Oregon Gov. Kate Brown called on the state’s residents to “uninvite” people from their Thanksgiving gatherings. “This is hard, but making difficult sacrifices now will save lives,” Brown said on Twitter. “This Thanksgiving, keep it small. Uninvite them.” (Tweet) A video attached to the tweet scrolls through a list of people to “uninvite” from a Thanksgiving gathering, including “your new boyfriend,” “drunken uncle,” “argumentative aunt,” “favorite aunt,” “bragging brother,” “best friend,” “half-sister,” and “vegan niece." “This holiday, keep your gathering small,” it continued. “Limit groups. Save lives.” Brown ordered a two-week restriction limiting indoor and outdoor gatherings to six people

How about the lunatic liberal? If they want to control every aspect of your life, give them a bus ticket to the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

She should just publish two things: 1) the list of people we are allowed to have in our homes 2) contact info for authorities so we can have family arrested who invite people the state has not authorized us to gather with. Then we'd all know exactly what's on her mind. I'm searching on Amazon for a yellow star to stitch on my clothing. For safety.

Completely, absolutely uconstitutional. Why aren't multiple lawsuits being filed in every state where the democrat overlords are trying to achieve total dictatorship? Perhaps there are many being filed, but the MSM chooses to downplay them due to the media's complicity in the destruction of American values. George Orwell was only off 36 years in naming his novel 1984.

I am so embarrassed. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. My kids were born there. Today I see two of my former cities, Seattle and Portland, inhabited by incompetent individuals with no awareness of their responsibility to be good stewards of once beautiful communities. These politicians already tolerate homelessness, drug abuse, arson, violence and intimidation of citizens. How did they get ever get elected? A reasonable person might wonder how much mail in voting had to do with it.

A significant provision making any student loan forgiveness tax-free has been included in the $1.9 trillion federal coronavirus stimulus package that’s working its way through Congress and will likely soon be signed into law. Currently, any student loan debt canceled by the government can be considered taxable and levied at the borrower’s normal income tax rate. For example, if someone earns $50,000 a year, and was at a 22% tax rate, and received $30,000 in student loan forgiveness, they might be slapped with a $6,600 bill from the IRS. Soon, borrowers may be off the hook from these payments. What

Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill postponed the start of Derek Chauvin's trial in the killing of George Floyd on Monday, after an appeals court ordered him to reconsider his original decision to dismiss a third-degree murder charge against the former Minneapolis police officer. The decision came as a pool of potential jurors waited to start the selection process. The delay comes as Chauvin's defense attorney, Eric Nelson, said he is finalizing an appeal asking the Minnesota Supreme Court to review the question of whether Cahill should consider reinstating the murder charge. I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
