You’ve shrugged off Obama’s culpability. And in doing so, you’ve set yourself against liberty and justice. The scales have fallen from my eyes, and the sight before me is a sorry thing indeed. I’m addressing this to several of you whom I know in Washington, D.C. Not all of you, but some of you. I’ve known you for decades. You’re think-tankers, government officials, political journalists, and pundits. Some of you have been all these things. For a long while, I thought you were the good guys. You talked about individual liberty. Some of you identified as conservatives, others as libertarians, still others as classical liberals.

At best the "Right" to which Mr. Bawer refers is the American version of Vichy France. They maintain the facade of representing the US while having completely surrendered to the socialists. Trump shows up and wishes to renew the fight to save the republic and it threatens the "peace" they have arranged with the socialists and the little slice of the pie, position at the trough of corruption they have been allowed to share by the socialist occupation.forces.

Great appeal from the author. As many of US have learned, it will fall on deaf ears, especially for his friends who are so deeply entrenched in the deep state; they sold out long ago.
Because I believe obama was the greatest crime hoax foisted on America, truth about him in articles stand out to me. I despise what he and others have done to this country, and it infuriates me that so many people believe the hoax that he was the greatest president ever. And they speak of it with such pride while remaining ignorant to the damage he's done and unable to offer any concrete evidence to support his greatness. They hate US for standing for something true and real, because they know they're living in fantasy hate land. They don't know how to get out except to hate on US. President Trump represents US, and they pile the hate on him to get to US. I didn't prefer PDT for President at first, but over time I've come to the place where I will stand with him against our internal enemies any day and every day. He truly has our back, and I will have his as well. If that means taking the brunt of hatred that comes from people I know and love, so be it. I got no more time for games; they can all miss me with that. One day they will know that I was right.
Welcome to our world, Mr. Bawer. You are officially now a deplorable, if you weren't before this article.
FTA:
"Yes, Obama had been unmasked as a felon, a traitor. But you and your pals in the corridors of power in New York, Washington, and Los Angeles just kept on with the usual day-to-day Trump-bashing."
"I didn’t remember any of you getting that worked up about Barack Obama. Ever."
"Proof of Obama’s crimes had been placed in front of all of you, and you all swept it aside without a moment’s hesitation. You’ve shrugged off Obama’s culpability. And in doing so, you’ve set yourself against liberty and justice. You’ve accepted perfidy and treason at the highest levels as part of the rules of the road."

One of the saddest and most disappointing for me was finding out that Its. Joe Lieberman, "Holy Joe", is a lobbyist for China. That was the last straw.

SO MANY hard-hitting pull quotes from this article!
"You claimed to be against “big government.” In fact, you’re all cogs in a sprawling Washington establishment that extends way beyond the constitutionally prescribed president, Congress, and Supreme Court to include agencies, think tanks, lobbying groups, news organizations, and so on, that work together to shape government policies—policies that might or might not accord with the wishes or best interests of most Americans beyond the Beltway."
"When the Democrats tried to sell the patently phony Russian-collusion narrative and impeachment case, some of you joined in the pile-on. Some didn’t: such matters weren’t in your wheelhouse. Besides, at least some of you had to have realized early on that it was all lies.
But none of you blew the whistle on it. "
The RINOs only protect each other--the KNEW all this crap against the President was FALSE and they DID NOTHING about it.
Time for We The People to DEMAND Term Limits on getting the entrenched OUT of the DC fantasy land. REGARDLESS of party.
It has all been right before our very eyes, and those who sought to make hay by ALLOWING this travesty of justice need to be called out for it. They KNEW all along.
Shame on McPain for circulating the false dossier! Shame on Mittens!
We have met the enemy and they are the DC entrenched politicians spending money we don't have for political patronage and votes...

One of the greatest things Trump has done is expose the faux conservatives. The cruise ship conservatives have lost their audience. They've become "useful idiots" to the liberal press. No one I know pays attention to them anymore.

Oh yes, please make this a Must Read. This is one to share with your Republican friends who still insist its only Democrats who are the selfish, greedy traitors to our country.
Add to his list all these former administration officials who sure pick on anything Trump yet stay silent still on the outrageous crimes perpetrated by Obama’s instruments of federal power! It is particularly shocking that Carter and Dubya have been a party to
covering up for crooks and con men like the Clintons and Obamas. They have both turned out not to be fit to wipe Trump’s shoes - and they were actually our presidents. Its almost too much to accept sometimes.

May this clarion call get wide attention and publication!
The RINOs have learned their lessons well. They mouth the words of freedom and liberty, while secretly assigning their own meanings to these words. You are advised to watch what they do and pay no attention to what they say. What they want is POWER.
They really heart themselves. They believe that they are the vanguard of the future. They are wrong. They are a gasp from the feudal past. Entitled one and all, they want to be the American nomenlaktura.
They have embraced the "big lie" technique. Their lie is that they are with us.
They are not with us.
They are with themselves, hiding in their guarded enclaves, surrounded by armed guards, while taking our guns away. And they have their own shops and their own personal shoppers and their own food stores (Waygu beef, anyone?).

Oh, man..... this is a “must read” if ever there was one. This is the letter I wanted to send to National Review when I canceled my subscription after more than thirty years. I kept wondering why they longed for someone who would stand up to the Dems, and when he came along, they immediately turned on him. Now I know.
How can we get this to Jonah Goldberg? On second thought, forget it: he knows what he is, and he doesn’t care.

Ditto, MUST READ. This is a primer in the Deep State concept and the traitors in our midst. We all know that it is even deeper and more insidious as the cancer goes deeper back to the Rockefeller's and Woodrow Wilson and the emergence of the globalist greed feeding off of the USA's benevolence.
Case in point, Burisma is a money laundering scheme for US aid to Ukraine, and, Biden and others are the beneficiaries.
Every mismanaged Government program (welfare, Medicaid, etc.) is making somebody rich!

FTA:
"But you? However much you talked about liberty, at bottom you weren’t really about liberty at all—at least not the individual liberty of ordinary Americans. What were you about? Well, for one thing, you were about the “liberty” of giant American corporations to move their factories abroad, even to Communist countries, without penalty. For those of you who work at think tanks, this position was understandable: owners of giant corporations paid your hefty salaries. "
Yes, so, SO many of the "conservative commentariat" turns out were really just talking about it, believed NONE of it, lived none of it, and wanted none of it for the rest of the country.
Despicable people, and a long, long list of them. Never forget, never forgive their traitorous behavior. They are perfectly willing to let the COUNTRY fail, as long as they have their comfy little niche saying platitudes that they don't actually believe. In some ways I pity them, but mostly I despise them.

To the author, I say: better late than never. Many of us realized a long time ago that the so-called Professional Right were really just members of the Uni-Party, performing their assigned roles mouthing positions they didn't truly believe. Trump came along and put into action everything they had once professed to have believed in. But rather than celebrate his achievements, they joined in with the Rats in trying to destroy him. How dare some interloper crash their party! The mask is off exposing themselves as frauds. Good riddance to the lot of them.

I would add the ever-sanctimonious David French to the list, although I like him in other respects. Sounds funny, I know.
I've come to believe that these Never-Trump pundits mostly write and speak for the benefit of each other, as opposed to Country Class deplorables like us,
