RNC Defies Trump Attorneys: We’ll Keep On
Referencing Trump In Fundraising Letters

Original Article

Is this a new defiance against Donald Trump by the GOP? Or a clever marketing ploy by Trump and his team? Over the weekend, Trump’s attorneys sent a cease-and-desist order to the RNC over their use of Trump’s name in their fundraising efforts. Their predictable response all but guarantees the party will continue to build its brand around Trump’s: The Republican National Committee is denying a cease-and-desist demand from Donald Trump’s attorneys, who asked the party organization to stop using the former president’s name and likeness in fundraising appeals.

The RNC is rotten to the core as bad as the DNC. I hope Trump goes to all out war against them too.

If the RNC supported Trump's principles, it would be ok maybe. By supporting I mean actually working to implement them. We are risking the loss of the country as we knew it here.

I would suggest this is unenforceable. Let's suppose Biden or Obama got such an order against the RNC...could they be banned from using their name or likeness in fundraising? How about innumerous Facebook and Twitter posters? FPDT is a public figure, a political figure. He's not He Who Must Not Be Named. Let's watch the injunction-seeking fly...

The Republi-Can't Party finally grows a spine, and uses it to commit suicide!!!!! And hopefully this will be the final straw that convinces President Trump that the GOP is not his friend, and he will finally start a new conservative party that will banish the Republi-Can'ts to the dustbin of history!!!!

Coincidentally, today I had a big, slickly-produced, deceptively labeled mailing from the RNC. It was a plea for funds disguised as a survey. It had a postage paid return envelope. So I returned the donation- less form along with a short note outlining my thoughts on the RNC. Hope they take me off their list.

No worries. I read the fine print at the bottom of fundraising letters. RNC, NRSC and National House Republicans haven't received money from our coffers for years. Trump's name and image won't change our resolve. We'll only donate to individual candidates and Trump's PAC.

I have to admit that I enjoy reading emails from republican persons and entities. They now have even stated that they are "begging" for support. Even RINOs like Nikki Haley are busy fundraising. Poster 5 is correct. They soiled their bed and want Trump and his supporters to pay to have the sheets laundered.

Tax cut push in Missouri could jeopardize

JEFFERSON CITY — If Missouri wants a share of the new federal pandemic relief aid package, Republicans may have to delay their quest to cut state taxes. The $1.9 trillion stimulus package heading to President Joseph Biden’s desk contains language saying states cannot “directly or indirectly” reduce tax rates if they want the money. The aim of the provision is to bar states from cutting taxes and then back-filling the revenue hole with federal dollars meant for relief. At stake for Missouri is an estimated $5 billion in relief that is designed to help pay for government services and help businesses, families and schools weather the ongoing pandemic.

Sources report that overcrowding at Border Patrol facilities increases daily. At one Border Patrol Sector in Arizona, Tuesday’s detention figures show 500% occupancy over the COVID-19 adjusted capacity. According to sources, the detention capacity recommendations are made to provide the safest environment for front-line agents and migrants during the pandemic. Until recently, most migrants entering the United States illegally were swiftly returned to Mexico under a CDC emergency order. Many migrants, including family units and unaccompanied children (UACs), were returned within two hours of crossing. The Biden Administration is watering down the application of the CDC order, resulting in the reported overcrowding.

This is the second time in the last two weeks that a top U.S. immigration official has resorted to begging people not to come. I think it might be all they’re willing to do by way of “enforcement” to deter child migrants from entering the country. You can tell border czar Roberta Jacobson is eager for this clip to circulate in Mexican and Central American media: The border is closed, she says. This is not the time, and is never the time, to try to enter the U.S. irregularly. (“Irregularly” may be a Team Biden euphemism for “illegally.”) But the border isn’t closed.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico's government is worried the new U.S. administration's asylum policies are stoking illegal immigration and creating business for organized crime, according to officials and internal assessments seen by Reuters. Ever since President Joe Biden won the White House vowing to undo the hardline approach of his predecessor Donald Trump, Mexico has both looked forward to an end to migration burdens imposed by Trump, and braced for a new influx of people. Detentions on the U.S border have surged since Biden took office on Jan. 20. Mexico has urged Washington to help stem the flow by providing development aid to Central America

The New York Times reported this week that the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion “coronavirus relief” bill includes $86 billion for failing pension funds. The Times reported: Tucked inside the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill that cleared the Senate on Saturday is an $86 billion aid package that has nothing to do with the pandemic. Rather, the $86 billion is a taxpayer bailout for about 185 union pension plans that are so close to collapse that without the rescue, more than a million retired truck drivers, retail clerks, builders and others could be forced to forgo retirement income. The bailout targets multiemployer pension plans, which bring groups of companies together with a union to provide guaranteed

California Governor Gavin Newsom gave his “State of the State” address last night and decided he wasn’t giving his opponents and advocates for his recall enough ammunition. So he obliged them by choosing to frame his campaign for “equity” as a question of not going back to “normal” when the pandemic ends because “normal accepts inequity.” Telling people that things will not “return to normal” after what they’ve been through is not a way to win friends and influence voters. It is, in fact, another reason to sign a recall petition and vote the incompetent governor out of office. Associated Press: The governor further explained his comment that “normal accept inequity”

House Democrats passed a $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill on Wednesday, sending one of the biggest stimulus plans in U.S. history to President's desk. The president hopes to sign the bill Friday after Congress formally sends it to the White House, which can take days for large bills. Biden will check off his first major legislative item as the U.S. tries to ramp up Covid-19 vaccinations and jolt the economy. Here are the proposal's major pieces: It extends a $300 per week jobless aid supplement and programs making millions more people eligible for unemployment insurance until Sept. 6.
