Sen. Sherrod Brown continues calls for 25th Amendment,
asks Republicans to acknowledge fair election

Original Article

If the U.S. House moves on impeachment hearings, it needs to happen quickly, Sen. Sherrod Brown said. In a news conference Friday morning, Brown said he supports first invoking the 25th Amendment, which allows the vice president and a majority of the president's Cabinet to remove the sitting president.(Snip)But either way, Brown said his main concern is not punishing President Donald Trump but restricting what he could do over the next 12 days with national and domestic security. “This is beyond anything we’ve ever seen,” Brown said. “There’s no telling what this president might do in the next 12 days.”

Comments:

Brown says a president can be impeached after leaving office but doesn’t think investing the time would be worth it. He wants Republicans to stand up on issues of moral importance and said Democrats will be addressing income wealth inequality. Worth noting is Brown’s insistence that Republicans say Biden is a legitimate president—that Democrats need Republicans to say that.

This is no joke. The last time that Sherrod Brown ran for office, he looked and sounded like Jim Ignatowski from the the sitcom, Taxi. Clearly, he (Sherrod, not Jim) has some mental issues these days.

What I'm seeing now is the intimidation game. The democrats are going after the Trump supporters to intimidate us into submission. Antifa and BLM can burn the cities down, kill police, loot, etc. but let the Trump supporters enter the capital, wave flags, etc and the democrats have the FBI come looking for us. Some Trump supporters have lost their jobs. I feel this is not going to end well. God watch over us.

"Acknowledge fair election"? This is like a religious jihad. Obviously if you have to force people to say they believe something, they don't actually believe it. "Nothing to see here and don't you dare be caught looking" isn't going to cut it going forward.

Democrats haven't acknowledged yet that the elections of 2000, 2004, and 2016 were fair. So, them first. As for the possible "expulsion" from the Senate of Cruz and Hawley, they should get the same treatment for objecting to this election that Barbara Boxer got in 2005; in other words--none.

I'm far less concerned with what Trump "might" do than I am with what I KNOW that the treasoncrats WILL do. Biden hasn't been sworn in and already they are censoring, de-listing and canceling Republicans. Just wait until they pack the Supreme Court. When "your" government actively treats half the population as the enemy, the consequences are entirely predictable.

It is 12 days until President Trump leaves office. To invoking the 25th Amendment or rush through another impeachment. because you can't wait 12 days, is to sink to a level below a "banana republic." Doing this would truly make the U.S. the laughing stock of the world.

Brown is a deranged fool, but we are in perilous times - anything could happen. I can't see any way out of this mess that doesn't involved violence. Lindsay Graham said last night on a TV show, that the only way out was for Biden to be convinced to instruct Pelosi to stand down with her proposed impeachment. But Pelosi is way too far gone mentally for anyone to reason with her. Graham said that if that doesn't happen (taking impeachment off the table), "God help us all". The President's approval (Rasmussen poll) has been steadily going up since the DC protests, which has the dilettantes in the deep state and media scratching their heads. They ca't figure it out, but it's simple" The people support Trump, not the pointy-heads.

Sherrod Brown is not someone that any person with half a brain should listen to or take seriously. This effort by the Dems to say Trump is unstable by talking about the 25th or nuclear codes is just disinformation. It is an attempt by the Dems, Rhinos and media to completely discredit Trump. If any of those senators or congress people had been investigated as much as Trump has over the last four years, many would be indicted or in prison. If any of them had been personally attacked as Trump has for so long, they would have responded much more angrily than Trump has, especially Biden. What those pathetic people don't get is that Trump has not caused his followers anger. That anger has been building for decades but the Democrat, media, tech and Rhino coordinated treatment of Trump, and by extension his followers, has focused that anger.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - President Donald Trump “poured gas on the fire” ahead of the occupation of the U.S. Capitol, fellow Republican Gov. The president’s continued refusal to accept the election results, without producing any credible evidence of a rigged election, “has started a fire that has threatened to burn down our democracy,” DeWine said. “This incendiary speech yesterday, the one he gave preceding the march that he gave to the protesters, served only to fan those flames, encouraging the mob behavior that ensued,” DeWine said.

In 2020, Democrat riots caused billions of dollars in property damage, destroyed historic sites, and assaulted and murdered dozens of people. Meanwhile, on January 6, President Trump asked patriots to walk peacefully to the Capitol to cheer politicians who, copying Democrat, objected to Electoral College votes. Some hotheads (encouraged by Antifa plants?) entered the Capitol, as Democrat protesters have done many times before. Let’s be perfectly clear, fellow conservatives. 2021 started off on a poor note. Two hazardously progressive lawmakers are headed to the United State Senate to give the Democrats a slim majority. Minimizing this reality will not furnish a beneficial outcome, nor will submitting to the notion that the left is not actually serious about their espoused platform. That platform includes providing a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants; repealing economy-stimulating tax cuts; moving forward with public-option healthcare; eliminating the filibuster; conferring statehood on Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico; and packing the highest court in the land with progressive judges.
