FARMINGTON – A natural health store in Farmington has received community backlash in person and on social media after posting an anti-Black Lives Matter and Antifa sign, asking supporters of those groups to shop somewhere else.
Wildly Natural Foods posted a sign earlier this week that said, “If you support ANTIFA and/or BLM please shop elsewhere.” When Sam Bibo, a resident of Durango for the last eight years, saw the sign posted on Facebook, she asked family friends who live in Farmington to visit the store to see if it was true.

You know the perfect reaction to this sign if you don't like it?
Shop elsewhere.
Problem solved.

I haven't been through Farmington in a long time. If I saw a store with a sign like this, I'd stop and be sure to buy something.

Hope their fire insurance is paid up. As a business they failed to think this through - if they had a setup an online-store for mail order they could have easily made up for any customers they lose form taking their suggestion.

Problem is that “Black Lives Matter” has different meanings. To some it is the kindergarten meaning of “be nice to the other kids who don’t look like you” and “share your toys”. But, it is also an international Marxist organization devoted to destruction of America and killing cops.

My local grocery store has a sign up that says they won't sell me food unless I wear a mask. Pain in the butt but for now I will spend my food money SOMEWHERE ELSE. Am I a back lash ???

You will notice that being anti-Black Lives Matter and anti-Antifa automatically makes one a racist. That isn't even logical but then what else should I expect? The majority of blacks are not members of either group and do not approve of burning the country down to get what they want, another stupid concept that defies logic. If you burn everything, what's left for you and why should the people who have to rebuild give you anything further if you are only going to burn that too?
Now why would you suppose that retail workers would follow blacks around the store and why do many stores put popular black products in locked cases? Racism of course.

If you saw that BLM guy on Martha McCallum’s show yesterday day, you know what they actually stand for, and you’d better do what they say.

At one time, we all had the blessing of free speech. That obviously isn't happening any more. And I didn't use to be a rayciss.

Very slanted article! Typical perspective from the non white virtuous innocents complaining about every white person out there.
Sorry, but it takes an immense amount of privilege to claim that you have no racism in you and that you know who's life matters.
When you don't respect others, they won't respect you.

So many years ago, I remember signs posted in retail stores that read, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone". Back then, it was an attempted workaround from the anti segregationist laws going down. From my perspective, it just meant the proprietor was discriminating as to who would behave in a business-like manner. Nowadays, they have legislated the freedom out of making your own business decisions.

The term “Black Lives Matter” relates to two distinct factors that have been conflated by the so-called mainstream (liberal) media and the anarchists who run the Black Lives Matter political movement along with the leaders of ANTIFA and like anarchist organizations.
First the statement “Black Lives Matter” relates to a fact that almost all people in the USA support. Simply that Black Lives do Matter.
Second is the violent political movement named “Black Lives Matter” that along with other anarchist organizations are taking advantage of the American public’s support for the statement “Black Lives Matter” to perpetrate as much criminality as possible through general rioting, arson, looting and any other form of mayhem that they think they can get away with including vandalizing and destroying historic art and statues around the country. Only a very small percentage of Americans support that political movement.
That anarchist criminality has been allowed by leftist and liberal Democrat Mayors in the big inner cities along with some Democrat Governors. There is no doubt that by their silence and actions that the leftist and liberal Democrats in general are supporting those criminal actors by falsely claiming that they are just “Peaceful Protestors” exercising their constitutional rights, while all that is part of Democrat efforts to defeat President Trump in the general election. Don’t be fooled by the fake polls and vote in the general election.

I call BS to the experiences those interviewed for this story about life in Farmington. Farmington has always been a very diverse community like many in New Mexico and the southwest. What a horrible liar of a reporter and a vile attempt to harm a business standing up to bullies.

We need a bunch more brave store owners like this guy. Pretty interesting for a health food store to post this, they usually are way left.
