Former presidential candidate
Herman Cain has died

Original Article

Posted By: snakeoil, 7/30/2020 11:57:23 AM

Herman Cain, with his rich baritone voice and natural showman’s instinct, reinvented himself multiple times over his lifetime: computer analyst, millionaire business executive, political lobbyist, broadcaster, motivational speaker, author and presidential candidate, among others.   The Henry County resident was as successful and opinionated as he was unforgettable, but COVID-19 has silenced him, Cain’s current and former employees confirmed on Thursday. He was 74.  “We’re heartbroken, and the world is poorer: Herman Cain has gone to be with the Lord,” an employee wrote on Cain’s Instagram page.  Correction*

Would have made a fine POTUS. RIP.

Two well known black men died in July. One was a person of high personal achievements, living the American dream. The other marched in a parade, and captured a permanent legislative position, with no evident legislative achievements. Herman Cain will be missed.

Today, I'm a sad conservative. He was my choice when he ran for president..before the left accused him of unsubstantiated charges of sexual harassment, much like Justice Kavanaugh. They derailed a promising presidential bid--because of jealousy. Sick people. Another casualty of Gloria Allred. However, I believe Mr. Cain, a Christian, is in glory. No more pain, no more politics. My prayers go out to his family and friends. May His initiative, enthusiasm for good, and loyalty be his legacy. MAGA!!! KAG!!! Let us carry on the fight and be faithful like this man!

It breaks my heart to think that Obama was such a cowardly male that he could not compete with Herman Cain. His staffers knew Cain would pull it off so they dipped into the usual smear tactics and forced Cain to leave the race. Herman Cain would have been light years the better president for our country, and he would not have pulled the racist garbage or apology tour that Obama did. RIP Mr. Cain. Don't worry about running into Obama, for he has a different and hotter destination ahead.

The whisper campaign against Mr Cain wasn’t from the left, but from of the Romney loving central figures in this salon. Mitt Romney and friends standard MO . Fog the truth, inflate his own background. Cain was a t party voice squelched in 2012 by the usual status quo republicans. He and Palin were trailblazers for Trump. Newt Cain would have ousted Obama in 2012.

I am saddened for the loss of an intelligent, educated, kind, Christian, and wonderful man. He earned his successes in life by hard work and common sense. He did not have to and did not use the race card or demonize people. I heard him speak, in person, and listened to his local radio shows when I lived in Atlanta. The world has lost a good and decent man. He loved his family and spoke of them often. My prayers to his wife, Gloria, and his son and daughter whom he raised with his good values. I've been struggling with this since the news came out. COVID has been applied to an awful lot of deaths, fraudulently, and Mr. Cain was a prominent conservative. And the never Trumpers quickly jumped on and accused Trump of complicity in his death. And it occurred to me how easily it would be to push a sick old man just that little bit over the edge... Mind you: I have no cause to suspect this. I don't even know the names of his care-givers. But I know a lot of medical personnel who are rabid anti-Trump, anti-conservative (Hell! Related to some) and I can't help but worry...

Who needs comedy when you have politics? In the months leading up to the 2020 presidential election, a 2009 HBO clip of late comedian and actor Robin Williams talking about then-Vice President Joe Biden has resurfaced online, quickly going viral on Twitter. In the 30-second video, Williams, who would have turned 69 last month, doesn’t mince words. “There’s always ramblin’ Joe Biden,” said Williams in a stand-up routine. “Joe says s - - t that even people with [Tourette syndrome] go, ‘No.’ ” The resurfaced bit began circulating this week, and it came just days before Biden — the presumptive Democratic nominee — gave a disastrous interview with black and Hispanic journalists.

President Donald Trump and four ex-presidents have all released statements responding to the news that U.S. Rep. John Lewis died Friday night at age 80. Trump, who also ordered flags at the White House and on federal property to be flown at half-staff on Saturday, said on Twitter he is “saddened” to hear Lewis was gone and sent prayers to his family. A recent landmark poll of 20,000 citizens undertaken by the Knight Foundation and Gallup found that Americans’ hope for and trust in an objective media is all but lost. They see not only an ever-growing partisanship in news reporting but a determination by the mainstream media to push a political agenda instead of honestly disseminating the news. While generic faith in the media has been gradually declining over recent decades, the precipitous drop in trust and questions about what motivates the mainstream media can be traced to June 2015 and Donald Trump’s entry into the presidential sweepstakes.

A common, though not universal, feature of prominent left-wing district attorneys is the backing of political organizations funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros. The New York Times has credited Soros with pioneering the “push to overhaul prosecutors’ offices” across the country.
