BOURBONNAIS, IL — A Bourbonnais man has been arrested on accusations he threatened to shoot three people in a Jewel-Osco parking lot Tuesday night for not wearing masks inside the store. According to the Daily Journal, 60-year-old Marc L. Bourdreau was in a checkout line inside the store in the 600 block of Main Street NW while three people were behind him, not wearing masks, Bourbonnais Deputy Police Chief Dave Anderson said. Bourdreau is accused of pulling a handgun on them in the store's parking lot after he waited for them to come outside, and asked them, "How would you like to get shot in the head?”

A CCP does not allow you to brandish, let alone threaten, someone with a firearm if your life is not endangered. Maybe this hot - headed cretin considered someone not wearing a mask gave him an infinitesimal risk of the WuFlu. And maybe the local prosecutor isa Soros-funded black babe who will let him skate.

It isn't every day that I see the Village of Bourbonnais, Illinois in headlines. It is where I lived in my late high school years and where my undergrad university is located. Thankfully, I am too young to have gone to school with Bourdreau. I wonder whether he was off his meds -- or just a Democrat -- or both.

I have been verbally accosted by someone who saw me remove my mask in a parking lot before I got into my car. Thankfully I have never been threatened by someone with a weapon. I am not afraid of contracting this virus but I certainly AM afraid of insane leftwing nutjobs who are suffering from very extreme cases of TDS and who have deputized themselves as mask vigilantes.

A suburban Chicago school district has said students of color will get the first chance to return for in-person learning when schools reopen, citing "a pandemic" of "inequity and racism, and classism" that preceded COVID-19. Because District 65, which includes students from Evanston and Skokie, won't force teachers to work on-site, school buildings may not be able to accomodate all students who would like to come back to their classrooms. In that event, Superintendent Devon Horton reportedly said, the district would give priority to "Black and Brown students," and others it considered to be "marginalized" or "oppressed."

In her Wednesday DNC convention speech, Hillary Clinton implied that a “foreign adversary” could sway the U.S. elections, and suggested that an electoral college victory without a corresponding popular vote win would render the victor’s election illegitimate. “Vote for honest elections, so we, not a foreign adversary, choose our president,” Clinton implored viewers. “And don’t forget, Joe and Kamala can win by three million votes and still lose–take it from me. Michelle Obama famously said, “When they go low, we go high.” She should have reminded her husband before he gave his speech for the online Democrat convention. Standing in a room in Philadelphia, with the words “Writing the Constitution” over his right shoulder, Obama gave a speech that almost wholly ignored Biden, whom he’d ostensibly come to praise. Instead, Obama viciously attacked Trump and did a constitutional rewrite that allowed him to cast Trump as a constitutional threat. From the start, Obama was up to his old tricks. Even while he wanted to use the Constitution to challenge Trump, he couldn’t praise it.

In a recent OpEd from The Guardian, author Larry Elliot opines on the frequency of obesity among low-income households in the U.K., and points out that the problem “in the U.S. mirrors that of the U.K.” Elliot goes on to proclaim, that, “there will be less obesity when people can afford to eat better.” The premise is that poor folks are victims of one injustice or another; in Elliot’s case, he claims they are unable to afford healthy food. This notion has been floating around for several years now, particularly as it relates to children, and is one that is frequently parroted by the left in America.
