Belgian rioters attacked the king's car with the monarch inside in violent unrest in Brussels over the death of a black man in police custody who was arrested for breaking the country's strict coronavirus rules.
King Phillipe was travelling to the Palace of Laeken, his official residence, as protesters began to batter his BMW with projectiles. The vehicle quickly sped off guarded by the king's security detail.
More than 500 protesters, some of them holding Black Lives Matter signs, gathered in Belgium's capital on Wednesday following the death of the 23-year-old Ibrahima Barrie.
Barrie was arrested by police on Saturday in the city for breaking the

I'm not sure how I feel about this. No one should die because they violated a covid curfew.
As for the riots.... when your government doesn't fear you, violence seems to be the only way to get their attention. However, violence is more acceptable if its perpetrated by a favored group.

You can't find a nicer man than Phillippe of Belgium. This was uncalled for.

Unfortunately it doesn't make a darn bit of difference about the Belgian king, who is nothing but a figurehead. But Belgium's history is steeped in injustice in Africa, and BLM is locked and loaded there.
I'm not clicking on the DM as they are spreading all sorts of false flag messages about armed demos in the US next week, but apparently this guy either did something during curfew or the police overreacted.

Had to read a long way to get to:" Speaking at a rally on Wednesday outside the police station, the lawyer for Barrie's family claimed that an initial autopsy showed the man died of a heart attack.... Initial findings by the toxicologist also said that there was nothing to suggest he had used drugs before his death, HLN reported, but added that he was found with three ecstasy pills on his possession. Official findings are yet to be released."
He ran from the police. He had ecstasy in his pocket (probably why he ran.) He collapsed and died of a heart attack. Very sad but not exactly unpredictable.
"Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect: like a man, who hath thought of a good repartee when the discourse is changed, or the company parted; or like a physician, who hath found out an infallible medicine, after the patient is dead.”

Causes need martyrs, and now Belgian BLM has one. The "truth" never matters once the myth is created, which is near immediate. The King might be the nicest man on earth, and it matters not. I doubt he mingles often with the demonstrators or their like. He's the embodiment of the government, and lives like a king.
And now what will His Royal Highness do or say about this? I'm sure the palace will issue a statement that His Majesty regrets the incident, intruding unexpectedly on this demonstration and the family's mourning for their son. That His Majesty condemns racism in any form, and that all men of good will must work in common cause to eliminate any such evil thoughts from modern, diverse Belgian society.
Insurance will cover the damage.

Ibrahima. Sounds like the “religion of peace” to me. I wonder what else he was doing besides breaking curfew. I lived in Brussels 40 years ago and way back then they were already having problems with Turks who had been allowed in to do farm labor.

It's difficult to find one of these incidents where the BMIQ (black man in question) always starts the ball rolling by committing a crime then being arrogant, abusive and combative during his arrest. This should provide a strong hint as to where the problem lies.

The article does not say what he died from and it hasn't been determined yet we must assume.
But the automatic response to a black man dying in police custody is a riot.
All over the world this minority is given Carte Blanche to act out because of their melanin content.
Doesn't seem to matter when a white woman Veteran is shot down in cold blood in our nations capitol.
No riots and democrats saying she deserved it for being there.

The question is are we being misinformed by reading this article? As were they actually Belgians who were rioting, or were they Islamic Black folks from Africa and the Middle East who decamped to Belgium who were rioting?
