Continuing a flurry of executive action, President Biden signed an order Friday calling on the Labor Department to allow workers to collect unemployment benefits if they quit jobs they fear put them at risk for COVID-19. Pointing to a Gallup Poll finding that found 43% of Americans live in a household where at least one member has a preexisting condition, the White House wrote in a release: “The President is asking the Department of Labor to consider clarifying that workers have a federally guaranteed right to refuse employment that will jeopardize their health and if they do so, they will

Unemployed will also get a $400 'bonus' every week - on top of other payments. People who trudge off to work every day get nothing.

What about all the Marines and Soldiers who say they fear they might catch COVID while performing their military duties throughout the USA and overseas, or on a future battlefield, or healthcare workers all over the country, can they just go home and draw unemployment compensation? In real terms such bolstered unemployment compensation payouts would most likely earn enlisted Marines and Soldiers more money each month then they now earn now performing their military duties. You have to figure that Biden is willing to sabotage the economy in order to attempt to buy votes in the November 2022 election?

NEW YORK -- The city is taking measures to protect dogs at a Brooklyn park after residents said they suspect rats are spreading a disease there that killed several dogs. City Councilmember Lincoln Restler sounded the alarm this week after his office received reports that multiple dogs had died after visiting the McCarren Park Dog Run in Williamsburg. The dogs had symptoms associated with leptospirosis, a bacterial disease spread through the urine of infected animals like rats. Restler said dogs can catch leptospirosis if they drink from puddles rats urinated in. Restler told the Daily News on Thursday that he was

"Masking will be required at all times, indoors and outdoors. It is required that all students wear well-fitting, non-cloth masks with a nose wire. Almost every jurisdiction in Eastern Massachusetts, from the New Hampshire border to Worcester to the Cape Cod Canal, will have to do its part zoning for 344,000 new units of as-of-right multifamily housing—or lose access to some state grant programs. That mean allowing apartments in many tony subdivisions currently reserved for single-family homes. For perspective, all of Massachusetts currently builds just 15,000 new units
