The Pohlad Family, owners of the Minnesota Twins, announced that they are committing $25 million to combat racial injustice in the Twin Cities.
"Black people have experienced oppression and racism for far too long in this country," said Bill Pohlad, president of the Pohlad Family Foundation. "We condemn racism in all its forms, and we are firmly committed to helping to enact meaningful change.

Prediction: they get slammed for not doing enough and told to "do better" and the number is so low because they're racist.

I don't know what racism is. Could you give a list of all the things that have been happening? And if there is a problem, who has been causing it, and why have they been doing it? Minnesota has been a Democrat run state for as long as I can remember, so why is there such a big problem there? One thing I have noticed is how well dressed the rioters are, and riding around in some really nice cars.

The Pohlad family has plenty of money in their pockets from the big tax payer donation to the Twins beautiful new stadium. Too bad they won't spend the money necessary to field a competitive team. I think we operate on 1/3 of the Yankees salary but must compete with them! Plus...who is going to travel into Minneapomogadishu to watch a game now? I'm not! Park in a ramp and take the train to the stadium? Use to be great fun...not anymore!!!

So, what's new? millions... or rather, billions and billions, indeed i heard the total is closer to two trillion, have been spent trying to "fix the systems" that lead to "racism."
One aspect of the problem is who gets his grubby paws on the cash, i'm thinking people like Sharpton, and the social services agencies. And Democrats.
Democrats have benefitted mightily through all of these many years of so much misery for Black Americans, our fellow citizens.
1) My suggestion is focus on the schools. They must be safe for teachers and students; students must be able to get to school safely, in clean vehicles, and then home.
2) Buildings must be spotlessly clean and well-lit
3) Children must be taught to respect their elders in general, their teachers in particular
Safe environments for student and teachers, conditions ABSOLUTELY essential in order to get good teachers, and happier students who are learning what they need to live productive and better lives.

Where's this so-called oppression coming from? The oppression from not being allowed to rape, murder, maim, and steal? Blacks have more bennies than whitey does including even college slots. Does whitey get any quotas to get cushy free stuff? No, whitey just gets to pay for it all.

That is money down the rabbit hole. Half the black people in the USA are middle-class - and some are very economically advantaged. The percentage that is the 'lower' class has gone down since Trump's economy and men & women can acquire dignity by working for their families. This is looking more like an effort to 'stir the pot' and create division in our fair land. Twenty years ago in Dayton (OH) somebody gave $10 million to the local school district to help 'at risk' youth. Note that the district and the city had mostly black leaders at the time - so in no way could there be a trace of white privilege etc. When the time came to audit the books on the grant - no one could account for where the money had gone!

He might as well have flushed $25 million down the toilet, it would have the same results.

We condemn racism...here's $25 million to make it go away, only to "committed organizations", whatever those may be.
