As riots rage on the streets of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, armed civilians were photographed standing guard outside a business to keep looters away. The riots are occurring one day after 20-year-old Daunte Wright was shot and fatally wounded by a Brooklyn police officer during a traffic stop. On Monday, Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon indicated the officer may have shot Wright accidentally. Townhall’s Julio Rosas posted a photo of rioters allegedly throwing projectiles at police: He explained that while police were focused on protecting the police building from one set of rioters, others were allegedly looting various stores at will.

Good for them. Since the police are unwilling or unable to provide the services for which they are paid, the owners reserve the right to do it themselves. Freedom wins.

You can take the man out of Africa but you can't take Africa out of the man. Brooklyn Center is a rapidly diversifying Minneapolis suburb. The new locals are trying to make it look more like the places they left than the place they moved to. Every culture has its own values and public architecture. For African Americans burned and looted is the look they go for. Burn the local grocery store down then complain about living in a food desert.

The only thing we really learned from the January 6 “insurrection” is that it is OK to shoot the first one through the door.

It worked for the LA riots when Korean Asians protected their businesses so it works again. Getting shot for a 40oz bottle of beer and sneakers is not a wise thing to attempt. Good for the armed citizens but it's coming around.

All of this could have been avoided if the people being arrested did what the police ordered them to do. This latest incident is a perfect example. The kid was driving with expired plates, so the cops pulled him over. Upon investigation, the police find the kid has a warrant out for his arrest. So they proceed to arrest him. Standard operating procedure for police. Now instead of doing what the police asked him to do, this clown fights with police, climbs back into the car, and tries to drive away. Now in this situation, what exactly are the police going to do? They're going to do their job, and try and stop him from getting away. That the officer pulls out her gun instead of the Tazer and fires was an accident, but it was an accident that was started by the kid not doing what the police ordered him to do. I have absolutely no sympathy for the kid. The officer however, will have to live the rest of her life knowing she made a mistake. This happened to a friend of ours who was a police officer confronting four teenagers breaking into a house. She confronted the teen driver behind the wheel of a Jeep, and ordered him to get out. Instead of getting out as ordered, he stepped on the gas and ran over Amy killing her. The four teens are now serving time.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) sent a letter last week to Vice President Kamala Harris, demanding the Biden Administration close the Health and Human Services Emergency Intake Site (EIS) for unaccompanied migrant children located at the Freeman Expo Center in San Antonio. In new developments, law enforcement sources say authorities are now looking at conditions at another facility in the Rio Grande Valley. A law enforcement source within CBP, speaking on a condition of anonymity, says Texas Rangers visited the Donna facility in recent days to investigate conditions. Rangers conduct major violent crime, public corruption, cold case, and officer-involved shooting investigations. They also oversee

Formally introducing his cabinet to the public, Joe Biden proudly declared: “This is the first [time] in American history that the cabinet looks like America.” Looking at the actual appointments and not just the gender, skin color, and ethnic origins of the Biden team, it is a team that may look like America but doesn’t think like America. In fact, it is a team whose outlook is anti-American. Take Biden’s vice-presidential choice, Kamala Harris, whose antipathy for America oozes from her every pore. At a February 2019 presidential campaign stop, for example, she said Columbus Day should be replaced with “Indigenous People’s Day”

Poor Walt. This man has probably turned over in his grave 100 times by now with all the antics of Disney. On Tuesday, April 13, Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro posted a blog on the Disney Parks website titled “A Place Where Everyone is Welcome,” because apparently they weren't very welcoming before, despite having Gay Days for 30 years. Right off the bat, you should have got the hint to grab a barf bucket for the spiel about "taking action to create meaningful change." The announcement included a video and narrative to explain the new addition to the longstanding tradition of The Four Keys: Inclusion.

Texas is turning blue. We know because that’s what we’re told. Despite Donald Trump winning the state in 2020 and the 10 Democratic targeted House races all ending up in Republican hands, the state is getting bluer all the time. We know because… well, if the media tells us Republicans are sinking and Texas is where the “evidence” will appear next, naturally, the race to succeed Rep. Ron Wright, who died of COVID-19 in February, will be the “canary in the coal mine” according to Politico. If the special election in Texas is any indication for 2022, the GOP’s ongoing identity crisis will leave it with a real mixed-bag of candidates

A group of top Democratic Party pollsters are set to release a public statement Tuesday acknowledging “major errors” in their 2020 polling — errors that left party officials stunned by election results that failed to come close to expectations in November. In an unusual move, five of the party’s biggest polling firms have spent the past few months working together to explore what went wrong last year and how it can be fixed. It’s part of an effort to understand why — despite data showing Joe Biden well ahead of former President Donald Trump, and Democrats poised to increase

Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani, former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, told Iranian media on Monday that the attack hit an electrical substation located deep underground and managed to damage both the power distribution system and the cable leading to the centrifuges in order to cut power to them. The Iranian official stressed that such an operation takes years, saying “the design of the enemy was very beautiful.”

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden has decided to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, 20 years to the day after al Qaeda's attacks triggered America's longest war, three sources familiar with the decision told Reuters. However, the withdrawal would be based on certain security and human rights guarantees, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity ahead of the formalization of the decision. The sources did not provide further details. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are expected to brief the decision to NATO allies in Brussels on Wednesday. Biden may also publicly announce his decision, the sources said.
