Herman Cain, with his rich baritone voice and natural showman’s instinct, reinvented himself multiple times over his lifetime: computer analyst, millionaire business executive, political lobbyist, broadcaster, motivational speaker, author and presidential candidate, among others. The Henry County resident was as successful and opinionated as he was unforgettable, but COVID-19 has silenced him, Cain’s current and former employees confirmed on Thursday. He was 74. “We’re heartbroken, and the world is poorer: Herman Cain has gone to be with the Lord,” an employee wrote on Cain’s Instagram page. Correction*

We are losing our solid conservative leaders, Lloyd Marcus, Mike Adams, now Cain. May God help us and give us more voices. May they rest in peace.

Herman Cain has died. Now we will never understand his "999" plan. He was one of the good ones. He will be missed.
RIP.

Two well known black men died in July.
One was a person of high personal achievements, living the American dream.
The other marched in a parade, and captured a permanent legislative position, with no evident legislative achievements.
Herman Cain will be missed.

Herman Cain was a past next door neighbor to friends of ours. Our friends say that Cain was a real good neighbor and a real nice guy. RIP.

OMG! How awful to hear about such a great man passing. I also did not know about Lloyd Marcus. Such a patriot. So sad.
RIP Herman and Lloyd.

Today, I'm a sad conservative. He was my choice when he ran for president..before the left accused him of unsubstantiated charges of sexual harassment, much like Justice Kavanaugh. They derailed a promising presidential bid--because of jealousy. Sick people. Another casualty of Gloria Allred.
However, I believe Mr. Cain, a Christian, is in glory. No more pain, no more politics. My prayers go out to his family and friends. May His initiative, enthusiasm for good, and loyalty be his legacy.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! Let us carry on the fight and be faithful like this man!

My eyes teared up when I read of the passing of one fine gentleman. If anyone deserves an "over the top" funeral, it is he.
R.I.P. Mr. Cain. Heaven is richer we are the poorer.
God bless your family.

It breaks my heart to think that Obama was such a cowardly male that he could not compete with Herman Cain. His staffers knew Cain would pull it off so they dipped into the usual smear tactics and forced Cain to leave the race. Herman Cain would have been light years the better president for our country, and he would not have pulled the racist garbage or apology tour that Obama did. RIP Mr. Cain. Don't worry about running into Obama, for he has a different and hotter destination ahead.

#5 Wonderful point. Thank you for making it.
I read that Mr. Cain said if you are poor in America, it is your own fault.

I am saddened for the loss of an intelligent, educated, kind, Christian, and wonderful man. He earned his successes in life by hard work and common sense. He did not have to and did not use the race card or demonize people. I heard him speak, in person, and listened to his local radio shows when I lived in Atlanta. The world has lost a good and decent man. He loved his family and spoke of them often. My prayers to his wife, Gloria, and his son and daughter whom he raised with his good values. I miss him already.

This guy accomplished a lot. Fed Reserve Board, CEO of a major company, Presidential candidate, radio commentator. He would have been a great president.

We're starting to lose our great generation. I hope there are people who can step up and fill their shoes before the darkness sets in.
We're in for a tough slog. Broken glass cannot describe it.

I've been struggling with this since the news came out. COVID has been applied to an awful lot of deaths, fraudulently, and Mr. Cain was a prominent conservative. And the never Trumpers quickly jumped on and accused Trump of complicity in his death.
And it occurred to me how easily it would be to push a sick old man just that little bit over the edge...
Mind you: I have no cause to suspect this. I don't even know the names of his care-givers. But I know a lot of medical personnel who are rabid anti-Trump, anti-conservative (Hell! Related to some) and I can't help but worry...

As when all great people pass from life to death and thence to Life, my dad would say that ''now he belongs to the ages.'' We were blessed to have him among us.

I wonder if Bush will attend Cain's funeral, or does GW just hang out with Democrats now?
