A controversial country concert that was supposed to take place in Kaysville, then in Tooele County, is moving south.
Utah Business Revival announced Wednesday that the concert, featuring country singer Collin Raye, is now happening in Cedar City on Saturday, June 13.
“As they say, three times a charm, and this concert revival will go on because we don’t quit as Americans!” Eric Moutsos, with UBR, stated in a press release.
This change comes after Judge Diana Gibson for the Third District Court upheld an injunction on Friday against the gathering near Grantsville.

It is called FREEDOM, and the right to assemble is part of the First Amendment. It is an enumerated right.
They cannot stop this legally.
Life is all about choices. I am old, but in good health, but I don't think I want to pick a fight with this virus, so I would probably not go. But I will not do anything to prevent those who choose to go from using their freedom as the see fit.
To heck with the government on this. They have no right to stop this.

I'm sure the judge clearled defined the criteria where 1st Amendment rights are suspended for the greated good of the public. She probably included criteria to suspend the 2,4,5,13, 14 and 15 Amendments as well. I bet if a judge were to define the criteria to suspend rights and include the 19th Amendment, all this public good over constitutional rights crap would stop.

If the concert organizers had declared that it was a protest concert for George Floyds memory, they'd have received permission so fast it would make your head spin! The virus doesn't attack looters or protesters, only small business people and conservatives.

Hope they have a wonderful concert. We have nice memories of Cedar City from many years ago.
My wife and I flew into Cedar City many years ago, returning from San Diego. After passing over Hoover Dam, and then over Lake Mead, into the magnificent red rock mountains all around (Zion Park is very close), and flying up the rising canyon from the lake to St. George and then it narrows and rises steeply to Cedar City, was very impressive. Cruising at about 6.500 ft, a mile above the lake and St. George, and by the time we reached Cedar City, we were just about at airport landing pattern altitude. Something like 5,000 feet higher at Cedar City than Lake Mead, IIRC.
Seemed like a beautiful little town, and we spent the night there.

If they don't let them have the concert, they can just protest, riot and burn down a town or two and then they can get donations from the government and do whatever they want. It's a proven theory.

And what does Pierre Delecto have to say about this? Anything? He WAS, after all, elected to represent the interests of Utahns...... right?

This is news. People in Utah obtained a permit to assemble. When's the last time you saw that happen?
