Tuesday, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis.
"Due to racism, Black, Indigenous and people of color in Hennepin County statistically have poorer educational outcomes, earn less, and are less likely to own homes or have access to quality health care and jobs than White people," the county said in a statement. "These disparities have lifelong impacts, including higher disease rates, and, as we're seeing now, higher rates of COVID-19."
The resolution calls for the county to advocate for policies that, "improves outcomes for Black, Indigenous and communities of color."
Through the resolution, the county will also support initiatives that dismantle systemic racism.

Everything in the first statement is true, except "Due to racism..." It should read, "Due to Democrat progressive policies...:

Don't know which spread faster, the Chinese virus or Democrat insanity. Whichever, they're both useless.

The so-called War on Poverty (democrat sponsored) was supposed to take care of those problems 60 years ago! Wha hoppen? The board would be hard pressed to answer that.

Stupidity is more of a public health problem. Considering the current product of today’s educational system they have achieved the desired results.

Remind me never to set foot in Hennepin County again---- even to transit MSP airport. Coupla years back I had a pretty good just-for-fun three days in Minneapolis, but even then too many Somaliants. Good memories, but alas never again. Mogadadishu on the Mississippi.

They wouldn't dare call it what it actually is: pandering crisis.

Per Wikipedia:
The racial makeup of the county was 74.4% White, 11.8% Black or African American, 0.9% Native American, 6.2% Asian, 3.4% from other races, and 3.2% from two or more races. 6.7% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
So, Indigenous is presumably the 0.9% Native American.
3.2% are of two or more races
Education is nearly all paid by local property taxes.

It is if you are a victim of the feral gangs that go polar bear hunting for their entertainment. Or if you are a woman who has been burgled and viciously murdered by a black intruder or former boyfriend. Or the black on black violence that is killing thousands of young blacks who want no part of gangs. Yeah, I can see that it could be a public crisis, but not in the way the Left wants it to mean.

The Hennepin county commissioners are admitting that they've done a poor job, but are willing to pander if it will save their place at the public trough.

They used to call boondoggles like this "Snipe Hunts" where you look for something that isn't there and then laugh at the people who were stupid enough to fall for it. If they want white people to pay for everything that blacks need and let them live like prize cattle why don't they just say it?
