Seattle's Autonomous Anarchist Zone
Learn a Hilarious Lesson About Theft

Original Article

Have you heard that a six-block section of Seattle has become an anarchist “capitol hill autonomous zone,” or “CHAZ” for short? It has. Police and firefighters vacated their premises and bugged out with a Twitter blessing from Mayor Jenny Durkan. Durkan dithered over the descent of protests into violence for a week before doing much, and when she did much, her choice was to tweet in hasty retreat. Anarchists quickly set up CHAZ to be and do its own thing, as long as that thing conformed with diktats of the CHAZ hierarchy. They put up makeshift signs saying, “You are now leaving the U.S.A.”

If they try to leave CHAZ, for food or whatever, aren't they illegally entering the US? The Border Patrol should show up just to escort the border jumpers right back to CHAZ. WIthout food, or anything else, that they didn't take with them. Wall them IN. Make they cry uncle.

It's tempting. Play their little game, and yes - put up a barrier around this cancerous facade and let it play out. Let them beg for food and lumber and money. They'll need lots of money to pay for all the USA imports they need. Water and electric are things their outside supporters cannot bring, but hey - let 'em pay for it. They can raise their own taxes. Drain their supporters. And not one dime of foreign aid to them.

If the Mayor of Seattle has any guts she would immediately build a tall wall around that Anarchist Zone, turn off all the cell phone towers that cover that area, shut down the electricity going into that Zone, and stop all food from getting into that Zone. In other words starve the Anarchists out. Anyone in the Zone who wants to voluntarily leave can depart through designed exits upon being vetted as legitimate residents or homeless persons, leaving the Anarchists to be identified, arrested, and prosecuted for domestic terrorist acts.

They already, not even 2 days in, have a WARLORD taking charge. He is a black rapper named Raz Simone and he has guns. GUNS. In an anarchist society, he who has the guns has the power. This is going to be quite the live experiment. The terror has begun. Already been beatings and brutality. Soon there will be rape, murder, and crime of all kinds to keep the peasants in line. The white folks may even make up the majority but if they have no guns.. good luck with that.

By all means set up a "border wall" around this pest hole, then keep advancing the wall a bit each day and scarfing up the pests who are "squeezed out" until the walls meet at some pre-planned point. Charge the pests with insurrection and put them in jail for not less than 10 years with no parole or early release. As for their "war lord", put price on his head payable for him dead or alive. That should give everyone a dose of reality and make for an interesting week or so. And by all means, cut off water, electricity, cell service, etc. Maybe even blare some of the dreariest pieces of classical music day and night, just for good measure. BTW, I generally like classical music, but there are some odd pieces which are downright depressing.

February 27, 2008, was, by recollection, a gloomy Wednesday in New York City, except . . . it was actually sunny. The terrible news shades the memory gray — Bill Buckley died that morning at his home in Stamford, Conn. He was 82 and had battled a number of persistent and complicating afflictions. They won out. But he went, as they say, with his boots on — in his study, writing, adding to the millions of words he had already shared with the world on topics from Bach and GPS systems to tax cuts and communism.

Given how flawed human nature is, America has been a remarkable moral achievement. This is the truism that separates the wise man from the fool. This is the truism that separates the left from the anti-left. Those who acknowledge how flawed human nature is compare America to reality. Those who do not, compare America to some utopian image: a country free of inequality, prejudices, intolerance, sexual misbehavior, greed, etc. This divide helps explain why those who hold a biblical worldview -- usually religious Jews and Christians -- are more likely to appreciate America than those who do not.

Of all the books I have written—and there have been many—Radical Son is the one that has touched the most people, and touched them the most deeply. I think the reason for this is that it describes a personal odyssey through the political labyrinths of our times. Its narrative addresses the psychological and religious dimensions of what it means to be a radical and to harbor utopian dreams of re-creating the world and making it just. Secular radicals have variously called these dreams of a heaven on earth, “socialism,” “communism,” or “social justice.” These fantasies are consolations for the flawed world in which we actually find ourselves, and cannot escape.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
