Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd on Sunday said it has agreed to buy Kansas City Southern for US$25 billion in a cash-and-shares deal to create the first rail network connecting the United States, Mexico, and Canada, betting on a pick-up in North American trade. The deal would create the first U.S.-Mexico-Canada railroad, offering a single integrated rail system connecting ports on the U.S. Gulf, Atlantic and Pacific coasts with overseas markets.

Smart buy considering Xiden's nixing of the Canadian/US pipeline. #1's question is worth pursuing. I don't take anything on face value anymore.

CP owns a good deal of Canadian crude, they want to own the means of getting it to Market by getting access to Gulf of Mexico ports. A smart move on CP's part.

Globalists, taking more and more of the control of fundamental US infrastructure outside of the USA. Canadian National already owns most of the railroads in the entire SE USA and much of the midwest. So, now, CPRR will own a huge swath of American railroads. Foreign companies should not be permitted to own large American infrastructure like this. Two Canadian (globalist) companies now will control a very large part of our rail shipments. Canadian National was a totally Canadian government owned railway until relatively recently.

The big Canadian railways were built by British interests in the old days. Who knows if those British interests control them today, along with the Canadians. There may be a problem because the rival Burlington Northern railroad is owned by Warren Buffett who is a big time old line liberal Democrat, and as such may have the go-power through Democrat politics to stop this merger. The Burlington-Northern was also the major competitor of the now defunct Canadian owned and operated Keystone Pipeline and you can see what happened to that pipeline as soon as the Democrats took over in DC.

This year has been a tremendously difficult year. Covid-19 was – and remains – scary and awful. For so many New Yorkers, what has also been awful over the last year has been watching the destruction of New York City – undoubtedly in large part because of a pair of egomaniac buffoons: Mayor Bill De Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo. New York City is a fragment of itself – abandoned stores and empty streets. The city that used to never sleep is in a slumber.

Democrats fight for the people. And by the people, they mean the oppressed and downtrodden working classes of the swamp. [SNIP] "Rice, who is among the wealthiest members of the Biden White House team, dramatically increased her wealth since her previous White House job during the Obama administration, reporting between $36 million and $149 million in various assets in her new disclosure filing released Saturday morning. That's nearly three to four times the amount she reported back in 2009, when she joined the Obama administration as the ambassador to the United Nations."

Here's a snapshot of why these violent assaults keep happening. And why they're happening so often in California and New York, in areas where crime has essentially been legalized. The upsurge in store robberies in California was driven by pro-crime measures that essentially legalized shoplifting. Now the Democrats want to all but legalize robbery. "A bill proposed by an East Bay Senator with the intent to revise the penal code is getting a lot of attention, as critics say it would essentially re-classify violent robberies to misdemeanor petty thefts. This has sparked outrage from members of the Asian American community."
