Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), who was a prominent Atlanta preacher before he was elected to the Senate, deleted a tweet on Easter Sunday that drew allegations of heresy.
“The meaning of Easter is more transcendent than the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Warnock wrote in the tweet posted Sunday morning. “Whether you are Christian or not, through a commitment to helping others we are able to save ourselves.” The comment from Warnock, who was a pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, where Martin Luther King Jr. preached, landed the senator in hot water. Warnock received a defense from MSNBC host Joy Reid

The right Reverum can call himself a Christian. But unless he is accepting of Christ’s work on the Cross, CALLING himself a Christian doesn’t make him one.
I call myself a supermodel, too.

Try saving yourself from Hell and let me know how that works out. You disavow Jesus and guess what. He disavows you to His Father. Have a nice time with Satan and the Fallen Angels. Where you are going will be perfect because God does not exist there. You will be right at home.

Someone should remind Raphael Warnock that God is far more strict when judging members of the clergy. And that goes for Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright as well.

Warnock's words are coming from a duly unelected senator, who got into office by election fraud.

I don't believe, even for a second, either of those dolts won a fair and honest election. If that gap toothed idiot was involved, there was fraud committed...

Yep. That was herasy. Christ's recreation is the greatest mystery of the Christian faith from which all others; faith, charity, forgiveness, sacrifice, etc., derive.

I’m not remotely surprised. The Revrum Jackson once referred to Mary and Joseph as a homeless couple and that if Mary had had “choice” she could have had an abortion. And no, I am NOT making that up.

As a Catholic, his comments are wrong, wrong, wrong! I guess he missed the part where Jesus says, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Me?" I wonder what his congregation thinks about his statement? I know what Baptists believe. I used to be one. They are Blood-bought believers. No way are they buying into his statements.

Sheer heresy, by any other name! If it wasn’t, why did he delete it?
No wonder Jerry Nadler said from the chair that God’s Will had no place in Congress. The Dems are all heathens. If they are not, get out now while you still can. For your external soul, GET OUT!
