Warnock defeats Loeffler
in Georgia Senate runoff

Original Article

Posted By: pensom2, 1/6/2021 3:03:50 AM

Raphael Warnock on Wednesday morning was projected to have defeated Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) in their Senate runoff in Georgia, bringing the Democrats within reach of the majority in the upper chamber. NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN called the race for Warnock shortly before 2 a.m. EST on Wednesday. The Associated Press called it at 2 a.m. EST. Fox News followed suit shortly before 2:30 a.m. Warnock, who is the pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, will be the first African American to represent Georgia in the Senate. The pastor declared victory in a video address after midnight

Comments:

Sorry to post this. If this vote count is even honest, Loeffler blew it when she appeared to have indulged in stock trades based on breaking information to which she was privy based on her position. Bad optics, IMHO.

Wow. The ignorance displayed in the comments after this article is an indictment of the failure of the education system. The concept that somehow America gains from the possible election of two nutcases is mind boggling. interestingly, one of the few sane posters linked to a YouTube video showing 32,000 votes disappearing from Perdue's total during the evening. I would post the link here, but I'm not sure if that is allowed.

So Georgia is having a run-off election because a winner was not declared in the fraudulent election November 2020? Did anyone expect anything to change with Kemp and Raffensperger? Of course, counting stopped and mail-in ballots have to save the day for the Democrats.

How can a Republican ever win another election? I don’t believe I’ll ever trust the results of an election for as long as I live.

Even though I was hopeful, I knew Georgia would be lost when the governor and the secretary of state wouldn't even consider that vote fraud gave the state to Biden. When you can't/won't admit that there's a problem, you've given permission for it to happen again.

Georgia has only been a red state for 16 years and the GOP blew it big time. 2018 should have been a HUGE wake up call when Stacy Abrams came within 50,000 votes of being elected governor. The democrats have been pouring resources and cash into Georgia the last 3 election cycles, and its paying off. Over the past 3 cycles I watched more rural counties flip blue. More counties surrounding Atlanta flipped blue. In the run up to this run off election, Warnock and Ossof signs are everywhere. Was there fraud? Probably. Did the GOP take Georgia for granted? Absolutely. The blame for this disaster can be laid squarely at the feet of the GOP. We have a mid-term and Governors election in 2022. Will the GOP stop and reverse the trend or allow the democrats to solidify their gains, like the did in Virginia?

I am stunned at the comments blaming Loeffler’s loss on insider training. We just witnessed the most massive voter fraud in American history in this very State followed by the election of an openly Marxist racist in what looks like another questionable vote. Not defending what Loeffler did if true, but if people think Warnock got votes that would otherwise gone to Loeffler, ultimately causing the loss of the Senate, than this country is more lost than I thought.

I wouldn't get too depressed yet. Let's see what happens today. Trump may have allowed this all to happen in order to trap more traitors. There is a theory that has been put forth about the entire election fraud, a trap by DJT, all monitored and chronicled. I have been waiting since the Clinton administration for some kind of justice. I am willing to wait a little longer before I despair. There is still a strong possibility that Trump has masterminded the greatest sting ever. I am staying hopeful and optimistic, and it's based on a lot of research. Perhaps things are not as bad as they look. Folks just McConnell’s stance on the recent stimulus payment of $600 no doubt threw enough votes to the Democrat runoff candidates in Georgia to get them over the finish line. Here you have both the President and the Democrats advocating a stimulus payment of $2,000 to the American people, with McConnell and the Republican Senate saying no, the American people should only be given $600, with the difference essentially being sent to foreign countries and governments that are not friendly at all to US interests. If you were a financially hurting low information voter in Georgia over the last month or so and the media told you that the Democrats want to hand you $2,000, but the Republicans will only go along with a $600 payment to you, who would you be more likely to vote for in the Senate runoff election, a Democrat or a Republican? Duh! The next chapter in that McConnell “shoot yourself in the foot” saga will come after Biden is inaugurated and the leftist and liberal Democrats control both Houses of Congress. Chances are the Democrats will then pass another stimulus bill with $2,000 or in more in stimulus payouts that will be targeted to go to the Democrat constituencies and to the big Democrat States. Clearly McConnell does not care if he has to give up his Senate Majority Leader to liberal Democrat Chuck Schumer, as McConnell will still get his cut of the Senate spoils, and anyway has picked up 25 million or so from his Chinese in-laws in recent times so he is not in need of a stimulus payment. The Republicans have not been called the”stupid” party for so long for nothing.

Loeffler was a weak, unqualified candidate. Prior to her appointment to the U,S. Senate she had no political background other than status as a big donor. Doug Collins had sterling qualifications and deserved the job. Although I don’t think the dubious stock trade cost Loeffler the race, the appearance of using Capitol Hill insider information was self destructive. She already had a reputation, maybe undeserved, as an out of touch elite. What was she thinking?

Yes. We can blame this loss on fraud, machines, sleazy politics, the weather, the media, which side of the bed you got out of yesterday...all of these and many more could apply. But we ALSO need to look squarely in the mirror and ADMIT that the Demos ALSO beat us by their Herculean organizational efforts. When Stacy Adams almost won the governorship, THEY saw an opportunity and they meant business. Here's just 1 example of their planning and schemes: Liberal groups around the country bought postcards and stamps, and spent thousands of dollars and social-isolation hours writing person-to-person pleas to GA voters. The DNC provided examples to follow using poor grammar or misspelled words which would seem more human than computer-generated. It was a reach out and touch campaign---much more effective than a robocall. The Demos GET it. Somehow the Pubbies never do. Even with the Tea Party, we couldn't organize. It eventually fell apart because it was fractured with no organizational attempt to unify. on a national basis. Pubbies don't know how to play offense; they seem to prefer defense. I remember Obama's staggering loss in Congress. He simply announced, "Well, that was a shellacking." And you know what? The Demos went to work IMMEDIATELY to repair whatever damage they could. THAT is the problem here. I doubt that any Republicans will get themselves organized with a PLAN to move forward. I sadly see them running around blaming each other and shooting their own allies. I do agree with some of my fellow L-Dotters who say it's OVER. Divided we fall. That's what just happened.

Ok ...let's get serious here. Does anyone in their right mind think for a second that this election was going to be fair & square? Using the same machines and the same counting from November? Really? Once the local Dems were allowed to steal the POTUS election it was a piece of cake to steal this one. As it will be like taking candy from a baby as they steal the rest of our elections. Go ahead and think it "was real close" and "we almost won" and "we should try harder". That's what they want you think ... so you'll sit down and shut up. The game is as rigged now as the roulette wheel in the movie "Casablanca".

Not good news - but perhaps not all that bad. Time to make lemonade and get busy on either expelling RINOs and the Karl Rove consultants from the GOP, or to start fresh with a new party [which I have been advocating since Romney threw the 2008 election]. It will be a tough climb, but probably easier than wresting party control from an established elite. Now the fate of the nation [and Western civilization] rests on the shoulders of VP Mike Pence. Will he stand up, or will he wimp out? Not optimistic unless God speaks to him directly. I still remember how he double-crossed Ted Cruz in the 2016 primaries.

Of all that has been disclosed so far in John Bolton’s campaign to get his book published, the most significant--at least to us--is the classified information non-disclosure agreement that binds Mr. Bolton to keep our national secrets. It starts with the words “intending to be bound.” It describes his obligations in detail. It places the burdens on Mr. Bolton. It ends with his signature. So whatever else is bound up in this dispute, one of the issues will be the value of Mr. Bolton’s word. We understand one question in the lawsuit the government just filed will be

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
