On the way out the door,
CNN’s Brooke Baldwin disses

In her final month on CNN before leaving her job (apparently her own decision), anchor Brooke Baldwin gave an hour long interview to a Ms. Magazine podcast that criticizes the cable news network that has employed her in prominent roles since 2008. As my source who tipped me to the story commented, “It’s a pretty interesting perspective from someone on the inside of the network and shows that things must be bad if she’s willing to speak out while still employed there.” In fact, things are bad at CNN – and getting worse.

a perfect example of a "state owned" ( privately owned ) communications system along with the other ""usual suspects" we fail to remember that Ted Turner was married to Jane Fonda so it's no wonder the network took the political slant it has in the recent past.

Well gosh. How enlightened of her. I’ve never heard of her but she is about to disappear down the rabbit hole and no one at CNN will remember her name in a month. If she is inspired by the Marxist co-founders of BLM I would point out that the rest of the country are not impressed and she is the type they hate the most. So good luck Brookie. You’re going to need it.

Simply being part of an organization that would employ a Don Lemon would be reason enough for me to leave. Going to work every day with a bitter and angry attitude must really drag a person down. The last time I remember CNN doing decent coverage was during the first gulf war so it's been a while. Sorry about your loss of that airport contract, you have made millions of airline passengers happier, or at least less annoyed.

Clickbait headline. She is leaving because the power structure at CNN is all white men, and she feels that the network would be much more ably-run with more women at the helm, particularly women of color. Blah, blah, blah. I have worked all my life, since I was 14 yrs old. I’ve worked for men and women, and I can tell you that the women can be every bit as bad as the men, sometimes worse, because they are trying to prove how tough they are.

I don’t know who this woman is either, but she makes CNN’s problem all about too many men. Maybe so - too many liberal men? It’s the slant. The women she mentioned are all liberal - so if she was in charge and CNN things still wouldn’t change, simply be more shrill.

Ruling class members are starting to state out loud the heretofore tacit punitive anti-White discrimination they seek in order to atone for ‘structural racism. On Tuesday, alleged comedian Samantha Bee and disgraced “journalist” Dan Rather talked about how it’s impossible to mock Biden for fear of undermining his policies. One day later, Jimmy Fallon did a small segment about Biden that was the equivalent of those old (and enjoyable) “bad lip reading” videos. Some think that the bloom is off the rose for the left, but I’m not so certain. Call me cynical, but I think that this is the first step in “The Ascension of Kamala Harris.” For eight years, America’s so-called comedians brutally ridiculed and mocked President George W. Bush. Then, for eight years, the same crew didn’t touch Obama.

The trial of Derek Chauvin grinds on. Currently, the prosecution is still putting on its case, but it may want to stop doing so before the court is forced to dismiss the case altogether. As Andrew Branca, at Legal Insurrection, explained after the eighth day of the trial, “once again, the defense weaponizes prosecution ‘expert’ witness against the prosecution case.” But if you want the full flavor of the madness in Minneapolis, you must read Ann Coulter’s case summary. (snip) if the jurors wish to live, the mob has already told them they’d better find Chauvin guilty. The problem is that the prosecution’s witnesses are destroying the case.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has made some interesting statements in recent weeks about the Fed’s view of inflation. In summary, Chairman Powell has stated that overall inflation remains below the Fed’s 2% long-term objective, and that while reopening of the economy could produce price increases later in the year, inflationary pressures from rising prices are likely to be neither large nor persistent. Given the transient nature of these effects, and a long history of deflationary pressures in the U.S. and around the world, Chairman Powell believes that inflation isn’t something to worry about.
