From the second year that we were in this country, we have celebrated Thanksgiving as all Americans do. In the first year, we were invited to some friends' house. We took their hospitality as an example, and we have tried to do the same during the Thanksgiving holiday. We invite anybody who wants to be invited, from college students to friends who, like us, immigrated to this country. We do not have any family members here in the U.S. but invite friends to experience this shared American holiday. We share our fried turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry chutney,

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a stinging rebuke of her conservative colleagues, calling out what she perceived as hypocrisy and false equivalencies in Wednesday’s ruling against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID-19 restrictions. In a 5-4 decision, the court’s conservative block of justices granted a temporary injunction requested by a Catholic Diocese and two Orthodox Jewish synagogues. By so doing, the court narrowly held that Cuomo’s regulations limiting attendance at religious services likely violated the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment. That is, to the extent that the fault does not lie with our neighboring states; the Sturgis motorcycle rally, along with Wisconsin’s more laissez faire approach, has assumed a Goldstein-like level of villainy in the Walz administration’s press briefings. The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday night blocked New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo from reimposing strict attendance caps at worship services in areas hit hard by the novel coronavirus. The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. The order was also the first in which Justice Amy Coney Barrett played a decisive role. Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

As more evidence floods in that the 2020 elections were rife with an obvious mountain of voter fraud, it’s becoming increasingly clear that President Trump is going to be reelected.(Snip)First and foremost, we must prepare to address the unhinged reactions from peers and those we know on social media. They’re going to take mainstream media’s word for it that when it happens,(Snip)Second, there will be violence. Lots of it.(Snip)Lastly, we need to hold the weak or fake conservatives accountable. They are either giving up too easily or never supported President Trump at all. Either way, their treachery must not be forgotten.

How many Krakens are there? As of late Wednesday night, mere moments before Thanksgiving officially hit the calendar, attorney Sidney Powell and her team released not one but two versions of her much-anticipated “Kraken” lawsuits. She released the first in Georgia, going after Governor Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and the state election board.(Snip)The second lawsuit released late Wednesday was for Michigan. There, Dominion Voting Systems played a much larger role in the lawsuit. It discusses security issues that, at the very least, invoke doubt in the sanctity of the results.

Prominent defense attorney Sidney Powell sued Georgia's top officials late Wednesday, alleging in federal court that the GOP-run state government permitted a massive voter fraud scheme that rigged the Nov. 3 election in favor of Democrat Joe Biden. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta on behalf of several Georgia residents, electors and Republican Party officials and named Gov. Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and state election board members as defendants.
