have seen this movie before. Crime and violent crime were on the rise. Unemployment was high. Many Americans were concerned about their future. A presidential candidate was running with a character platform. He basically said, “Vote for me because I am honest.” The candidate criticized his opponent of “hate and racism.” The candidate painted America a dark country. He also told Americans that they suffered from malaise, a disease of the soul. And he would be the leader that would restore the soul of America. A “gloomy” candidate. Another candidate offered optimism. He promised to make America great again. Instead of asking his fellow countrymen to trust their government,

Contrary to the prevailing wisdom among the cognoscenti, history and current circumstances suggest President Donald Trump is going to defeat former Vice President Joe Biden — for some of the very same reasons he came from behind in 2016 to shock the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. It is understandable why conventional wisdom is getting this wrong again. Trump is down in the polls, the nation’s demographics are continuing to change in ways unfavorable to Trump and Republicans, the coronavirus has wrought death and economic destruction throughout the land and Trump’s personality provokes stormy oceans of antipathy — perhaps most crucially among women and suburban voters. In the last twenty years, Democrats have twice lost presidential elections when the Electoral College has “trumped” the popular vote, leading to Republican victories. First came George W. Bush’s presidential victory over Al Gore in 2000, then Trump’s shocker over Hillary Clinton in 2016. Thus, radical Democrats demand the abolition of the Electoral College. “It’s undemocratic,” they say. “The will of the people should rule,” they cry. Yes, it’s undemocratic, which, believe it or not, is an exceptionally good thing. That’s because the United States is not, and never has been a “democracy.” The word “democracy” is not in the Constitution. In fact, the founders hated pure, unrestrained democracies.

The Daily Mail on Sunday morning (UK time) published additional details of what is contained on Hunter Biden’s “National Security Nightmare” laptop, and statements from forensic experts vouching for its authenticity. The laptop was first reported on by the New York Post, and almost immediately Twitter and Facebook worked to scrub the story from its platforms and to cast doubt upon its authenticity. In the Daily Mail report, experts say that the material on the laptop wasn’t encrypted or protected by even basic two-factor authentication,

In 2016, I had a straightforward question for Black Americans: “What do you have to lose? Black Americans don’t have to ask what they have to lose in 2020. Instead, the question should now be, “how much more do we have to gain?” As your President, I’ve done more for the Black community than Democrats like Joe Biden have done in 47 years, and we are going to do so much more. As part of our efforts, we’ve unveiled my second term agenda called the “Platinum Plan” for Black Economic Empowerment, to ensure even more Black Americans have the opportunity to succeed over the next four years.

The final episode of “Saturday Night Live” before Tuesday’s presidential election went much further than the show did in 2016. Playing Hillary Clinton four years ago, Kate McKinnon looked at the audience and said, “We can’t tell you who to vote for, but on Tuesday, we all get a chance to choose what kind of country we wanna live in.” Vague enough, right? Well, this week was a hell of a lot more specific than that.As former Vice President Joe Biden, Jim Carrey took on a Halloween theme during the cold open and read a parody version of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven.”

Democrats brought their firepower to Michigan, a critical swing state that helped seal President Trump's 2016 victory. Former Vice President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama made their first joint 2020 campaign stop on Saturday afternoon in Flint before heading to Detroit. They hit Trump hard on his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and said it's time to restore decency to the White House. During the Obama Biden Halloween campaign stop Saturday, they were joined by Motown legend Stevie Wonder, whose “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” became an anthem of sorts for the Obama campaign in 2008.

A huge group of Americans joined a parade Friday in Houston, Texas, to show their support for President Donald Trump. “Hundreds of people caravanned down Memorial Drive from St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, in what one supporter said was a ‘warm Trump Texas welcome’ for vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris,” according to ABC 13. President Trump made a presidential proclamation this week to honor American citizens who have been killed by illegal aliens. In a proclamation, Trump announced that November 1 will now be known as the “National Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens,” honoring Americans whose lives were taken by foreign nationals illegally in the United States. Trump’s proclamation reads: On this National Day of Remembrance, we pause to honor the memory of every American life so egregiously taken from us by criminal illegal aliens. As sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, and as American citizens, these precious lives are an irreplaceable piece of our national community.

By coincidence, I was watching High Noon this week, just as polls showed President Trump trailing Biden by 9 to10 points nationally. Like the hero of High Noon, the president sometimes seems to be fighting alone. It's high noon in America, and after the election, only one man will be left standing. For anyone who hasn't seen it, High Noon is the story of Will Kane (Gary Cooper) and his bride, Amy (Grace Kelly), who are married just as the vicious Miller gang returns to town seeking revenge against Kane for sending their leader to prison. Though he is free to leave town,

Ablow’s medical license was suspended after he was accused of sexually exploiting patients and other professional misconduct. He has not been charged with a crime and has denied the allegations. Hunter Biden has not been the target of the search or the investigation and his lawyer ultimately got the laptop back, the network reported.

Oh, those pesky laptop computers, and the problems they create for corrupt politicians in election years! Just two or three weeks prior to the Presidential election in 2016, it was files on the Anthony Weiner laptop that became public as the subject of an FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton, which helped seal defeat in her 2016 Presidential bid. This year, less than two weeks before the 2020 Presidential election, information retrieved from the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop revealing international money laundering and politically corrupt deals struck with the Chinese using the Biden name -- with new details breaking every day --

California governor Gavin Newsom's recent ridiculous Thanksgiving edicts call for gatherings to be restricted to only three households and held outside. Masks are to be worn before and after eating and between bites. No singing or chanting is allowed and the meal is to last no longer than two hours. These are just a few of the restrictions dreamed up to slow the spread of the Wuhan virus. What these arbitrary proclamations illustrate is the mind of a power-hungry dictator. Under the pretense of keeping people safe, governors like Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, J.B. Pritzker, Jay Inslee, Kate Brown, Gretchen Whitmer, and Tom Wolf
