House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy moved Tuesday to formally censure Rep. Maxine Waters for her comments urging protesters to 'get more confrontational' depending on the outcome of the Derek Chauvin trial. The House voted to table, or kill, the effort on a party-line 216-210 party line vote. The result was to temporarily set aside an effort that would have served as a high-profile rebuke by the Congress, although lawmakers could still seek other measures. The move led to an immediate vote by Democrats to try to repeal the measure, which they are able to do on a simple majority.

Let's hope that evil witch Mad Maxine will be the cause of a mistrial.
The jury was clearly intimidated by the mobs and politicians and found the innocent officer guilty.
This is horribly wrong.

Perhaps if Minneapolis visited 216 districts votes would be different.

All counts, all jurors. Not a single question asked. You are telling me they were not intimidated and terrified for their and their families lives? Try again!

Agreed #4 All of the evidence should have resulted in questions and a longer deliberation.
I sat on a burglary trial jury which took a day to deliberate. Kinda like 12 Angry Men except I went into the jury room not guilty along with 4 others but other jury members presented the evidence better than the prosecution. At sentencing it was revealed the perp had a long history of burglary and a .When done, I couldn't believe I had been so naive.

Well, so much for the "shocking move" reported by Trending Politics earlier today that the dems would back the censure move. Let's not kid ourselves, folks - we're still a long way from the bottom. Did anyone really think that Chauvin would walk?

Chauvin was the 4th cop required to subdue this drug crazed Afro-Criminal. I would have used my boot....not my knee. St. Floyd was a 300 pound felon and every inch a

100 years ago when an African-American was on trial the circus in the media and outside the court would have been called a lynch mob.
The shoe is on the other foot now but the mob calling for blood was still a lynch mob.

Another faux outrage move by the collaborator clown McCarthy. The republicans are so brave when they know they have no chance of winning. Like any communist death democrat was ever going to censure one of their fellow comrades especially a monstrously ugly and evil black creature like Maxine Sewage Waters. Satan rules over us right now from DC.

The republicans are right where they want to be - in the minority. Now they can go back to their constituents and tell them they voted for it and lost and that they just need a little more money to take back the House and Senate - even though they don't want to.
We need term limits.

Yeah, and earlier today a couple un-named Democrats said they were going to vote to censure Maxine or maybe put her on Double-Secret Probation, or something like that.
Of course, when it came time to vote, they folded like a cheap suit and did what Nancy instructed them to do.

I never have understood DemocRATS. You'd think that something as cut and dried as censuring Mad Maxine, maybe 10 or 12 of them would vote to censure. But no - they always vote in lock-step like mindless robots.
I think to be a 'Rat, you have to be born with two genes - one for stupidity and one for evilness.

If, and it's a big if, the Republican take the house in 2022 I hope that McCarthy will remove the vile Waters, liar Schiff and China asset Swalwell from all committees. They, and others, should be kicked out of Congress but that will never happen. I fear that if the Republicans do win they will immediately launch into "reconciliation" mode. The Democrats will continue their treasonous activities unless they are punished. I doubt McCarthy is up to much.

Speaker McCarthy is going to have quite a to-do list in January, 2023:
1. Impeachment #1
2. Kick Omar out of Congress because of her anti-Semitism
3. Kick Swalwell off the Intelligence Committee (because "intelligence" and "Swalwell don't belong within 10 miles of each other)
4. Overturn any close election that the D wins
5. Get rid of Tlaib, just to raise the average IQ of the House
Anything else I may have forgotten?
