Welcome to the White House, Marcia Fudge. A week after she was sworn in as President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, ethics experts told the Washington Post that the former Democratic Congress member from Warrensville Heights may have violated a law called the Hatch Act by answering questions about Ohio politics at a Thursday White House press conference At the end of an appearance to discuss the American Rescue Plan’s effects on housing, Fudge was asked whether she’d weigh in on Ohio races to succeed her in Congress and to succeed retiring U.S. Sen. Rob Portman.

The iconic Lakerman warned you people about Marcia Fudge. She is the inept product of the Voting Rights Act, and is a dim bulb. When Andrew Cuomo finished screwing up (no pun intended) HUD in the 1990s, eight billion dollars was missing, and unauditable. Marcia will make him look like a penny ante player, in my opinion. Dementia Jo's handlers could have drawn a name at random, and the person would have been a better choice to head HUD. Even Monica Lewinsky would be better as head.

Not content with glorifying pedophilia in Cuties, Netflix in season three of the animated Paradise P.D. features an episode that, according to NewsBusters, is not only devoted to “attacking gun rights,” but was also “blasphemous against Christianity, featuring a video of a gun-wielding Jesus that turns into a porno.” Great, Netflix! Edgy! Courageous! Cutting edge! Stunning and brave! Now, when is your cartoon show featuring, say, a machete-wielding Muhammad who takes up with a nine-year-old Aisha?

After weeks of uninhibited partying on South Beach by spring breakers, police turned away throngs of people — many of them Black — from world-famous Ocean Drive with a SWAT truck, pepper balls and sound cannons. The tactics were intended to enforce an 8 p.m. curfew announced only hours earlier on Saturday to rid the city of what police and politicians have described as unruly and sometimes violent late-night crowds. [SNIP] But the use of force to clear out people of color from South Beach alarmed some Black leaders.

Soldiers "from every echelon" of the US military have been openly questioning why last year's violent BLM and Antifa riots weren't treated like the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, a comparison which has flown sideways up the ass of the military's top enlisted leader, Chief Master Sergeant Ramón "CZ" Colón-López. In a Thursday briefing at the Pentagon, Colón-López (CZ) told reporters that some troops have asked "How come you're not looking at the situation that was going on in Seattle prior to that? [Jan. 6 riot]" "This is coming from every echelon that we're talking to," CZ added.

Tara Reade has blasted 'arrogant' Joe Biden for calling for an investigation into sexual harassment claims made against Gov. Andrew Cuomo - while flatly dismissing the allegations she made against him. Reade, 56, went public last year, claiming Biden sexually assaulted her in a hallway while she was working as a Senate staffer in 1993. Biden vehemently denied the claim - but that hasn't stopped him from saying that all women should be believed.

Major left-leaning U.S. press outlets are largely avoiding mention of President Joe Biden's repeated stumbles as he boarded Air Force One, while many foreign publications are devoting prominent coverage to the incident. As of Friday afternoon, the homepages of MSNBC, CBS News, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and New York Times had no mention of Biden's stumbling incident earlier in the day at Joint Base Andrews. The news blackout was not strictly partisan, with the homepage of right-leaning One America News Network also omitting any mention of Biden's repeated tripping.

Biden felt three times as he scaled the stairs to Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews. Biden tried jogging up the stairs to board Air Force One en route to Atlanta and fell hard on his knee. When he arrived in Atlanta, he visited the Atlanta headquarters of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to thank public health workers amid the coronavirus pandemic and claimed that “science is back”, though he did not state where or how the science went missing. Biden wrapped up his pep talk to the agency with a lengthy anecdote about meeting with then-VP Xi Jinping.

If President Biden makes good on a recent White House promise that he'll field questions from a roomful of reporters for the first time this coming Thursday, he will be doing so on his 65th day since taking office. Saturday marked the 60th consecutive day the nation’s 46th president did not do a news conference with the White House press corps.
