Rank-and-file conservatives have embraced Donald Trump. But even after four years, and everything he’s done for America, a hard core of leaders and intellectuals remains stridently anti-Trump. Their problem isn’t philosophical but psychological.(Snip)By any standard, Trump is our most successful conservative president:(Snip)Without a hard-driving, take-charge businessman at 1600, Operation Warp-Speed would have been Operation Don’t-Exceed-The-Speed-Limit. Money for a COVID vaccine would have been balanced by funding for the Kennedy Center and gender studies in Pakistan.So what’s their problem with POTUS? Character, they tell us. He’s crude, bombastic and arrogant--unlike all of the humble souls who’ve succeeded at politics.

I told my wife that they would all hate Trump because he actually would want to get things done. That he'd want to fix the problems, not just set up a blue-ribbon committee with high-priced cronies who happen to be out of office at the moment and need the gig, only to write a report 2 years later when no one was paying attention any longer.
He's exposed the system for being what it is, and people who've been living off the system don't like it, regardless of their political party.
The typical Democrat answer to every problem is to install massive new government programs that do very little to change anything other than the employ more government workers who require more taxes from everyone else to support. And, then they'll declare "it's a nice down payment, and we'll be expanding this program to do X".
It could be the true rallying cry for 2022 and 2024, to stop tinkering on the edges and asking questions why some sections of major American cities have been in roughly the same circumstances for the last 50 years when so much progress has been achieved by so many others from countries all across the globe. Many within 1 generation essentially achieving the American Dream.

Considering "an ungovernable country" is exactly what Deep-State DC--RINO dwarfs included--have inflicted on America since 2016, Mike really has only one choice.

Are they really conservatives? Or are they Democrat Infiltrators? Anybody can say they are this or that. Doesn't make it so. Look at McCain. Claimed he was a Republican, yet only voted with them if it wouldn't change the outcome. He "reached across the aisle" anytime it could hand the Democrats what they wanted.

George Patton played just a large a part in winning WW2 as MacArthur did, some say larger, but he was hated for much the same reason as Donald Trump is. If the result is a perfect omelet only a fool cares how the eggs get broken.

They hate him because they couldn't control him and he wanted to do things right for the country, which would cut off the Chinese gravy train off of which a large number of greedy politicians and others in power are feeding. Our country is FULL of traitors.
