There’s been a lot of debate lately on what generation of Americans is the most to blame for the current failures of the US as a society.
Baby Boomers blame millennials for being weak, lazy and entitled;
millennials blame boomers for ruining the system before they were ever born while enjoying the fruits of a more prosperous economy.
The real answer is that it’s partially the fault of BOTH generations, but not for the reasons often argued. The boomer vs. snowflake conflict is a controlled narrative that deliberately avoids the greater issues at hand. Yes, the newest generations of Americans have been utterly pussified,

It's the G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate that has been introduced into the environment.

Scary stuff. Accidentally, or with malice aforethought, we have created millions of wimps, snowflakes, whatever you want to call the weak willed, weak kneed, incapable, untrained, literally physically weak children and young adults.
I know that there are many good parents out there, working to fight these tendencies, and keeping their kids out of the government schools where no conflict is permitted, and the only solution for a problem is to "let the teacher handle it". Always cede power to authority, never stand up for yourself. If someone hits you, you MUST NEVER hit back. That is a really wrong training paradigm. Never attack, but be willing to defend, with force and if necessary, overwhelming force.
Remember when Ralphie went all crazy on the bigger "tougher" bully, Scutt Farkus? Yeah, we need kids who won't start fights, won't be bullies, but if they are pushed to their limit. they will fight back. In my experience as a kid, bullies really fall apart if you fight them hard. Perhaps today, with the racial gangs and propensity of guns and knives, things may be different, but in my day (60s) fists were all that were used.
To rephrase Wylon Jennings, "Mommas don't let you babies grow up to be wimps!" A busted lip, a broken arm from falling out of a tree, a skinned knee sliding into base, all those things make kids tougher and ultimately are good for them.

"pussified" would be the logical result of "families" tht have no father at home and a woman at the helm. We are to blame. And the government which helps divorce, helps isolating husbands from wives and more.
An example: I often answer the phone, and if my wife is away, the person on the other will not speak to me if they called for my wife.
Part of the problem is a federal law called HIPPA, which was pushed through a Dem congress vy planned parenthood and the homo lobby. This law is not our friend. Get rid of it.

This has been going on FOR YEARS! My son was the product of public school education in the 80's, where they were more interested in his happiness than in his ability to solve common problems. I fought it out with them until they threatened me with social services taking him away from me, so I let them do what they wanted. They pushed him from grade to grade, no matter how poorly he performed "because it was stressful to fail a grade". I did everything I could to try to motivate him to better performance, and more attention, but the school system had him 8 hours a day, and I got less than 4. They pushed him all the way through high school and he graduated. Then life T-boned him . He couldn't hold a job. He couldn't solve the smallest problem. He couldn't afford things he wanted. His life sucked. He slowly came around to what I had thrown at him all those years. Honesty. work hard, take aim and hit your target, solve your problems. It took him 10 years to unlearn his schooling and learn life. The short term thinkers in the school system left me with the long term problem they happily left me, but he was happy...they thought. Now it seems that was the plan the whole time.
Why am I not surprised??

Well written and showing us the way. But maybe needs some examples as to how to proceed.
My boys played sports. I noticed with basketball, if the ball came near but there was also an opponent near, they would politely hold up and let the opponent take the ball.
I started by paying them one dollar for every foul called against them. Didn’t happen often enough. Next I enrolled them in hockey.
They learned they could hit and take a hit. It made all the difference. And they can skate backwards.

Boomers parented to make their children feel happy, and they made every effort to fix it if they were not happy. Added to that was "guilt parenting" by divorced parents or parents who worked too much.
You've heard of helicopter parents...they hover over their children; but the real problem was lawn mower parents...they clear all obstacles for them.

It's worth looking into the liberal and often unjustified use of Ritalin on the last several generations as well.

Hmmm. A marine. An entrepreneur, and a snowflake, although very hard working. Ages: 21-25. Bred in suburbs of Boston of all places. Breeding outs.

This is a must-read.
It’s gonna be a tough road ahead for the generation that was protected from stress and failure. Let’s pray America survives.

One of my children swears it's the soy in most products. I am blaming Dr Spock for the parents not spanking them.
It's also the attachment to electronics brain washing them. A lost generation.

One can spot these “pussified” Americans a mile away! They have really soft hands and a large bulge in the back of their neck from spending their lives online! They have never developed a blister and certainly have no calluses anywhere! I couldn’t wait to get out of my parents home, get married and buy a home! Have a friend in this generation. Called him the other day. His wife’s voice announced “this is ******’s phone, please leave a message!!! I would NEVER let someone else record my VM message!!! Wow!
