The Democratic Party Is

During the week of August 17, thousands of Democrats elected to serve as delegates to their party’s national convention will log on to their computers to view the proceedings. They will cast electronic votes on the party platform and for their party’s nominee to challenge Donald Trump for the presidency. About one-quarter of this year’s delegates are Bernie Sanders supporters. Most of them are progressive political activists—and many are first-time participants in a national convention. This virtual event will not be the experience they expected. And while all of those with whom I’ve spoken are supportive of the precautions being

This old rag sometimes lets the truth slip out. 80% of Bernie Bros are furious about how the Democrat convention is being handled. Now they'll have to be content yelling at their computer screens.

The more they are falsely led to believe that they have it in the bag the easier it will be to convince them that something nefarious happened to steal the election and to justify another four years of subversion. I'd bet somewhere deep inside the commie cave the democrats knew Hillary was in trouble.

They can expect all kinds of technical problems as retired geezers try to figure out, in real time, how to use video conferencing software. All those Bernie bros and liberal women are not the most logical or technogical kind of people. They will find every bug, every glitch possible that will delay and halt the software operations. Then you get into the "point of order," "point of inquiry, " "motion to suspend the rules," etc. that a bunch of first-timers will plan to use to upset the Democrat elite masters and what you have is a huge mess. Joe will be in his basement, unaware of everything. If there was ever a time for a nomination to be stolen, I would guess that this would be time for it.

Looking back at the number of total losers the demoslut party had running for president, they had nothing but disappointment in their future. The sad fact is, there will be a number of states Biden will win. This election should be over before it even starts, but instead there will be millions of brain dead idiots voting for Biden making this election closer then it should.

#3 I live in the bluest of blue states, New Mexico, two cities determine our elections. Obama and Hillary carried this state's electoral votes and so will brain dead Biden. Our state is conservative but the illegals in Albuquerque and homosexual in Santa Fe rule the state.

Poster #1 says "I'd bet somewhere deep inside the commie cave the democrats knew Hillary was in trouble." I agree completely and have thought so since just after the election. How else to explain the frantic efforts in the White House to get Trump? They knew, all right. Not sure if the media knew - some of them must have - but those at the top knew. Obama never liked Hillary and would have been glad enough for her defeat except for what it would do to his own legacy. Ramona (the Pest)

Like # 4 I live in the bluest of the blue states and the poorest of all states. Thanks to the Democrats! It's very frustrating politically but I balance it with the great things about living here. Basically, ever since Pete Domenici retired from the senate, the Republican party has been neutered in NM with the exception of Susana Martinez. The other side totally runs the state legislature and the two U S Senators are feckless back benchers. The current Governor is a mini Whitmer from Michigan and is following the party line and dictates to the tee. There's a lot of angst growing throughout the state from smaller towns in the south that have been shut down with barely being touched at all by the virus. There's only one way the conservatives win and that's to make the people feel safe. Albuquerque has 4 times more crime per capita than any other city in the country. This is why president Trump wanted to send the Feds here to protect the people. We need a bombastic type of leader with a loud voice to stir the pot and get the people excited. Trump's rally here last year was awesome. There are many conservative folks who want a change from the old Democrat welfare state. New Mexico needs to be reinvented with the right voice and leadership to bring it into the 21st century.

Of course the party is not connecting with the Socialist Bernie Bros. Just like keeping a problematic Biden in his basement is deliberate to keep the voters from being confronted with his scatterbrained condition, so too does the party NOT want to have a public discussion with the Socialists. The convention is well covered and the party knows it is time to downplay their Socialist leanings for the general election. But the Socialists don't know how to shut up and the broader public, who is just starting to listen in preparation for the election will not receive a party halfway to Communism well. It is better the party ignore their problem children until they can make better use of them later.

Am confused. When I read posts on lucianne I feel good with posters predicting that PT will be reelected, we will keep the Senate and maybe retake the House. But other places on the web say that PT has less than a 5% chance of being reelected. All I know is somebody doesn't know what they are talking about. And I hope that is them.

LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer traveled to Delaware last weekend to meet with Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's first known in-person session with a potential running mate as he nears a decision. Whitmer visited Biden last Sunday, according to two high-ranking Michigan Democrats who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. The first-term governor of the battleground state has long been on his short list of possible running mates. Flight records show a chartered flight left Lansing's Capital Region International Airport for Delaware Coastal Airport at 5:33 p.m.

Now, with the multimillionaire Rice in contention to be Joe Biden’s running mate, that investment is again drawing fire from progressives. They say her extensive past holdings in an array of industries at odds with liberal causes — particularly the Keystone investment — could make her ill-suited to be vice president in a Democratic administration. “It raises my eyebrows to think the potential vice president of the United States would have financial ties

Earlier today, John posted the video of Joe Biden snapping at a reporter who asked him if he has taken a cognitive abilities test. I can understand why Biden resented the question, although it was a fair one, given that the former vice president has claimed to have been tested (in some unspecified way) on his cognition. But to respond by asking the reporter whether he is a junkie was out of line. Biden’s angry response is consistent with the description of him by Steve Silbiger in a guest post for Power Line. Police were called to the Cambria hotel at Katella Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday. When the first officers got there, they found a large group of about 40 people

Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, signed an executive directive on Wednesday ordering state employees to undergo “implicit bias training.” Executive directives allow the Michigan governor to establish procedures or basic policy for employees of the state’s executive branch. According to the directive, current state employees will be required to undergo “implicit bias training” by the end of this year, while new employees must complete the training as part of the hiring process. While various bias training initiatives have been implemented by government offices in recent months, some research shows that the impact of these initiatives is negligible. Whitmer’s directive
