The Case for American Femininity

Almost 225 years ago to the day, Abigail Adams counseled her husband to “Remember the Ladies.” Her tone in their correspondence was playful, yet serious. Treat women as friends rather than vassals or else we will “foment a Rebelion,” she teased, or was it warned? She appealed to the principles of equality and consent of the governed with charming pluck. Hers was a great example of spirited femininity, which combines Americanism and femininity. It is both cultivated by and protective of American principles.

Well said, Ms. Hafera. Compassion and kindness are not weakness. 'Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.' Proverbs 31:10.

I think this country has gone too far in appeasing femininity. The constant drum beat of girls and women are special, has created woman who think they can do no wrong, and that they are always right. Spoiled brats and entitled comes to mind when listening to, and watching some of these female public officials. They are all so special. The country moving toward socialism/communism is a direct result of too many women being elected to public office, and giving women way too much influence in how public affairs are run. Notice it's the women that are leading this head long drive toward becoming a banana republic all based on feelings instead of common sense and law.

#2, I think you are confusing feminism and femininity. They are very different. Feminism destroys! Femininity does not. It allows women to be women with all their strengths politely displayed. Our mothers were feminine yet in many cases ran their households in conjunction with their husbands. Feminists degrade and disparage men.

The problems of the world have not been improved by empowering women. Nothing against women. They should have equal rights and opportunities. It is just that once the mystery has worn off, the world is discovering they are no better, or worse than men. A person is not greater because of their sex, but because they are great. BTW, no person made themselves greater by putting others down. Please stop and desist the canceling of white males. They have done nothing to you. No ones lives have been impaired by pictures of them appearing in commercials, or on the sides of cereal boxes.

In case anyone unconditionally believes in women’s wisdom, take a look at the pictures of the ladies who marched against Trump, wearing pussy hats.

I mark the draining of the feminine bottle to Anita Hill and Hillary Clinton. Hill began the workplace poisoning and Clinton cut her hair butch style and donned those ghastly dark pantsuits.

It was quite jarring to go back and forth between Ukraine, Russia and other former soviet states and the USA in the early 2000s. The women there were still very interested in dressing nicely, in fashionable clothes and with nice hairdo, basically just looking really nice, taking care of themselves to look good. Then come back to the USA and a huge portion of the 20-30 year old women are in stylishly ripped jeans, a hoodie with a ball cap on backwards and greasy, unkempt hair. Not to mention the large portion of the USA girls who are 30-60 lbs overweight, too. And the tattoos......yikes. Just gross. There is a TV show which my wife likes about "picking" old stuff for a sort of antique store. One cast member is a woman, covered in ugly tattoos. I literally cringe every time she comes on screen without full sleeves and high collars. I bought flowers for my wedding anniversary recently and the very nice, friendly, helpful and pretty 20ish young lady did a really fine job with customer service.....but I couldn't help but being repelled by her arms covered with tattoos and that she was 40+ lbs overweight in skin tight pants. Without the tattoos and 40 lbs lighter she would be really an attractive young lady. I know several men who went to great trouble and expense to travel to other countries to find a nice looking woman who wanted to be a wife and mother, not a drinking buddy and a feminist activist.

This is a wonderful article, and I agree with OP's suggestion that it should be read by every young woman. The Marxist Left hijacked the women's movement by hijacking the 2nd annual conference of the then new National Organization of Women. Betty Freidan embraced the abortion issue and rammed it through the convention late at night with the help of dozens of young radical feminists from the eastern women's colleges. When the abortion plank won, over half of the original founding members of NOW walked out and left the organization. Those women went on to found true women's groups like the Susan B. Anthony List and the pro-life movement, without the support of the enemedia enjoyed by the radicalized NOW. Through this media manipulation the nation's women were seduced by the false "equality" promised by the radical feminists. There are amazing women working today to bring back the feminine ideal; urging women to reclaim their womanhood. American womanhood, as described in the article, is strong and courageous. It recognizes the inherent characteristics of women are not weaknesses, as trumpeted by the Left, but our strengths. As God ordained, women and men have different roles and therefore different strengths and both are needed to form complete humanity united in marriage and blessed by children. The family unit is the personification of The Trinity on earth, constantly creating new life. The communist destroyers targeted the family first by making women believe their fulfillment would be found in careers outside the home, instead of the career of home and family. They promoted the lie that women can have everything all at the same time, when the truth is women can have everything sequentially, marriage and children first then a career. This option is never presented or promoted. Only women can reclaim our femininity and we can easily begin by presenting our femininity. Remember, life's more fun in a dress!

Apple and several retail trade groups continued lobbying policymakers in the first quarter of this year on a bill to prohibit American firms from using Chinese forced labor, according to disclosures filed with Congress this week. Apple paid Fierce Government Relations, a Washington, D.C. firm, $90,000 to lobby the House and Senate on multiple pieces of legislation, including the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, according to Fierce’s lobbying disclosure filing. The tech giant also paid $90,000 to Invariant LLC, another Beltway-based firm, to work on several bills and to monitor “legislative action on workforce and supply chains in China.”

It would be funny if the stakes were not so high, but political differences within families seem to fall along the same lines as party differences. Who could have predicted that all those Trump haters who swore they would never submit to a vaccine that President Trump had brought to market with Operation Warp Speed are those who now are lining up like bleating sheep to get vaccines that are experimental? Or that millions of those who support the former President are much more likely to be wary of the four vaccines now available?

When corporations pick one political party over another, it's time to take sides with your feet and your money. This spark was lit in the state of Georgia when major companies joined the woke destroyers of America. It was bad enough when Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines joined the feeding frenzy over Georgia's legal right to hold transparent and honest elections, an anathema for a Democrat party looking to advance a voting system void of voter identification.

"Either the Constitution matters and must be followed . . . or it is simply a piece of parchment on display at the National Archives."— Texas v. Pennsylvania et al.   Texas v. Pennsylvania et al. did not deny setting rules for the 2020 election contrary to the Constitution. On December 10, 2020, the Supreme Court discounted that. By refusing to interfere as America’s ruling oligarchy serves itself, the court archived what remained of the American republic’s system of equal justice. That much is clear. In 2021, the laws, customs, and habits of the heart that had defined the American republic since the 18th century are things of the past. Americans’ movements and interactions are under strictures for which no one ever voted. Government disarticulated society by penalizing ordinary social intercourse and precluding the rise of spontaneous opinion therefrom. Correction*
