The caterer contracted to feed thousands of National Guard troops providing security at the U.S. Capitol defended its food service Thursday, claiming that none of the cases of reported gastrointestinal illness among soldiers have been linked to the company.
"No cases of foodborne illness can be directly tied to this vendor," said Maria Stagliano, a spokeswoman for Sardi's Catering in College Park, Maryland. The response follows a Wednesday announcement by the National Guard that at least 50 service members have been sickened with gastrointestinal issues after complaints that they were served bad food while on duty guarding the Capitol.

Even if they can't tie the sickness to the food, the paltry amount and selection of food was entirely unsuitable for anything but a kindergarten snack (if reports we've heard are accurate).

You cannot serve chicken that is still pink/raw in the center. And the chicken pieces aere not even that thick. Maria may be the programmed spokesman, but she is in deep denial or didn’t see the evidence.
Let the Guard go home.

They would be better off eating commercial food for consumers

Given the much ballyhooed concept of the Total Army for 40 years, I’m waiting for the Chief of Staff of the Army to make a statement and clear this all up. Waiting....any minute now...

FTA: "No cases of foodborne illness can be directly tied to this vendor," said Maria Stagliano, a spokeswoman for Sardi's Catering in College Park, Maryland.”
Odd wording for a “...spokeswoman...” first, the word, “vendor “—Seems like it was written by a lawyer, anticipating a complaint. I noticed the word, “directly “, too.
If no, “...food borne illness...” can be tied directly to the vendor, what about the metal shavings in the troops’ food?
The governors should bring the soldiers home. Now.

I trust my Governor (Abbott) has brought back the Texas National Guard from their abuse by Pelosi and Biden.

You know, as a former military wife, I have always been surprised by the animosity directed at military service people from just plain old citizens. So, I tend to believe that this was done on purpose and Ms. Stagliano of the catering company was surprised to be caught with her panties down. . . so to speak. Welcome to the real world, Ms. Stag.

The easiest way to solve this problem would be for the guard just to go home. Of course this will never happen as the left needs these props to show just how much they are in control.
It is interesting to see the states that are providing support. All blue and they will be rewarded

Are there any McDonalds near by? Get a big'ole duece 'n half and pick up a lot of Big Macs, fries and vanilla shakes. If it's too much for the restaurant to handle, order a day or two in advance. Or, get a variety - McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Jack In the Box, etc. Heck, 7-11 microwavable bean and cheese burritos might even hit the spot.

If the food is bad, its the preparer's fault. No other explanation is possible. Maybe they need to check their employees sympathies. And pelosi does not need to inject he ugly self into this. We know what she thinks of the military.
There used to be a thing called the MKT, or Mobile Kitchen Trailer. I've seen those guys make great meals for hundreds upon hundreds of troops. Too bad none of the guard units brought any of those Prime RIBS units along. They were the deployable cooks and instant heroes to us.

Be suspicious when they pick their words carefully, just like the Clintons used to do.

And Bill says he did not have sexual relations with That Woman.
And Comey says Hillary did nothing wrong.
And Schiff says he has evidence of Russian collusion.
And Nadler says Antifa violence is a myth.
And blah, blah, blah . . . . Another Democrat speaks. Another lie is told.
