President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill were momentarily left standing in the cold on Inauguration Day after the front doors of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue weren't opened for them – a breach of protocol caused by the firing of the chief usher of the White House hours earlier. With the world watching on, the 46th US President and his wife walked up the steps of their new home for the first time on Wednesday, as a small crowd of family members followed behind. [SNIP] They then embraced one another, before turning to venture on inside. But there was a problem: the doors didn’t open.

I guess that's what happens when you are a senile idiot, and you fire the staff before you figure out how to get in to the house.

He should have locked the doors when he left. # 4 the article already indicated the position had a political bent to it cause Melania personally hired him ... cause he was especially competent with a great work ethic. Those qualifiers will be lost with this current bunch of buffoons.

Another article meant to make Trump look bad? Here’s the buried story” However, Harleth wasn’t there to greet the Bidens when they arrived because he had been fired around five hours earlier. Harleth, the Trumps’ chief usher and a former rooms manager of the Trump International Hotel in Washington, told the New York Times he was moving furniture on Inauguration Day when he was told at 11:30am that his services were no longer needed. Biden’s aides had reportedly called the White House on Wednesday, saying the incoming president planned to bring in someone else to take over his role. Biden’s aides caused this. His executive brain function is going, going, gone…. (look it up if you don’t know what that means). It could affect his speech. Progressive aphasia. The stumbling over words, grasping for words, using wrong words, is first sign. How will they keep the world (and us) from seeing this? I believe the firing of the chief house usher was just a start. They cannot have people around him who observe, understand, and talk. That usher had a strike against him in that he was selected from the Trump hotel by Melania. Biden Inc. would have viewed him as a spy with a straight wire to Trump. Their fraudulent life takes a new turn. It’s called Paranoia.

Friday on FNC’s “Hannity,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned the validity of the impeachment process underway against President Donald Trump now that he has left office. Paul argued there were other instances of where the standard of incitement could be used against sitting members of Congress, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and questioned if Chief Justice John Roberts would show up to preside over the U.S. Senate’s impeachment trial. He also urged people to contact Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the leader of the Republican caucus in the U.S. Senate, and voice their opposition to impeachment proceedings.

The last time these slinking mongrels in Congress impeached President Trump, a deadly disease from China was stalking our country, poised to pounce and kill close to 400,000 Americans. In those crucial early months of the global pandemic, our federal government ground to a halt as Democrats in Congress pursued with blind fury a hotly partisan and clearly futile effort to remove Mr. Trump. Democrats failed. Mr. Trump survived. Everyone knew the outcome of the fake charade from the start. But as Democrats dawdled, bloviated and fawned for the cameras, the pandemic prevailed.

The Washington Post removed an unflattering tidbit about Vice President Kamala Harris from a 2019 feature and republished a new version of the story that is friendlier to the Democratic media darling -- but eventually restored a link to the original after widespread backlash. Reason reporter Eric Boehm noticed the edit and took the Post to task in a scathing breakdown of the situation. [SNIP] Harris bizarrely compared the rigors of the campaign trail to…life behind bars. And then proceeded to laugh—at the idea of an inmate begging for a sip of water," Boehm wrote, calling it "an extremely cringeworthy moment" that painted Harris in a negative light.

Google has threatened to remove its search engine from Australia over the nation's attempt to make the tech giant share royalties with news publishers. Australia is introducing a world-first law to make Google, Facebook and potentially other tech companies pay media outlets for their news content. But the US firms have fought back, warning the law would make them withdraw some of their services. Australian PM Scott Morrison said lawmakers would not yield to "threats". Though Australia is far from Google's largest market, the proposed news code is seen as a possible global test case for how governments could seek to regulate big tech firms.
