By the thousands, U.S. service members are refusing or putting off the COVID-19 vaccine as frustrated commanders scramble to knock down internet rumors and find the right pitch that will persuade troops to get the shot.(Snip)The Food and Drug Administration has allowed emergency use of the vaccine, so it's voluntary. But Defense Department officials say they hope that soon may change.
“We cannot make it mandatory yet,” Vice Adm. Andrew Lewis, commander of the Navy’s 2nd Fleet, said last week. “I can tell you we’re probably going to make it mandatory as soon as we can, just like we do with the flu vaccine."
Whatever happened to "my body, my choice"?
No American citizen, including the military, should ever be forced to take an experimental COVID "vaccine".

Smart folks. Young people in good physical condition have nothing to fear from the Chinese bioweapon.

The vaccine is profitable as is, but even more so when it's mandatory. Soon enough they'll compel the rest of us to follow suit; maybe they'll rationalize it as a tax, like Obamacare.

I spent last night perusing the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. According to the CDC - 609 Americans have died following the injection of the COVID19 vaccine. This is 93 times more deadly than the injectable Seasonal Flu Vaccine.
609.

Since when did immunizations become optional in the military??
As for the issue of deaths from the kung flu shot, #5, be careful. We are injecting millions of old people. Old people die. Even the iconic lakerman will die some day.

General population rates are about the same - about 1/3 of people are stating that they will refuse to take any COVID vaccine. There is almost panic going on at the CDC. If you haven't noticed, over the past 10 days or so there is a coordinated effort in local and national media to convince you to get the vaccine.

I know three young service members, two USMC, one USAF and I think that two will not be getting it, one is considering it.
Stay away, young people. No upside for young and healthy, possible real downside.

I think many find the conversation surrounding this vaccine as stunning as I do. It is classed as an investigative injection in all the CDC and Pharma inserts. It is purely experimental and to even propose that this be mandatory is immoral. There was a time when the international medical community would freak out at such a thing.

Many many years in the Navy served mostly on carriers n stationed overseas. Had the many vaccine cocktails injections for anthrax, yellow fever, TB, ETC. No issues, i already had a beautiful family and did not plan on any more.
My recommendation to my active duty female JO Navy flyer is to hold off. The mRNA issue IMO is problematic for those young persons who are concerned with possible adverse reproductive problems associated with the mRNA produced vaccine.
Notice the services did not answer the concern about pregnancy concerns? Hmmmm I.Wonder. Why.
Once the government assumes full financial and medical responsibility for any and all medical issues associated with reproductive health now and in the future of the mother and her fetus/child then maybe the service leaders will have some credibility on the issue of involuntary vaccinations.
Until they are forthcoming with full disclosure on the subject, they can pack sand.

I'm being pressured to get it, mostly by work and the doctor. The thing is, nobody pushing this has first hand knowledge of it. They are basing it on what they have read, mostly government stuff. Do you believe them? I dont.
Stuff your vaccine.

One thing I learned from PDJT and the 2020 election- the government cannot be trusted. Ever. At all.

I'm in my mid-50's and I am extremely hesitant to get the vaccine. So far, (knock on wood), i have managed to avoid getting the Kung Flu. I take 1000mg of Vitamin C, zinc, vitamin D3 and other supplements every day without fail. I feel like I've made my system as hostile to the virus as possible. I wouldn't call myself immune because no one is, even those having had the shot. But in reading about prevention, I'm reasonably hopeful it will pass me by.

Here in Florida, they are offering cash payments to take part in a Covid-19 " vaccine "study". If you won't voluntarily take the vaccine, maybe being paid to take it will work. You can guess who would sign up for this.

Keep your Vitamin D3 up, say 4,000 unit every day, and about a gram of Vitamin C and you are very likely to be just fine unless you have some serious pre-existing health problems.
And anyone under 40 isn't at all likely to get very sick, even if they get this stuff.

A visiting nurse told me just yesterday she will refuse the shots. Not enough empirical testing -a political placebo to show that DC is doing Something!

I cannot, in good conscience, take the shot until every minority in the country has had it or the chance to take it. If I did before them, I would be flaunting my White Privilege and that would be racist.
