Former Vice President Al Gore said on Monday on CNN’s “Tonight” that Republicans believed that the United States “would be better if the wealthy and powerful” voted.Lemon said, “The next big battle, you know it is going to be over the GOP to restrict voting rights. A lot of these bills target Black and brown voters. Is this only going to get worse as demographics continue to change and Republicans are increasingly in the minorities? Is their effort is going to pick up to disenfranchise voters, especially those of color?”Gore said, “Absolutely. This is really and truly un-American Don. This is a naked effort trying to suppress Black, brown

It must be hard to go through life that stupid and that evil all at the same time. But Al Gore has mastered the art of being stupid and evil.
But it seems like that is pretty much how all Lie-Berals are these days, so that doesn't make him special. It just makes him stupid and evil!!!

One errs if one believes such statements are made out of ignorance.
These statements are made for their agit-prop value, to stir the discontents of the ignorant. ...Which are never in short supply.
Vice-president Gore doesn’t say things like this because he thinks they’re true; he says them knowing they are false, to agitate both the base and the opposition.
Democrats appear to believe they know truths that cannot be expressed adequately to the common man in plain language, and must be clothed in misrepresentation.
It is a variant on Rousseau, who spoke on the purity of humanity left in its natural state, before the corruptions of society; as opposed to the theory of Original Sin, an evolutionary postulate that we’re all born as acquisitive, homicidal primates in need of governance.
The liberal mindset is that their rectitude is of that greater, purer kind; that the dictates of, say, a Constitution, are mere relics of a manifestly corrupt antecedent, conceived by a cohort of DWMs (Dead White Males), now transcended by progressive— yet untested and largely indefinite— ideals.
It’s just a happy coincidence that these values when commodified into, say, carbon credits, accrue to Vice-president Gore’s remuneration.
Just for the record, black and brown citizens of any income level can get identification for voter registration. .

Wrong! I doubt if Al Gore has ever heard a Republican say that.
If he had actually asked, he would find that we believe that the poor and the impotent should vote for Republicans.

No... Those of us who care about that sort of thing, believe that voters should have skin in the game. If you dont pay taxes, how do you qualify?
Someone who stands to benefit off the hard work of others will only vote for candidates who continue to send largess, using government's power, their way. And i include the donor class in this.
Many among the Rich and Powerful dont qualify, either.

That is not true, Al Gore. That is a lie, like the global warming hockey lies you have made a fortune propounding, while getting fat, flying around in a private plane, and living in a palace you don't need. Why don't you give some money to house the homeless, before you add all those empty rooms to your house, Al Gore? Why don't all Silicon Valley house the homeless, instead of the billion dollar office campuses, then reprove those of us living on retirement for being Republicans, and not caring?

If the face of the 20th Anniversary of this generation's Pearl Harbor on 9/11/2001 can you imagine if this guy had been elected President?
He is still ticked that Florida Election Law was followed, that even surveying the 7 most dem counties, and trying to certify the use of "hanging" or "dimpled" CHADS when the LAW made no allowances for such HE STILL LOST the popular vote in Florida so W Bush got all the electors.
So now he moves into Stacey Abrams territory that Republicans want to PREVENT people of color from voting--
If the elections laws of several states were not circumvented by those who lacked authority to change them, and the COURTS absolutely REFUSING to hear cases brought about by thousands of EYEWITNESSES and those who prevented election law being enforced, things might be different right now.
You cannot change the fact that election laws were followed in the 2000 national election, that the 2016 was being rigged within the media, and government misuse of power against Mr. Trump before his nomination, during the campaign, and immediately after to ruin him with false charges, made up impeachments, and dishonest irregularity until the 2020 national election has taken place.
I liked Tipper better than AlGore, she would have made a better candidate than her husband at the time.

Barack Obama was much more skilled at this nonsense with his, "There are those who say . . . " rhetorical construction.
Daily you see the same technique Gore is demonstrating here from the Leftists foot soldiers in social media comments. My sense is that, while conservatives daily trade reports of the latest inanity demonstrated by the Left, wile 90% of the Left is fomenting hate for the Right based on on invented, assigned beliefs. It's the Russian Collusion gaslighting of all conservatives . The sole motivation appears to be to generate primal hate. For what purpose we shall see.

Very true, Mr Gore. Only the citizens of the United States, with a valid ID, currently eligible to vote (according to the rules of the several States) can vote. All others need not bother to try.
If you don't like those rules, go live somewhere else. Please.

Gore is not allowed.
However I know that in the original United States a voter had to be a land owner. Think about it. It makes sense to me, as the owner of a piece of the land would tend to treat it with more respect.

As people get older, more and more of them become conservative. That’s part of why Trump got 20 million more votes in 2000 than 1996.
What we are seeing now is the panic of the left as they have become the minority party. Biden is their last hurrah.
As they continue to destroy immigration, civilized discourse, the military, and foreign relations, their support will continue to shrink.
When the economy goes totally in the dumpster, it will be over for them forever.
