Watch: Dramatic Video Shows SWAT Team Arresting
Pastor for 'Inciting' People to Attend Church

It’s not getting much play right now, but Canada is an absolute mess. In some parts of the country, the tyrannical mitigation measures put in place by the government to supposedly combat COVID-19 are so bad that they’d make New York blush. A dramatic new video has just been released by independent, conservative journalist Ezra Levant of Rebel News showing the arrest of a Christian pastor for “inciting” people to go to church. Apparently, a SWAT team was used to arrest him after he left his church service. The churchgoers had initially expelled the police from the church building, but they returned in force.

Those Canadians are crazy. They say "eh" after every statement. They love hockey. I must say their money is much prettier than in US, eh? But when it comes to religious churches and attendance in church, they are just plain nuts. This pastor will probably spend years in jail.

They know not God: “that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” — John 14:17 There is a vast swatch of humanity that have no clue about God and why we must worship Him. It is the way of the world to have a government run by political bigots such as liberals, leftists, and fascists, which are of the same mind, which is ignorance of God. This persecution will continue unabated until God, Himself, brings it to an End.

When you lose religious freedom, you have lost everything. Any government that shuts down churches is corrupt. I don’t see many Canadians making a fuss over this which is why it is happening. If it can happen in Canada, you know that the anti-Christian movement will want to start it here. I believe we are made of sterner stuff and they would not appreciate the overwhelming response they would get. Destroying families is the communist party’s number one goal and right behind that is shutting down churches. Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state. ~ Benito Mussolini This is the goal of communists and we know they are know sitting in the seat of power, illegitimately, but they are there.

These incidents will grow in number. All in the name of "public health". Shame on the churches who would not defy the capricious and unconstitutional lockdowns. I include my former church in that group - still plodding along with masks and protocols. The message will be clear: get vaccinated or else.

I agree, #10. The most shocking thing about this is that it happened in Calgary, Alberta. Alberta is Canada's equivalent of our Texas. The fact it's happening there is a 4-alarm, sirens-and-flashing lights warning that the anti-Christian attacks are right on our doorstep. These evil forces are clearly emboldened and are now openly attacking every foundation of our freedoms. This is much bigger than any political or even religious issue that can be settled at the ballot box. They're coming in for the kill. And we need to treat it as the truly existential threat that it is.

We know that the John Roberts Supreme Court is compromised and cowardly. Don't expect the courts in Canada to take a principled stand against this travesty. Ask Mark Steyn about the Canadian judiciary.

Inflation fears grow for White House 6 replies

Rising prices are putting increasing pressure on President Biden and the Federal Reserve to prevent inflation from derailing the recovery from the coronavirus recession. A surge of consumer demand unleashed by government stimulus, improving vaccinations and fewer pandemic restrictions is putting a strain on global supply chains. Manufacturers and other hard-hit industries are struggling to get back up and running after a year of lockdown measures, causing supply shortages and raising costs. All of those factors combined to push the consumer price index (CPI) up 0.8 percent in April and 4.2 percent over the past 12 months, the fastest annual rate since 2008

I’m sure most readers have seen this stunning photo from Israel from a few nights back, showing a Hamas rocket attack that was likely attempting to overwhelm Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system. The early reports on this photo didn’t make clear which was which; I assumed (correctly it turns out) that the missiles on the right are the Hamas rockets, and the unusual swirl pattern of the launches on the left are the Iron Dome interceptors. I have no technical expertise in the domain of missile defense, but the spatial pattern of the Iron Dome is probably explained as the complex

On Sunday, about a week into a budding war between Israel and Palestine, a CNN contributor in Pakistan by the name of Adeel Raja declared, “The world today needs a Hitler.” Raja has a long history of supporting the late Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, sometimes explicitly mentioning what Hitler did to the Jews — a reference to the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust. Raja has deleted the tweet, but Greg Price and Benny Johnson kept the receipts. CNN has yet to issue a formal statement on the matter. “The world today needs a Hitler,” Raja posted on Twitter Sunday afternoon.

A new report has found that Hollywood’s culture of bullying, abusive behavior, and employee mistreatment continues unabated despite high-profile scandals that have drawn widespread attention to the problem. Anita Hill’s Hollywood Commission reportedly released additional findings of its most recent survey on Friday, saying that assistants still bear the brunt of executive misbehavior, experiencing two to three times more bullying behavior than other types of workers. “Nowhere in Hollywood is the stark power differential more visible than between executives and their assistants. That dynamic drives higher levels of abuse among assistants across all kinds of entertainment work,” the study said, according to multiple reports.

As we previously reported, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) took out a building that they said contained Hamas military intelligence operation. It also contained offices for the Associated Press and Al Jazeera, among other media outlets. Prior to hitting the building, the IDF warned the media outlets and others in the building to get out before they took down the building. Some in media were upset that Israel took out the building. But as we noted, how could media not know that Hamas had an operation going on in the building, if they were sharing the building with them?

The New York Times has a remarkable story out this weekend that offers its typical “behind the scenes” construction of how the White House operates—in this case, under President Biden. While the story tries to soften the blows with lots of fluff and filler, it paints a devastating picture of Biden for the careful reader. It explains he has a quick temper, takes a long time to make decisions, and needs to be heavily propped up by staff to function. It reminds us that Biden is indeed a creature of the Senate, where he mostly attended hearings, made speeches, fiddled with legislation, and seldom made

Israel isn’t playing around with Hamas this time around. While terrorist apologists plead for “proportionality” now that they’ve messed around and found out, the Jewish state seems determined to do more. As of last night, rockets were still being launched at Tel Aviv, signaling no end to the conflict in sight. Part of the IDF’s campaign has included destroying buildings that Hamas uses for intelligence-gathering, and command and control. Once, such building happened to also be an office complex for Al Jazeera, the Qatari-funded, terrorist propaganda outlet. The Associated Press also had space there. After multiple warnings and a “knock bomb,” the building was evacuated. Then this happened.

Watch or read the mainstream media news and a constant theme they have been promoting incessantly since the election (and well before that) is of a divided Republican Party engaged in a civil war. Well, longtime political reporter and Politico columnist Jeff Greenfield took a look at that claim and described it as wishful thinking hogwash. Although Greenfield dislikes Trump and had plenty to trash Republicans on, he has been around long enough to know how easily liberals can be deceived into the smug comfort of false hope by the media. The very title of his column published on Wednesday reflected that opinion, "A GOP Civil War? Don’t Bet On It":

Joe Biden wants to present this image of himself as the congenial moderate who wants to unify everyone. As we’ve seen so far, his first few months have been anything but. It’s apparently not great for the folks working with him behind the scenes either. As we saw during the campaign, Biden lost his temper multiple times with voters and reporters, two groups you would think you’d be trying to court while you’re running, not yell or scream at. He called one girl a “dog-faced pony soldier,” insulted another man with “Look, fat,” even challenged a voter to “go outside” and told him that he was

By a ratio of five to four, Americans blame President Joe Biden for the migration crisis, despite the White House’s desperate effort to shift blame to former President Donald Trump, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey. The national numbers — 50 percent to 41 percent— have turned bad for Biden largely because swing-voting independent voters blame Biden over Trump by 56 percent to 33 percent, according to the May 9-10 survey of 1,000 likely voters by Rasmussen Reports. But 21 percent of Democrats also blame Biden, while only 15 percent of Republicans blame Trump. Interestingly, the poll showed a minimal gap between men and women.
