My mantra throughout the investigation of Spygate has been no excitement without an indictment. My pessimism is warranted by John Durham's track record, and the unlikelihood of getting 12 residents of Washington willing to indict those who lied and spied on President Donald John Trump.

Two officials in Georgia have provided statements regarding a viral video that shows a contractor for Dominion Voting Systems in the state handling a USB drive while moving between computers.
The two-minute video of the incident, shared on Dec. 1, showed the election contractor moving a USB drive from a computer to a laptop. He then stands at the laptop for a while before leaving the area with the USB stick. During the incident, another man in a red hoodie sits nearby.
The video was first uploaded to YouTube and shared via Twitter by software and cyber security analyst Ronald Watkins, (Snip) was taken late Monday or late Sunday.

Six people have been charged and more are being sought in a 'birth tourism' and money laundering scheme which saw dozens of pregnant Turkish woman pay up to $10,000 to give birth on Long Island to secure US citizenship for their children. Details of the indictment were unveiled by US Attorney Seth DuCharme in a Wednesday morning press conference. According to DuCharme, the illicit plot saw 117 women travel from Turkey to Suffolk County to give birth to the children before returning home.(Snip) Officials said Wednesday it 'would be unlikely' that citizenship of the children born under the scheme would be suspended.

Mike Kelly, Sean Parnell, and other Republican plaintiffs filed an emergency injunction request with Justice Samuel Alito to stay certification of the election in Pennsylvania. They want the Supreme Court to review the state supreme court’s unanimous dismissal of their complaint against Act 77, by which they hoped to overturn the election and put the choice of electors in the hands of legislators.It’s no surprise to see the appeal to the Supreme Court, but it’s a very adept appeal on the issues, if not the remedies.

An Apple Valley man who was injured after being shot during an incident with St. Paul police faces multiple charges in connection to events leading up to the shooting. A criminal complaint states 31-year-old Joseph Javonte Washington has been charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and second-degree assault. Tuesday, it was announced that Dean is in the process of being fired by the St. Paul Police Department.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging Americans to avoid all travel to Mexico as cases of COVID-19 continue to surge across the Central American nation.
Within the last two weeks, Mexico has surpassed more than 1.11 million confirmed cases of coronavirus and reported over 105,000 deaths – the fourth highest virus death toll in the world, behind the US, Brazil and India respectively.
Mexico also has the second-highest case fatality rate per every 100,000 residents of any country in the world at 9.5 percent. Only Yemen, with a fatality rate of 28.3 percent, has fared worse.

The county that includes Chicago has seen more than 900 homicides thus far this year compared to 675 in all of last year.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office says that 2020 is the first year since 2016 and just the second time since 1996 that there have been at least 900 homicides.

CNN said it is involving "law enforcement" after James O'Keefe, the founder of the right-wing group Project Veritas, crashed a morning editorial call with CNN President Jeff Zucker and said Project Veritas would be releasing tapes from previously recorded phone calls.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a statement on Tuesday in response to the backlash from an article by The Associated Press which quoted Attorney General William Barr saying that “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

Maricopa County GOP chairwoman Linda Brickman on Nov. 30 testified before members of the Arizona State Legislature that she personally observed votes for President Donald Trump being tallied as votes for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden when input into Dominion machines.
Brickman, the GOP head of one of the country’s largest counties and a veteran county elections worker, submitted her testimony in a sworn affidavit under penalty of perjury. She testified that she and her Democratic partner witnessed “more than once” Trump votes default and shift to Biden when they were entering votes into Dominion machines from ballots that couldn’t be read by machines.
