Defenders of California Sen. Kamala Harris are rallying to her support over concerns that she is being viewed skeptically by the advisors vetting possible running mates for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. (Snip) Harris’ allies mobilized this week after Politico reported that the co-chair of Biden’s vetting committee, former Sen. Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut, was still concerned about Harris’ tough debate performance against Biden in June 2019 and that she hasn’t expressed regret. Several California elected officials and labor leaders initiated a call with the vetting team to emphasize that Harris has strong support among labor and political

So, her acolytes are assuring Joe that she has strong support from her fellow Californians. Yeah, that'll work.

What they should be concerned about is how many incremental votes will she bring to an already doddering campaign. On that count Horizontal Harris is a zero. Her dislikeability index rivals the Beast. Her parents are of Jamaican and Indian origin. Were they US citizens at the time of her birth? She might not be eligible.

Well, she would fit Joe’s description of Obama as a “clean, articulate negro.”

Maybe Dodd should refresh his own memory regarding how harshly H.W. Bush was against Reagan when they were running against each other for the nomination. Voodoo economics anyone? Yet Reagan picked Bush to unite the party factions, and his so-called Voodoo economics gave this nation such a good economy that it lasted even into the Clinton administration before it lost air. I suspect that the Biden camp hasn't settled on anyone quite yet. Or they have, but have to figure out how to get around Biden's promise of a minority woman.

Why are these people desperate to be the #2 in a Mondale-level debacle?

Her standing must not be very strong if her own people have to plead for her inclusion.

Her mother immigrated from India in 1960. Her father immigrated from Jamaica in 1961. Kamala was born in 1964. #2 poses a good question: Is Kamala Harris a natural-born citizen of the United States? Her parents would have had to take American citizenship within a few years of their arrivals.
Why does the MSM keep referring to her as an African-American? She´s an American of Indian and Jamaican descent. She´s also a truly terrible candidate.

Personally, I hope they pick her. She is not even as likeable as Hillary was. Kamala is harsh, brash and a tough street talking Broad. There is nothing soft and feminine about her. Add to that she got her first big job by sleeping with a Creep. Most women won't vote for her just for that reason. We think she' not even a full step up above a Hooker! So Yes, make her the VP! I think she's most likely to let Biden smell her Hair!

I guess I will have to offer this example every four years. And at age 81, I don't have many presidential election cycles remaining.
so you people might want to make a copy of my example here, for future use.
Here it is.
A newborn baby, fresh umbillical cord still attached, is deposited at the front door of a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2020. The baby must have been born locally, given the evidence.
The baby, we'll call her Tickelasciouis, is adopted by two physicians working at the hospital, who are a married couple - Helen and Mary.
The baby, Tickelasciouis, grows up to be an outstanding student, very bright, personable, ambitious. Her only negative is that she is heterosexual.Sweet T,(her nickname), by age 25, has served a term on the Omaha City Council, and is elected as a state legislator to the unicameral nebraska state legislative body. And by age 30, sweet T is serving in her first term as a U.S. Senator, defeating a doddering Ben Sasse. (It was a challenging campaign for Sweet T, because Sasse still had not taken a firm position on any issue.)
sweet T continues to be ambitious, and announces her intention to run for U.S. president in 2060.
Is she constitutionally eligible to serve as U.S. President? Think about the situation. We don't know who her birth parents were - we only know that she had to have been born in the immediate vicinity of Omaha, Nebraska.

If Harris is selected as VP, the first campaign ad from the right should show the clip of her accusing Biden of racism.

Sounds like she's losing steam in the VP race. Maybe the vetting staff talked to Willie Brown?
