One of the most famous and popular TV personalities in Britain walked off the set of his TV show and resigned after getting flak over his charges that Meghan was just drama queening to Oprah when she claimed to have considered suicide. So great is Piers Morgan’s media clout that the show business bible Variety wrote, “Morgan’s shock departure from “Good Morning Britain” is sure to be a blow for ITV,” rather than a risky gambit for the broadcaster. (snip) Morgan may be in for official trouble, according to NBC News:
The United Kingdom’s Office of Communications announced it was investigating the show’s Monday episode under its “harm and offence rules.”

Normally you would call Meghan's performance "award winning", however, given the hatred she expressed it was only deserving of ridicule. Perhaps she is mentally ill.

I'd like to see M and H move. The Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean would be a good place.

If Meghan and Harry aren't stripped of their Royal titles, the British monarchy will lose any respect it still has among Britons and the world.

Who really cares? She contemplated suicide. She is not the first person to do so. The Queen said it best... We will address it in private.

Sparkle Farkle shows she still has a little bit of acting talent. Or maybe Queen Oprah is very gullible.

Piers Morgan, Melanie Phillips' criticisms are all good, but I want to hear from Ricky Gervais. It would be classic.
BTW, I like the memes at the bottom of the article.

Between the Obamas, Winfrey and this obscene couple somewhere in there I keep thinking we've jumped the shark with the incessant self absorbed pity. Guess not.

I didn’t watch the interview but from what I’ve read it sounds like she took several pages from the 3rd season of “The Crown” and made Diana’s story her own.
She’s an entitled narcissistic gold-digging fraud.

The memes are a hoot! Especially the one with Prince Charles checking Archie with a paint color chart.

Forgot to add...I wonder how many people wrote into the television show to say they agreed with Morgan. Bet it was a lot more than 41,000.

She has been caught in lie after lie.....not the least being she knew nothing about the monarchy and curtsying to the Queen. Love the bit about baby Archie not being given the Prince designation----when that goes to grandsons of the Monarch but not great grandsons. As to "protection", would love to know if Andrew and Fergie's girls get it (they are grandchildren but not children of someone in direct line to the throne), or Princess Anne's children get it. THE most salient point I heard however was Harry complaining that Charles---who had bankrolled the pair financially for the past five years---had cut him off! Meghen obviously wants all the glory and none of the work. As to Harry.....good God!

Only Americans impressed by this display are those enamored by Hollywood in general, and they’ll believe in anything - why they voted for an obviously senile man for president. All of them live in la la land.

Oh, please...Meghan wouldn't have the guts to trim her own nails, much less commit suicide. And I'll bet that the Uniparty is already looking enviously at the UK's "Office of Communications" to ramp up enforcement of its own "harm and offense rules".

Also love the seemingly undisputed fact that Meghan's father could not come to the wedding due to a heart attack, so she filled HIS place at the front of the Church, with Oprah, who she had met once by Ophrah's own admission, and the Clooney's, whom she barely knew.

the markles unleashed enough disrespect with their actual words but there is more . The terrible two used code words with x rated meaning to punk listeners . Look in The Urban Dictionary for the meanings of the kid’s ? first words ( as if ) crocodile, hydrate ,, Their “roast chicken , waffle .. “ who knew but bet they giggle inside .
Another point , in the ME , turning the soles
of one’s feet or shoes towards another denotes much disrespect. Hazmat does this all the time , and he knows this . The man doesn’t even gave another suit ? His louche behavior /dress is the antithesis of his bespoke uniforms and indicates what ? many speculate drugged state ? the harkles are indeed a diversion from current events ? or are they part of a bigger one to create even more anarchy ?

I didn't watch the "interview: but like all the other people of color claiming they were victims of racism. The interviewer never asks: can you tell us the details of haha alleged racist incident? No, never any follow up to just throng out there allegations of racism.

Attention is a drug to the woman. She is the sort who will go from "I was feeling mildy depressed" to "I was in the depths of misery and wanted to die" in order to wring more empathy from a large audience. Just like AOC, paying no attention to her at all is the worst thing you could do to her. Take away the audience and she will wither away.

The bottom line here is that both MeAgain and Harry admit they were in very "dark places" and emotionally unstable at the time. Those are THEIR words, NOT The Firm's. So we should take them at their word, right? They also acknowledge they were untreated. Given their downward-spiraling mental health, how can anyone be sure their memories of the alleged incident are correct? Could they have embellished or even imagined all or part of it?
The Queen's gambit is masterful: "Recollections may vary." While agreeing with the seriousness of the charges, she has cast doubt on their accuracy, considering the instability of the sources.

My extended family deals with a lying narcissist. We all immediately saw through Meghan’s interview for the manipulative, delusional nonsense that it was. She can not stand that she is treated as the lesser than Kate and William. That is the main impetus of her fury. And how could Oprah not laugh when she said that they called the Archbishop of Canterbury for a private backyard ceremony? Seriously! Grandiose delusions. The sad thing is that these people are toxic and can destroy families. Prayers for the Windsors.

In her telling of how she was 'forced' to learn to curtsy to the Queen, I'm betting that's what made her vow to get even with the 'Firm'. 'How dare anyone make me, a proud woman of color, kneel to an old White woman.'

At least the Duke and Duchess of Windsor didn't attack the royal family publicly like this. These two are absolutely appalling, and I am really disappointed in Harry. Meggie has made him completely spineless if he is willing to listen to her attack his family like she did.

Nothing like Oprah allowing them to vent dirty laundry here in the United States? Oprah gets a lot of money for doing it so, yeah, I hold no respect for Oprah. Just seems like the media and Hollywood can do anything they want for a dollar. . .

Meghan is obviously not capable of embarrassment but I see Harry waking up one morning full of regret that he got involved with this nasty wench. He might even consider divorce and beg forgiveness from the Royal Family.

During the Diana years, there were lies flying from both sides, positions solidified and the public airing of Windsor dirty laundry was awful. We are just going to have to let this idiocy run its course too.
