Teachers’ union head blames Jews

It’s finally come to this, the last refuge for scoundrels in need of scapegoats. It’s the Jooooz who are responsible for all the problems over school reopening. Don’t let the ethnic “identity” of the accuser confuse you. (If the word ‘kapo’ means nothing to you, ask someone who knows about Hitler’s death camps.) The world’s oldest hate springing back to its accustomed status as an all-purpose excuse of villains. (snip) Union leader Randi Weingarten criticized Jews as "part of the ownership class" dedicated to denying opportunities to others in an interview released on Friday.

Corruption runs deep in the Deep State, deep into the leader of the Teachers Union. The Deep State wants total control over everyone. The Deep State will stop at nothing. Even a Jew laying the blame on other Jews. Shame on Weingarten.

Because of the Holocaust, it is nearly impossible to speak sensibly about negative impacts that some Jews may be perceived to visit on our society. Randi Weingarten, herself a prominent Jew, blames Jews for the alarming societal decay we witness and, in so doing, becomes a device by which non-Jews generalize the causes of their worries and frustrations and join in to blame Jews. It is not wrong to think critically and courageously about the wellsprings of problems but it is wrong to go further to the step of hurting people rather than engaging them or refusing to do business with them. Not unrelated but just an observation: One good old American ethic we have lost with the huge influx of people from disparate cultures is the skill of minding our own business.

From the original Jerusalem Post article, Weingarten is a married to the Lesbian Rabbi of an LGBT synagogue. Didn't know there was such a thing. Weingarten then explains her view of the role of religion: She says religion represents striving for a “more just place, a place that is kinder, that is gentler, a place where we teach our children that from generation to generation, we will do better, and we will be kinder, and we will be more just to the stranger as well as to the family.” Note that her view of religion, like that of all Leftists, lacks any mention of morality. You don't hear that word much anymore.

#2 FYI, I saw a name on the van "Torley" and googled it. Torley was the largest maker of sparkling wine in Hungary before WWII. I assume that the photo relates to a round up of Hungarian Jews by the Nazis.

How in the world does the economic success of Jewish immigrants relate to the unions closing schools? Does Korean immigrant success do the same thing? Irish immigrant success - - Italians, Poles, Indians, Germans, Jamaicans - - are they also responsible for school closings? This witch is an insane communist - - but I repeat myself - - an insane, hateful, evil communist - - as they all are.

So where's Kamala Harris, Joe Biden's border crisis project manager? Looks like she's in Chicago, getting "a snack," according to White House spokesweasel Jen Psaki. Such is the simplified summary of the state of things, based on a snapping, flippant reply by the latter to a question from a New York Post reporter. (snip) It was obviously done for the cameras, given that it was a South Side Chicago bakery, which was likely black-owned. The idea, of course, was to demonstrate that Harris, far from being a rich elitist scion of a Jamaican-origin Stanford professor dad, and an India-born professor/researcher mom

On April 6th, North Las Vegas mayor John Lee announced that he is no longer associated with the Democratic Party and has, instead, switched his affiliation to the Republicans. The mayor explained on "Fox and Friends," “In the Democratic Party of Nevada, they had an election recently for leadership, and four of the five people were card-carrying members of the socialistic party. It’s not the party that I grew up with 25 years ago in this environment, and it’s not the party that I can stand with anymore.” This sentiment expresses what many Americans have experienced

On Tuesday, alleged comedian Samantha Bee and disgraced “journalist” Dan Rather talked about how it’s impossible to mock Biden for fear of undermining his policies. One day later, Jimmy Fallon did a small segment about Biden that was the equivalent of those old (and enjoyable) “bad lip reading” videos. Some think that the bloom is off the rose for the left, but I’m not so certain. Call me cynical, but I think that this is the first step in “The Ascension of Kamala Harris.” For eight years, America’s so-called comedians brutally ridiculed and mocked President George W. Bush. Then, for eight years, the same crew didn’t touch Obama.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has made some interesting statements in recent weeks about the Fed’s view of inflation. In summary, Chairman Powell has stated that overall inflation remains below the Fed’s 2% long-term objective, and that while reopening of the economy could produce price increases later in the year, inflationary pressures from rising prices are likely to be neither large nor persistent. Given the transient nature of these effects, and a long history of deflationary pressures in the U.S. and around the world, Chairman Powell believes that inflation isn’t something to worry about. He has just concluded a 60-day series of “listening sessions” dealing with the question of how he should go about the task of cleansing the armed forces of bad thoughts and is now ready to begin implementing programs and policies to that end. But Austin has a huge problem. Joe Biden may have been something like a moderate, once. As a senator, he defended the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life taxpayers from footing the bill for something they consider to be murder. Senator Biden also voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in 1993. Even as late as 2003, Biden voted for a bill to prohibit partial-birth and late-term abortion. Biden did indeed work with Republicans to pass legislation. In 1987, Biden condemned Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s scheme to pack the Supreme Court to support the New Deal.
