The pandemic that has slammed the global economy continues to take a toll on former President Donald Trump's personal wealth – with a steep drop of hundreds of millions compared to a year ago.Trump's total wealth is now estimated at $2.3 billion, according to the Bloomberg billionaire's index. That is down from $3 billion before he took office. Trump famously announced he would step away from his real estate and branding empire, putting it in the hands of his adult sons Don Jr. and Eric, along with a Trump Organization executive when he took office – despite calls by public interest groups that he sell.

Unlike #44 and #46, Trump's intention was not to use the Oval Office as an enrichment tool. He was for America.

All the slimeball leftist pols - - 0bama, Xi-den, Pelosi, Feinstein, Reed, etc. - - get rich while "serving" in public office. But President Trump gets poorer.
Remind me now - - who are the corrupt criminals - - and who is the completely honest man?

If he had been re-elected he would be down to $1.9 billion. I'm sure he was relieved! /S

Trump, the Cincinnatus of the West.
The rest of them stole when they left the door open for their comrades. So, engorged like ticks they can strut around pontificating on behalf of the people that organized the theft, who only needed someone to sign the bill. Why don't they just elect a rubber stamp?

And pray tell, why does the DM feel such a burning desire to publish such an article? Oh, I know. They want Republicans to know that they can expect their bank accounts to dwindle under the new Communist regime. If we don't "get with the program," we will find ourselves in the poor house or in jail.

Interesting that they take note that the man who came to the presidency a billionaire is worth less as he leaves.
Where were the stories of those (Clinton and Obama come to mind) who came to the presidency veritable paupers and left as multi-millionaires? Especially when they were not particularly bright or successful while as President.
I think that this is the real reason behind the insane hatred of Trump. Can you imagine the shock that Hillary's donors got? All that money and no payback. They could NOT let that happen again. Biden is delivering the payback his in every EO he signs.

Not to worry. After the President follows through and buys Greenland, he will be in fat city.

President Trump was not able to run his business empire for the last 4 years. Just wait - once he’s back in the CEO chair for a few months his wealth will skyrocket.

Maybe hotels have been unfilled for about a year? Real estate, especially office space, is being unused and leases are not being renewed?
The measure of a businessman is how he builds things back up when the crisis is over. President Trump has done that over and over as real estate has gone from boom to bust and back again.

When have those public interest groups called for Democrat politicians to sell their business interests? (They haven't even mumbled when Dems have gone from broke to millionaire while in office, who are we kidding?)

Well if Airy and Sparkle can use a gofundme page, let's start one for Trump and see if he gets more than $110./s
