It's truly amazing just how many times I've heard godless, Christian-hating liberals speaking for God.

I've had arguments with a few when it comes to religion. It usually ends up with them saying, "Well... Thats not how MY God would act!"

I used to mock this kind of ignorance, but now it truly gives me a physical fear for the person, in the pit of my stomach. He probably goes to a place that calls itself a church, like a United Methodist Church, that teaches that this mushy god they have conjured up is truly God. And those false teachers are condemned but sadly so is Don Lemon.
May he be rescued by the God of mercy and light. May He show the power of the true gospel in this man’s life.

Libs believe God is a fantasy designed by humans, and therefore fantasize God to their own, often sick and twisted standards. A Christian counselor acquaintances of mine had a shuddering experience with an employee who turned out to be a pedophile; the pervert was justifying his acts with Mathew 19:14, and believing he was Biblically justified.

He is so preoccupied with being pretty on camera that his brain has withered away from lack of use. Of course he and other God hating liberals/deniers are going to say this because they have to. If they acknowledge the Vatican has a point, they have to admit they are sinners of some of the worst kinds.
Says right in the OT, that God loves ALL His creation, but He does not support their sins. Sin is a stench to God's nostrils.

The One who came among us who was the Son of God had a different view.
His words have been given to us in the New Testament.
He will judge, not you.
And His judgment is against you.
To whom will you appeal?

One should not confuse the patience of God while He is waiting for repentance, with His refusal or inability to judge.

God tells us, humans, to not be judgmental. That is not the same thing as ;judging', BTW. We HAVE to judge or we will not be able to tell the difference between right and wrong, honest or dishonest, friend or foe. Being judgmental means looking down upon someone as inferior in order to prop one's self up.
That is EXACTLY what Lemon is doing here. He is, by issuing his statement, being judgemental.
As for God... 'vengeance is Mine says the Lord'. He is Judge of all. No injustice will escape His judgment.
For those who believe in Christ, God's judgment upon THEIR sin is not overlooked... but rather it is placed on the Person of Christ. God fully accounted for 'the sins of the world' when Jesus cried out 'My God, My God... why have You forsaken Me?'. At that moment, every evil act ever committed in the history of all mankind was accounted for and judged and Christ stood in my place... and in your place as the atoning Lamb of God.
This is absolutely NOT God overlooking sin and being non-judgemental. It is God judging it all at once and, for those who trust Him in this matter, imparting forgiveness for all past, present and future sins one might commit.
If Don Lemon would only read his Bible. He might actually find some Good News in it.

God truly loves us. If you understand that, then His hatred of sin makes perfect sense.
Sin harms and degrades us, so God hates it. It's really that simple.

We mere humans cannot begin to comprehend what God IS (I AM). We personify Him in desperate attempts to soothe our conscience. Lemon would likely suggest that everyone take the Covid vaccine "just in case" but won't apply that caution to his immortal soul.

When my parents died, I received all of their many copies of the Holy Bible. I gave most of them to a nephew who was studying to become a minister. I still have a few real bibles and would be happy to share one with ''Reverend Lemon'' so he could read the actual words to confirm what he preaches. Or not.

Even if you are not a believer in any part of the Christian Bible, find me one religion, any real religion that has been practiced by more than a tiny cult or obscure tribe for more than 100-150 years that doesn't have a god that is the final arbiter of the fate of mankind? It's a feature of religions the wide world over. The last person I would take spiritual and moral advice from is Don Lemon.

Holy Scripture says that we a born into this world as sinners. Sinners by nature. Children are not held accountable until they are old enough, to be. Obviously, to be referred to as a sinner by nature is very offensive, it is polar opposite of our pride, which tells us we are all pretty good people, but it's easier than we think, to fall into that classification, when it really doesn't take that much to sin. God also says, by nature, we are in rebellion of Him. When that is examined, it means we are living separated lives from God. Living separated from God, is nothing more that putting our faith in anything and everything but God. Those things can be self, money, position, influence, an idol or false god, psychics, spiritualism, voodoo, mediums, government, a particular leader, country, or anything else that we might depend on to provide and protect us. Christians do trust in many of those things too, but ultimately, never put them before God, knowing that all these things are subject to God's will, and can change any second.
By admission, Don Lemon has created his own god that happens to agree with him (how convenient). That can be classified as idolatry, and since every created god is subject to its creator, Don's god turns out to be himself. In the end, Don is in rebellion of God. A sin, that if not corrected, will keep him separated from God throughout eternity.
BTW, Don should be thankful there are still many Christians in this nation and around the world. Just imagine what life in America would be like if there were no Christians, fighting to keep our Judeo/Christian values relevant. Truth is, we are starting to see what it would be like, when the ungodly take over. The rights given to us by God, are quickly vanishing.
PRAY FOR THEM!

God is our designer and creator, and its no stretch of the imagination that God can CHANGE us. That means God can take away or change our sinful nature anytime he wants. Most likely he waits for us to ask first.
Here's the rub. If you want to live under God's roof as it were, you will be expected to follow God's rules. That means no sin. You want to live with God? God will take away your sin first. What better way for God to demonstrate his nature?
You would rather keep your sin? Well, you cannot live with God then, and God has a place setup for all the people that have chosen to keep their sin. Its not a nice place. Its full of monsters. People with no love and no conscience. We see monsters in the news every day. Would you like to live together with them all in one place for eternity? Its a nasty place. That's where you will end up if you keep your sinful nature. You change your mind, and want to leave? Can't do that without God's help. The other people there won't let you leave. Its run much like one giant brutal prison. God might show his mercy, and take people out that want to leave. Maybe God expects all of us to repent and come to him of our own free will. There is nothing better than God after all, and what better demonstration of God's nature and power if all of his creations eventually come to him.
Will God judge? Definitely. He knows who has given up their sin and who has kept it.

In the Lord's own words;
Jeremiah 17:9-11
"The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
I, the LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
To give to each person according to his ways,
According to the results of his deeds.
As a partridge that hatches eggs which it has not laid,
So is a person who makes a fortune, but unjustly;
In the middle of his days it will abandon him,
And in the end he will be a fool."
The last word speaks of you, Don.

The Remnants 3/16/2021 2:45:39 PM (No. 725647)
The first time the word "Covenant" appears in the Bible is in Genesis, Chapter Nine, when God spoke to Noah and his family after the flood.
"... I establish my Covenant with you; no thing of flesh shall be swept away again by the waters of the flood. There shall be no flood to destroy the earth again.
God said, 'Here is the sign of the Covenant I make between myself and you and every living creature with you for all generations: I set my bow [rainbow] in the clouds and it shall be a sign of the Covenant between me and the earth. When I gather the clouds over the earth and the bow appears in the clouds, I will recall the Covenant between myself and you and every living creature of every kind. And so the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all things of flesh. When the bow is in the clouds I shall see it and call to mind the lasting Covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is found on the earth.',,,"
No only does God make judgments; He's created a sign for us [a rainbow] to remind us that He keeps His promises.
