Critics laughed at former President Donald Trump when he claimed that terrorists, “some real bad ones,” had crossed the border just as he was selling Congress on paying for a border wall. But it turns out that Trump was correct that in the waves of illegal immigrants pouring over the southern border in the last decade were dozens of terrorists and terror sympathizers. In his new book, America’s Covert Border War, The Untold Story of the Nation’s Battle to Prevent Jihadist Infiltration, journalist and former counterterrorism intelligence official Todd Bensman tallied up 104 illegal crossings by terrorists between 2014 and 2018.And it could be more, way more.

After “doing the internal work of anti-racism”, the SPLC will no longer list black racist hate groups because “the hate is not equal”. Even racism requires its own equity. The SPLC’s move dismantles the last remaining shred of credibility of the organization, but it also comes after Democrat politicians and activists, including Senator Cory Booker and Kamala Harris pressured the FBI to stop monitoring black nationalist hate groups...

Democrats are struggling with impeachment managers' desire to call witnesses in the Senate trial this week to help prove their case against Donald Trump and Democratic leadership wanting a speedy process.Speculation stirred over the weekend that Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Republican Leader Mitch McConnell will announce a deal on how the trial, which kicks off on Tuesday, will move forward – with few expecting any witness testimony, according to Politico. Congressional leadership feels witnesses are not necessary since the actions and fallout Democrats are accusing the former president of inciting happened in plain sight

How is this for obnoxious? Leftists, one after another, have put a target on country music legend Dolly Parton's back. Her crime against political correctness? Making a Super Bowl ad for Squarespace, an inexpensive website-creating framework for small and start-up businesses. (snip) Parton, whose own history as an enterprising country music singer, who gained control of her own musical work product over the big boys as a scrappy, freelance artist, which is what the NBC News piece described, is somehow 'bad' for advocating small business entrepreneurship, same as what she herself did to get herself rich and famous.
Debasing the Constitution: Why Chief Justice
Roberts is Not Presiding over Trump’s

As Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial begins today, not enough attention has been paid to the fact that Chief Justice Roberts will not be presiding. Senate Democrat Richard Blumenthal, a lawyer, former federal prosecutor and member of the Judiciary Committee, believes the Chief Justice should preside. Elizabeth Warren adopts the far more aggressive position that the Chief Justice must preside as part of “his constitutional duty.” For good measure, she adds, “I can’t imagine why a Supreme Court justice would not do his duty.” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer presents yet a third constitutional argument. He claims that the Constitution commits the decision as a matter of choice
Biden Invents An Economic

$1.9 Trillion COVID 'Relief'

President Joe Biden used Friday’s jobs report as another justification for his massive $1.9 trillion stimulus bill. “A once-in-a-century virus has decimated our economy, and it’s still wreaking havoc on our economy today,” he said. Funny, because that’s not what the data show. Some Democrats are already coming to realize that piling another $1.9 trillion in deficit spending on top of the more than $3 trillion already targeting COVID relief is an enormous mistake. Here’s what Politico reported last week after liberal economist Larry Summers cautioned that the Biden plan was too big. Summers, the former Treasury secretary for Bill

The niece of Vice President Kamala Harris, Meena Harris, led other leftists on Twitter on Sunday night in mask-shaming Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. When Sports Illustrated tweeted a video of Brady arriving at Raymond James Stadium before the Super Bowl, at which he won his record seventh big game against the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, the vice president’s niece sounded off in a tweet questioning why Brady was not wearing a mask. “What’s Tom doing without a damn mask?” Meena Harris tweeted. A Made-For-TV Impeachment Trial replies

The conduct of the Democrats during the first Trump impeachment trial was truly cringe-worthy. Knowing that he would never be removed from office, they produced a piece of embarrassingly bad theater for the benefit of their far-left base. The second Trump impeachment trial, due to begin Tuesday, promises to be even more schmaltzy. Because their claim that Trump is guilty of inciting insurrection is so thoroughly refuted by the video and transcript of his January 6 speech, the Democratic House managers will be forced to rely heavily on a montage of misleading videos edited for the convenience of the broadcast and cable networks. It will be a made-for-television impeachment trial

Retired Sgt. Betsy Smith, who now represents the National Police Association, said the media are currently spending a great deal of time talking about the U.S. Capitol breach but not enough on violent riots perpetrated by Antifa and others. “Right now, their current obsession is, you know, white supremacy, white supremacists, and the Capitol riot. They don’t want to talk about the other 99 percent of violent riots that American law enforcement has been dealing with for the past almost year,” Smith, a 29-year veteran of a large metropolitan police department in Chicago, told NTD’s The Nation Speaks. “We’re focusing on one riot on January 6, and it’s very, extremely frustrating

Diplomatic immunity does not extend to terrorism, and that is very bad news for Iran's embassies. On February 4, 2021, a court in Antwerp, Belgium delivered a guilty verdict with 20 years of imprisonment in the case of Assadollah Assadi, a career Iranian diplomat who plotted a bombing attack against a major gathering of Iranian opposition members in France. (Snip) There’s no doubt that this plot was ordered by Khamenei, Rouhani, Zarif, and Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi.”

The vengeful resistance appears to have suffered another setback as efforts to run former President Donald J. Trump out of Mar-a-Lago have come up far short of their objective.Following his departure from the polluted confines of the great D.C. swamp, Trump and his beautiful wife Melania have settled in at the magnificent 17-acre South Florida resort, a historic landmark that he purchased in 1985 for $7 million. But Trump’s enemies weren’t satisfied with merely chasing him out of Washington, they also want to kick him out of the scenic Palm Beach resort as well.

Millions of Americans are projected to remain jobless for the next three to four years, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), though President Joe Biden is looking to fill American jobs with foreign workers. In a report released this month, CBO analysts said the number of jobless Americans — all of whom want full-time jobs — will not return to pre-coronavirus levels until around 2024.“As the economy expands, many people rejoin the civilian labor force who had left it during the pandemic, restoring it to its pre-pandemic size in 2022,” the CBO report states. “The unemployment rate gradually declines throughout the period, and the number of people employed

Former President Trump “feels happier” since leaving the White House — partly because he’s off social media, his former campaign aide says.“The president has said he feels happier now than he’s been in some time,” said former Trump campaign strategist Jason Miller in an interview with the UK’s Sunday Times.Trump was banned from Twitter, Facebook and other social-media platforms after the siege on the US Capitol last month.“He’s said that not being on social media, and not being subject to the hateful echo chamber that social media too frequently becomes, has actually been good,” Miller told the outlet.

I wrote a piece earlier in response to Bruce Springsteen’s first commercial ad for Jeep for the Super Bowl. I left it with the hope that sanity will prevail because as Americans, we have shown that ability to triumph over all odds. I do believe that sanity and the truth will ultimately triumph. But I also wrote about how Democrats and the media are deliberately demonizing the GOP and encouraging people to hate us. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes is moving into very dangerous territory, not to mention certifiably insane. “The shamelessness of Republicans on the Sunday shows is a sight to
