Quebec City stabbing suspect facing multiple charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder

A 24-year-old man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing attack in Quebec City on Halloween night.
Earlier on Sunday, police identified the suspect as Carl Girouard of Ste-Therese, which is located about 30 minutes north of Montreal.
Two of the victims who lost their lives were identified by the province's coroner's office as 56-year-old Francois Duchesne and 61-year-old Suzanne Clermont. Five other people were injured, some seriously, in the attack, but police say they’re expected to survive.

The race appears to be tightening in Nevada in the final days of the election according to a Trafalgar Group survey released Thursday evening.
Former Trump challenger Hillary Clinton won Nevada four years ago by just over 27,200 votes, and recent polling of the state indicates that Trump could be in for yet another tight race in the Silver State. The Trafalgar Group survey, taken October 28-29 among 1,024 likely voters, shows Biden with a 2.3 percent lead, garnering 49.4 percent to the president’s 47.1 percent. About 1,000 of President Donald Trump’s supporters cruised through Houston, Texas, in a “Trump Train” car parade that stretched for several miles.
Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo asked those not participating in the parade to avoid traveling on South Loop 610 due to the massive amount of traffic the event caused. “We just want to keep people safe,” Acevedo said in a live stream of the parade, according to KTRK. “There are a thousand vehicles here that will be looping.”

Police declared a march against capitalism and police violence a riot in Portland, Oregon, after demonstrators smashed the windows of businesses and threw projectiles at cops. The damage was caused during the “Capitalism is Scary” march that began around 7:15 p.m. Saturday from Irving Park, Oregon Live reported. But as the group marched south to Portland’s convention center, some of the protesters smashed the windows of buildings, including a bank, a real estate agency, two phone company stores, a hotel and a Starbucks, the outlet reported. President Trump made a presidential proclamation this week to honor American citizens who have been killed by illegal aliens.
In a proclamation, Trump announced that November 1 will now be known as the “National Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens,” honoring Americans whose lives were taken by foreign nationals illegally in the United States.
Trump’s proclamation reads:
On this National Day of Remembrance, we pause to honor the memory of every American life so egregiously taken from us by criminal illegal aliens. As sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, and as American citizens, these precious lives are an irreplaceable piece of our national community.

The computer was found in the Massachusetts offices of celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow during a raid and seized by Drug Enforcement Administration agents, according to a new report from NBC.
Ablow’s medical license was suspended after he was accused of sexually exploiting patients and other professional misconduct. He has not been charged with a crime and has denied the allegations.
Hunter Biden has not been the target of the search or the investigation and his lawyer ultimately got the laptop back, the network reported.
