WILMINGTON, Del. — Joe Biden was running late. Again. On a recent Friday, he’d already apologized for the delayed start to a speech, then taken more questions than expected at a subsequent press conference. When it was finally over, Biden’s motorcade sped away quickly enough to leave behind one of the journalists traveling with it. (Snip) He was more than 90 minutes late to a speech and another press conference in Wilmington last week, and arrived at a CNN town hall in Pennsylvania the following day with barely 20 minutes to clip on a microphone and prepare to go on air.

90 minutes late to me means, he wasn't fit to be in public. He's there, it's not like he's working two jobs or something. This is his life right now. There is no excuse not to be on time. Unless, he isn't presentable.

Back before I retired and was working "protection details", every Democrat that came to town was always late and every Republican was either on time or early.

He's trying to keep it real. Black people call such lateness being on "colored people time."

Joe is late because his batteries run down and he needs to get that shot of medicine President Trump referred to. As the timing of these shots can't be scheduled in advance, they cause unscheduled delays. As the days go by the public knows less and less of Biden's use of time. He's being extremely careful to hide all evidence of him taking these medicines.

No candidate runs like a Swiss watch...and that includes PDT. I waited in one rally crowd for more than two hours beyond the advertised start time...

Hope this won't offend anyone. Quid Pro Joe reminds me of a line from the classic comedy from the 50s Amos and Andy. Kingfish's mother in law tells him: What do you need a watch for. You ain't got no place to go and no one cares when you get there.

Biden is following the Bill Clinton tradition. Never be on time. Make people wait. But I suspect with Sleepy Joe his handlers have to wait for the meds to kick in.

In fairness, Joe got stuck in the shower. The shampoo said “shower, rinse, repeat”. Aids had to come get him.
In seriousness, people who are late consistently are late because they don’t care about you or your time. Bad people.

This was SOP for the Clintons. Obama chose when he wanted to be late. He wanted to make a point or statement. The worse was when the "family" was bonding over dinner, Bibi was left sitting in a chair all alone in some hallway! So sad.

Poster 2, it is my understanding, Capitol Hill employees say Republican members of Congress are nicer. Too bad those employees likely vote democrat.

What pressing matter of state could make Slow Joe 90 minutes late? He has none.

If Old Sleepy Joe wants someone to vote for him, he should respect their time. He should not make people wait for him. He is not that important. Wasn't Obama chronically inconsiderate and late all the time too. Just goes to show what Democrats think of others....

But....But.... It takes ol' Sniffy a lot of TIME to get through those HUGE Crowds of people who come to his rallies!
/sarc off.
Seriously, there is an old saying (Confucious?) that:
"Promptness..... is the Courtesy of Kings."
A good leader is on time.... he knows that his time is valuable, and so is the time of the people he is meeting with.
Bubba and Zero had, well, zero 'class'.

It's pretty subtle so far, but the media is starting to vent a bit about their candidate. Chronically late, few Q&A sessions, few campaign appearances, and no theme or focus. They'll have some ready-made excuses when he bombs out in November.
