Saturday, the city of Minneapolis issued a number of tips for residents to remain safe as continued violent protests and unrest is expected in reaction to the death of George Floyd. (snip) *Have garden hoses ready and untangled for possible use. *Check your floodlights; door lights; KEEP THEM ON. *Soak down wood fences and surfaces *If you have a Little Library- empty it. *If you have a fire extinguisher- get it ready. *Check on each other- especially older neighbors, and the vulnerable.

Let me guess. Stay home, pull the covers up and wear your mask.

They forgot the most important ones:
Have your firearms at the ready.
Have plenty of ammo nearby.

They forgot that in residential areas there are a lot of Americans who take their 2nd Amendment rights seriously. If the rioters head into residential areas and poke that bear it will not be pretty.

I find it hard to believe the city/state wasn’t ready for this. Look how out of controlled and violent the victim class gets when a Mc Donald’s order is correct.

My brother is 1.5 miles from the trouble. His boys ride their bikes to work. I worry for them. I could never live in MN again, sadly.

The best safety tip is to point an AR-15 at the midsection of a moron demonstrator and pull the trigger if they start to assault you.

How is charging cell phones going to help if cell towers go out? Electricity may go out so yes charging cell phones is good. Towers often have batteries.

What the deal with the Little Library? Based on what I've seen reading is not a pastime for the thugs.

My observation is that these cowards will never dare to enter a suburban tract of homes because they know that there are more guns there than in any police precinct and that the homeowners are much more likely to use them than the cops who are under absurd rules of engagement. In fact you can clearly see how they have absolutely no fear of the cops and purposely antagonize and taunt them repeatedly. By contrast there is NO way they're going to risk getting their heads blown off at somebody's home...which in fact is exactly what I'm prepared to do if any of them are stupid enough to try breaking in to my home.
So, yes, Congress, this is precisely why we have the right to have AR-15s and high capacity magazines.

Gee, what happened to the China virus fears? Aren't all these masses of rioters spreading the virus? Why aren't they in lock down?

I just bought a new CZ-USA semi-auto 12 ga. Six in the tube and one in the chamber. Bring it on. Go ahead...make my day. That's the best safety tip I can give anyone.

#16, I recommend #1 buckshot, about the best balance of pattern density and pellet size at 16 pellets of .30 cal, compared to 9 pellets of .33 cal for 00 buckshot. And there are 2 3/4" length magnum shells which have 20 pellets, and 3" magnum shells with 24 pellets.
A bit harder to find, usually have to order online, but patterns are usually much better, pellet size only 10% smaller.
Carry on, Alice sells good stuff.

The only protection is a gun and prepare yourself for hosing the mob. YOU have to do the job that demonrats refuse to do.

They're trying to hold onto the silliness of the virus when it's big time over. You can't have it both ways, folks. Either you have rioting, looting, and protesting or stay home orders and masks. What to do? Which one will cause the most damage? No, let's have both. When the rioting is over, we'll reissue stay home, stay closed orders, and the lemmings will follow. The rioting is confined to the hoods in most cases because the instigators and fomenters are from the other neighborhoods. Can't let the violence meant for where the useful idiots live to come too close to home. Antifa knows how to keep their violence out of the neighborhoods too. Besides that, gun toting folks might quell the violence before it's had its intended effect. That can't happen.
