A number of major news organizations worldwide, ranging from Scientific American and The Columbia Journalism Review to The Guardian and Al Jazeera, have signed a pledge to begin referring to “climate change” as a “climate emergency” in their reporting. “Scientific American has agreed with major news outlets worldwide to start using the term ‘climate emergency’ in its coverage of climate change,” the publication announced Monday in a tweet to its 3.9 million followers touting “the impact we hope it can have throughout the media landscape.” “We Are Living in a Climate Emergency, and We’re Going to Say So,” the headline of a Scientific American commentary published Monday declares.

Dialing up the propaganda lies. There is almost no climate change that is detectable. Whatever MIGHT be happening is GOOD. Warmer is GOOD. More CO2 makes green plants thrive, crops grow better and faster. There is NO emergency, except that Americans are perceived by the Globalist Left to have too much freedom, too much comfort, too much wealth. All of that MUST be destroyed.

Look at the Statue of Liberty. If these forecasters had been correct, only the tip of the torch would be showing, and we would all have suffered heat stroke. These shameless, foolish storytellers haven’t the fortitude to admit the predictions were incorrect. Instead, they invent even more fantastic lies. Sells books, after all, and liberals have short recall and even shorter reasoning. Believe a book that predicted doom fifty years ago and believe it is still true. Otherwise, enjoy your beautiful weather.

They can call it the "climate Santa Clause", but that wouldn't make it any more factual. You would think a publication called "Scientific American" would do non-biased reporting of science. Silly me, it is probably infested with lie-berals, and they destroy everything they touch. Lie, cheat, steal, even kill -- anything is fair game if it promotes their lie-beral agenda which is never based on logic, reason, or facts. So never mind...

I gave up my decades long subscription to Scientific American in the 90s as they went off the rails on MMGW propaganda. They used to print some really interesting articles and I learned a lot, but they were taken over by the propagandists, as were most other scientific publications about that time. I got a National Geographic subscription when I was a teen, and kept it up into some time in the mid 90s, IIRC, when a new editor was brought on board. He announced in an editorial that they would be making sure to do all future articles from the view of the 'serious MMGW problem'. I canceled my 30+ year subscription the next day.

Formally introducing his cabinet to the public, Joe Biden proudly declared: “This is the first [time] in American history that the cabinet looks like America.” Looking at the actual appointments and not just the gender, skin color, and ethnic origins of the Biden team, it is a team that may look like America but doesn’t think like America. In fact, it is a team whose outlook is anti-American. Take Biden’s vice-presidential choice, Kamala Harris, whose antipathy for America oozes from her every pore. At a February 2019 presidential campaign stop, for example, she said Columbus Day should be replaced with “Indigenous People’s Day”

Texas is turning blue. We know because that’s what we’re told. Despite Donald Trump winning the state in 2020 and the 10 Democratic targeted House races all ending up in Republican hands, the state is getting bluer all the time. We know because… well, if the media tells us Republicans are sinking and Texas is where the “evidence” will appear next, naturally, the race to succeed Rep. Ron Wright, who died of COVID-19 in February, will be the “canary in the coal mine” according to Politico. If the special election in Texas is any indication for 2022, the GOP’s ongoing identity crisis will leave it with a real mixed-bag of candidates

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden has decided to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, 20 years to the day after al Qaeda's attacks triggered America's longest war, three sources familiar with the decision told Reuters. However, the withdrawal would be based on certain security and human rights guarantees, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity ahead of the formalization of the decision. The sources did not provide further details. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are expected to brief the decision to NATO allies in Brussels on Wednesday. Biden may also publicly announce his decision, the sources said.
