Ohio governor: Trump started
fire that threatens democracy

Original Article

Posted By: Harlowe, 1/8/2021 10:42:39 PM

COLUMBUS, Ohio - President Donald Trump “poured gas on the fire” ahead of the occupation of the U.S. Capitol, fellow Republican Gov. Mike DeWine of Ohio said Thursday in his harshest criticism of the president to date. The president’s continued refusal to accept the election results, without producing any credible evidence of a rigged election, “has started a fire that has threatened to burn down our democracy,” DeWine said. “This incendiary speech yesterday, the one he gave preceding the march that he gave to the protesters, served only to fan those flames, encouraging the mob behavior that ensued,” DeWine said.

Comments:

DeWine said people need to have faith in the electoral system and that the “good news” is the Constitution prevailed despite a mob. DeWine neglects to remember he is Ohio’s governor because members of the “mob” who support President Trump voted for him (DeWine). Regarding five Ohio Republican congressmen who challenged Biden’s election, DeWine said that would not have been his vote. Republican Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, who was a former Ohio elections chief, said the 2020 election was not stolen and attributed the seeds of distrust to an inefficient process of counting votes in some states.

It is the responsibility of those who seek power to prove they hold it legitimately. 3. Can you prove, Gov. Mike DeWine of Ohio, that no voting irregularities occurred in the 2020 election? 4. Do you Gov. Mike DeWine of Ohio, hold your position because of fraud? 5. Can you prove it?

There were six states in question who had every opportunity to provide the evidence that their Presidential elections were fair and honest. Of the six, all failed to do this. They chose charade and obfuscation. FIVE of the six were states with Republican legislatures. Georgia, the epicenter of this "controversy" had a Republican governor and secretary of state, besides the legislature. Those claiming "no evidence" of fraud will not allow examination of the true evidence; in fact they have even less evidence of honesty. RECALL these REPUBLICAN legislators, governors and secretaries of state. Make them stand and deliver the reasons for their dereliction of Constitutional duty. The madness is not the Democrats who cheated...it is the REPUBLICANS in apparent collaboration. Put aside the cognitive dissonance...

I loathe my governor, DeWine. I have long thought he resembles George Burns. Husted is DeWine's heir because DeWine is almost certain not to run again. Husted just lost his next election and probably just gave our state to the dems. I have never understood how Trump could win our state by 8 points and then Sherrod Brown wins comfortably 2 years later. Apparently Ohio is bipolar.

All over the country, there are businesses, schools, and churches that are still not allowed to reopen, but it’s a different story at migrant shelters. The CDC is now bending the rules to allow these shelters to operate at full capacity. Stef W. Kight reports at Axios: CDC lets child migrant shelters fill to 100% despite COVID concern. The Centers for Disease Control is allowing shelters handling child migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border to expand to full capacity, abandoning a requirement that they stay near 50% to inhibit the spread of the coronavirus, Axios has learned.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
