Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is not ruling out a 2024 presidential bid—even if it means running against his old friend Donald Trump, according to a report. “I would not, no,” Christie told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday, Fox News reported. “I would not rule it out.” “If I go and look up Christie 2024, will that URL already be reserved?” Hewitt asked.(Snip) But the two-term Garden State governor has distanced himself from Trump since contracting the coronavirus—and launching a public service campaign urging Americans to wear masks to guard against the pandemic.

Christi's attempts at President remind me of some of the torments visited upon the damned in hellenic fables: always reaching - never achieving.
Who wants to vote for THIS treacherous loser?

Fettsau, campaigning would take you away from the table far too long. Hewitt, btw, is NOT a conservative, anything but.

To add to OP's comment, Christie could double that gravitas by choosing Michael Moore as his running mate.

The symbol of the Republican Party is the elephant for a reason!!!
We do not forget when treasonous Republi-can't hosebeasts like Romney and Christie stab President Trump in the back after he helped both of them repeatedly!!!
Of course, he may mean that he is going to run as a Demon-Rat. It fits him very well!!! Weaselly like donkey (or a word for donkey that rhymes with "class")!!!!

Eric Swallowswell was a better candidate than Crispy Creme. Crispy could not draw a Dementia Joe crowd, in fact, other than his own girth he could not fill a phone booth with supporters.

I imagine Chris knows he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in Hades even if the entire election system hadn't been stolen by the democrats and the deep-state Judiciarchs. He just wants to campaign for the sucker's money, and pocket whatever he can con them into giving.

What he meant to say is that he’s considering being the GOP candidate who runs to make the next sham election appear legitimate. Sort of like the team of slow-witted white guys who play against the Harlem Globetrotters. He will attract a few votes and maybe win Oklahoma. But the concession speech would be early, sincere and all his own. Favorite RINO virtue signal.

I lived in NJ during his tenure. I thought he was a decent governor, certainly better than the clown in the office now. But his presidential run in 2016 was a disaster and a half. I don't see that 2024 would be any different.
