers and the teacher's Union that we mean business.

Looks like the Governors have decided to stop this in it's tracks. Our governor, DeSantis, stopped it a week or so ago. Since then there have been several more who have stepped up and said "absolutely not" to teaching our children to hate their own country! I hope all of the Red States will follow and do the same! I don't have any hope that any Blue States will stand against it!

Stitt is such a scoundrel that several states wouldn't allow him to run for governor. He managed it here in Oklahoma and honestly, he hasn't been that bad. I'm glad he signed that bill. If I had kids today they would not go to public school.

It’s not getting much play right now, but Canada is an absolute mess. In some parts of the country, the tyrannical mitigation measures put in place by the government to supposedly combat COVID-19 are so bad that they’d make New York blush. A dramatic new video has just been released by independent, conservative journalist Ezra Levant of Rebel News showing the arrest of a Christian pastor for “inciting” people to go to church. Apparently, a SWAT team was used to arrest him after he left his church service. The churchgoers had initially expelled the police from the church building, but they returned in force.

Going back to the late 1920s, every single child raised in America has intersected in some way with products from Walt Disney: We’ve watched the movies and TV shows, sung the songs, worn the clothes, and visited the theme parks. Through it all, Disney stood for wholesome family entertainment. That is no longer the case. Disney is a hardcore leftists corporation that is pushing its politics on children and training its employees to be white-hating racists or self-loathing white people. It’s time to give up Disney.

LONDON — Britain's governing Conservative Party made further inroads in the north of England on Friday, winning a special election in the post-industrial town of Hartlepool for a parliamentary seat that the main opposition Labour Party had held since 1974. Managing to present themselves as the party of change despite having led the U.K. for 11 years, Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservatives extended their grip on parts of England that had been Labour strongholds for decades, if not a century. Many of these seats that have flipped from red to blue voted heavily in 2016 for Britain’s departure from the European Union.

On Wednesday, Rep. It teaches Americans and members of the Armed Services to judge one another by the color of their skin instead of by the ‘content of their character.’

The Tennessee General Assembly has banned the teaching of critical race theory, passing a law at the very end of the legislative session to withhold funding from public schools that teach about white privilege. Republicans in the House made the legislation a last-minute priority, introducing provisions that ban schools from instructing students that one race bears responsibility for the past actions against another, that the United States is fundamentally racist or that a person is inherently privileged or oppressive due to their race. Similar proposals surfaced in other states this year, including one in Idaho that has been signed into law by the governor. Texas Republicans

As we previously reported, the jobs report came out today and it was a disaster for the Biden regime. Not only was it bad, it was so much lower than what they’d predicted it would be, Axios described it as the biggest miss in the history of the report. Their reactions to it immediately showed they had no understanding of what the problem was or why it was so bad — that at least in part, one has to consider that people are not returning to work because of the extension of the unemployment benefits. UK-based biotechnology firm Oxitec, which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, said it released the mosquitoes in six locations in Monroe County’s Florida Keys: two on Cudjoe Key, one on Ramrod Key, and three on Vaca Key. It’s part of an effort to help tackle a disease-transmitting invasive mosquito population—the Aedes aegypti mosquito species—that’s responsible for “virtually all mosquito-borne diseases transmitted to humans,” according to the company.

How the Brits Did It -Here’s why American conservatives should pay attention to the recent special election in Hartlepool, United Kingdom: The British Conservative Party has modernized and mobilized itself to win a parliamentary constituency that the Labour Party had held for nearly 60 years; indeed, the Conservative candidate won the seat on May 7 by more than 23 points. Now that’s a story worth paying attention to, with an eye toward our replicating it here. The parallels between American conservatives and British conservatives are strong and more recently even stronger, as the two parties have taken a populist, pro-worker, anti-globalist turn.
